00:00Pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered outside the White House on Monday evening,
00:06calling for an end to the conflict in Gaza as President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime
00:11Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We shouldn't be silent. We should raise our voices because if
00:18today is their turn, tomorrow is our turn. So if we don't stand for our rights, tomorrow is our turn.
00:24So I'm a father, so I think like when I see the kids there, I feel like my own kids are being,
00:32can also be in that situation. So that's the whole idea. And I say free Palestine.
00:41Because I can't stand the fact that people are suffering and being killed the way they are.
00:47It's unbelievable that this is happening in this day and age. And I feel helpless.
00:53And I feel like our country is hijacked by people who want this to continue and are making it positive.
01:01And that's not what I want my tax dollars to go to.
01:05The demonstration coincided with high-level talks between Trump and Netanyahu,
01:10focused on securing a U.S.-brokered Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal.
01:15Netanyahu's visit followed Trump's prediction that an agreement could be reached soon.
01:19Before heading to Washington, the right-wing Israeli leader said his discussions with Trump could help
01:26advance negotiations underway in Qatar between Israel and Palestinian representatives.
