The Junior Car Club brought together over 100 vehicles to compete,
with events ranging from midget class (500cc capacity engines) to 'Grand Prix' class.
Reg Parnell took the chequered flag, and the first ever Goodwood Trophy,
beginning a love affair with the track that would eventually lead to him being
dubbed the "Emperor of Goodwood".
