Oregon Ducks Defensive Line Coach Tony Tuioti Discusses Bear Alexander's Growth This Spring
Transcript
00:00All right, Zach.
00:05Just more about Bear.
00:06How have you seen him kind of fit in the locker room,
00:08kind of add to the culture here,
00:10and then his production on the field too?
00:12Yeah, it started off very quiet, very reserved,
00:15but he reminds me a lot of how Burch was,
00:18how Jamari Caldwell was when they first got here,
00:21and slowly they start opening up, you know,
00:23once they feel more comfortable with the brotherhood we have here.
00:25But he's been great.
00:27He's been awesome in the building, coming up, getting extra meetings.
00:32You know, he's doing all the right things, you know,
00:34so taking in coaching, he's been accountable to his teammates,
00:38and so excited about where he's at right now.
00:41Obviously, he's kind of drinking out of the fire hose a little bit,
00:44just kind of learning the system, but that's what spring ball is for,
00:47you know, so he's excited about his growth,
00:49and, you know, he's been at practice every day,
00:51not missing any reps,
00:52and, you know, just excited to see what he's going to be able to do for us this year.
