K’taka Municipal Staff protests against state govt over various demands in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, July 08, 2025 (ANI): Employees of Municipal Corporation across Karnataka protested at Freedom Park in Bengaluru on July 08. They were protested against the state government over various demands. “Our corporation provides all services from birth to death so we are demanding facilities from the state government including KGID, General Provident Fund and Jyothi Sanjeevini Scheme... We also demand C&R in promotions... We have consulted ministers in the government...,” said Employee.

00:33the examination completed with the KPC examination so why should they consider as a semi-government

01:20benefits same it should be applied to us also that is the main our city corporation provides all the

01:26service regarding from birth to death so we are all wanting to get all the facilities from the state

01:35government that is the KGID and the GBI and then one more is Jyoti Sanjivini that has to be extended

01:43to our corporation also and we need a facility from this one also finance department has to provide us

01:51for the 7th for the 7th May so that also is coming under what is your main demand demand demand is to get KGID to

02:00extend for our ULBs also so our ULBs are not getting like directly it's not under state government

02:09scheme so we have to get KGID then as per 7th pay commission we have to get the pay from the finance department

02:17then the Jyoti Sanjivini then the C&R yeah and uh C&R that too for promotions that is a must like

02:27uh for a certain period then later we don't get any promotion so for us also we too have to get all those
