00:00It was a dino-sized box office debut. Jurassic World Rebirth stomped into theaters and crushed the competition, raking in $147 million domestically over the five-day July 4th holiday weekend stretch. The seventh film in Universal's blockbuster franchise was only expected to rake in $135 million.
00:19It left Apple and Warner Bros. racing thriller F1 in the dust. That film dropped to number two, pulling in $26 million this weekend, down more than 50% from last week. Third place went to How to Train Your Dragon with $9.7 million in its fourth weekend of release.
