"Raw & alive" was the fifth album by American garage rock band The Seeds. Marked as a live album recorded at Merlin's Music Box, Hollywood, California, although all the album's contents were actually completed live-in-studio with the audience overdubbed. The concert is violent, wild, full of uncommon energy, characterized by a big, heavy, saturated, dirty, raw sound.
Sky Saxon - vocals, bass, harmonica. Ja Savage - guitar, gong, backing vocals. Daryl Hooper - organ, piano. Harvey Sharpe - bass. Rick Andridge - drums. backing vocals.
Mr. Farmer. No escape. Satisfy you. Can't seem to make you mine. Mumble and bumble. Forest outside your door. Gypsy plays his drums. Up in her room. Pushin' too hard.
