00:00i have a great lb story from that from that uh series so we were in montreal for game five and

00:08willie plett was uh he played with us that year and we like to have a little fun at the pre-game

00:15meals and stuff and willie wanted me to get under the table and and and shoe check everybody that

00:22came by and so i'm putting ketchup on everybody i almost got terry o'reilly thank god i didn't

00:29but i got lb like twice and uh so lb cut my pants somehow like in between periods or before the

00:43game or had the trainer did it he nailed someone's shoes to the ceiling of the dressing room

00:52and when i'm coming out everybody's so excited you know that we had just beat him i had a trench

00:58trench coat i think it was a little rainy or whatever and lb's telling everybody watch

01:03when swoop comes on i cut his pants up to his knees but what i did is i had my belt below my waist and

01:11it went all the way down to my shoes and lb's like oh what the hell's going on here i cut his pants

01:17and i opened up the my trench coat and everybody started laughing but no lb loved to have fun and do

01:25some pranks like that and uh you know you said the fourth of july and you know i'll never forget the

01:32his uh you know shorts with maybe suspenders on with one of them hanging down and um

01:39yeah um he was he had some interesting wardrobes uh and probably arguable because you guys get a ton

01:47of support but nobody whether it was bruins alumni events or boston bruins foundation charitable events

01:56nobody would show up like lb would show up he would show up whenever he was asked

02:01or greg hill foundation events you know yes you know he would always always show up to those you

02:09know he sometimes you might not make it to work the next day but he had some great excuses as we all

02:14know and um but that that's lb that's that was him that's what made him so special and that's why

02:20everybody he was so near and dear and so beloved by everybody yeah um we you and i spoke yesterday and

02:28uh i uh i want to share that we are uh we want to do something for annie and for lb's son will

02:39and so um we are doing uh launching a fundraiser for them uh and the boston bruins foundation
