00:00We keep hearing from, you know, people in Washington, senior figures in the Trump administration, talking about what they call a new Middle East.
00:08I just want to ask you what the new Middle East looks like. What does that expression mean to you?
00:14It's a great question, Tom. And I think what the new Middle East looks like is the Abraham Accords and economic cooperation.
00:21You know, peace through business, not peace through strength necessarily.
00:25I mean, we need obviously military strength and the strength of deterrence.
00:30But, you know, President Trump in the first term with the Abraham Accords was, you know, a great step in the right direction.
00:37I think you'll see more Abraham Accords signed in even the near future.
00:42And of course, you know, you've had the proposal from some of the emirates, the proposal from some of the sheikhs in the region that have proposed, you know, creating sort of an emirate structure.
00:57And I think that's something that the president could embrace, really.
01:00But overall, it's bringing economic ties, peace through business and not and not continued wars here.
01:07So I think he's got a great platform to lean on that started in the first term and will continue.
