00:00The Atlanta Falcons have plenty of star power within their offense thanks to a number of high
00:04draft picks, but which one is best primed to explode on the national scene in 2025?
00:13I'm Kyle Krabs of A to Z Sports, and the Atlanta Falcons offense is anchored by several top 10
00:19draft choices at critical stops, including quarterback with Michael Penix Jr., running
00:25back with Bijan Robinson, tight end with Kyle Pitts, and wide receiver Drake London.
00:31Now, London, one of just four NFL players last season to post at least 100 receptions,
00:381,000 yards, and eight receiving touchdowns, but I am here to tell you that Drake London's
00:44stocks are going to the moon.
00:46If you're a dynasty fantasy football player, you've probably already seen a whole bunch
00:51of promising metrics that suggest that London is only going to be more productive, despite
00:57being third in the NFL in targets last season with 158, his target share impressive, but
01:04with Michael Penix down the stretch in the final month of the season, it was nearly 40%.
01:10Now, that's not a sustainable rate for the entirety of your offense across a 17-game sample size,
01:15but it's a good omen that the chemistry between London as a big-body player who has the ability
01:22to win down the field and play physical at the catch point will pair well with Michael Penix and
01:28his aggressive style of play to push the ball down the field, and that is one of the big key
01:33differences that I think is going to be the meal ticket for Drake London to produce at a much
01:39higher rate, even if he doesn't get significantly higher targets in 2025 when it's all said and
01:46done.
01:47The ability to get more targets and collect throws down the field is going to yield more
01:52explosive plays, more yards per catch, more air yards per target.
01:56All of those things mean Drake London has the potential to be a 15-yards-per-catch type player
02:02despite being a volume receiver.
02:05Drake London made his debut this summer on the NFL 100, voted by his peers as one of
02:11the top 100 players in the NFL.
02:14He was in the late 90s.
02:16I would be willing to bet this time next year, Drake London is significantly higher on the
02:21NFL 100 list than he is this summer, just like I would be willing to bet he collects
02:26his first set of Pro Bowl honors.
02:29I know the Pro Bowl isn't what it used to be, but across the last three seasons, there have
02:34been 31 individual player performances in which a player has caught at least 100 passes in
02:40a season.
02:4126 of those 31 were honored for their performance with a Pro Bowl recognition, and Drake London
02:48in 2024 was not among them.
02:52So expect the narrative to change this fall around a former top 10 wide receiver as he,
02:58amidst quarterback change, will get more explosive plays, get more eye-popping numbers, even if
03:04he was already fed the football at an impressive rate in 2024.
03:09Look for Drake London to be one of the breakout stars of the 2025 season.
