On the Middle East, the French leader expressed his desire of "working together" to recognise a state of Palestine. 00:30we decided to launch last February this coalition of the willing you mentioned.

00:35And this coalition was just a signal that the Europeans will never abandon Ukraine. Never.

00:43Clearly, we have to work together in order to defend an efficient multilateralism

00:51and to protect the international order as we fought it after the Second World War.

01:26I want to command your country since the first day and even before the first day.

01:34You were part of the closest ally of Ukraine, training the army, being here the first day to protect President Zelensky,

01:45his government, and allowing the forces just to resist, as you did decades ago with my country.

01:53And together, we worked very hard during the past few years in order to stand with the Ukrainian people,

02:02just helping them to resist.

02:05We were right and we are right.

02:07And because every time Vladimir Putin's Russia advances in Ukraine, the threat moves closer to us all,

02:14we will never accept the theory that might is right.

02:18And I want to be clear.

02:20This is why, together with you, Mr. Prime Minister,

02:23we decided to launch last February this coalition of the willing you mentioned.

02:36And whatever the decisions could be elsewhere,

03:01we will fight till the very last minute in order to get the ceasefire,

03:06in order to start the negotiations to build this robust and sustainable peace.

03:13Because this is our security and our principles together, which are at stake in Ukraine.

03:20This is the possibility of a European peace.

03:24Our generation did enjoy during the past decade, which is at stake in Ukraine.

03:30Nothing less.

03:31And together, we will follow up these efforts.
