00:00Long ago, there was a prophet named Sulaiman , also known as Solomon .

00:15He was a powerful king in the Levant area, which includes parts of modern-day Palestine,

00:22Jordan and Syria.

00:25Allah blessed Prophet Sulaiman with many gifts, such as controlling the wind and jinns.

00:36Jinns live in tribes, eat, drink, and can choose to be bad or good like humans.

00:43Allah gave Prophet Sulaiman the power to talk to animals too.

00:53There is a story of this in the Quran Chapter 27 Surah Al-Naml in verses 18 and 19.

01:02One day Prophet Sulaiman gathered his huge army in three groups.

01:11One group was an army of men, another group was an army of jinns, and the other group was

01:17an army of birds.

01:19The army of birds was protecting the other groups from the hot sun.

01:25One time they were going to one place, and on the way, an ant saw King Sulaiman's army.

01:33The ant cried out to warn the other ants, run to your homes.

01:41Otherwise, Sulaiman and his army might crush you accidentally.

01:47Prophet Sulaiman heard the ant and smiled.

01:54He ordered his army to be careful of the ants.

01:57Sulaiman became very grateful to Allah for giving him the ability to understand the ant's

02:07language and save the ant's lives.

02:10The story of Prophet Sulaiman and the ants teaches us three important things.

02:19First, it reminds us to be kind to all creatures, no matter how small they are.

02:26Second, it teaches us to be humble, no matter how powerful we become.

02:32Even though Sulaiman, peace be upon him, was a powerful king, he stopped to make sure the

02:39little ants were okay.

02:42Finally, this story reminds us to take care of our planet and all the creatures on it.

02:50There is even a hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari where Prophet Muhammad said that there is a reward

02:58for serving or caring for any living being.

03:03As Muslims, we believe it is our job to take care of the earth and everything living on

03:10it.

03:11So, we should always be kind, humble, and responsible towards all living beings.
