Capitol Hill, Republicans, vote, party lines, energy
Transcript
Well, there's no perspective quite like Kelly O'Grady's. So thank you so much for being here on set with us today. We're going to go back to Zach Hudak on Capitol Hill. Zach, time is winding down. We have a few minutes left, about four minutes left. The vote is, as predicted, completely falling along party lines. What's the vibe on Capitol Hill right now? What's the energy? It is a very positive energy among Republicans who see this as a path out of a very difficult battle. toward actually enacting large portions of President Trump's agenda. So it is very positive in general among Republicans. I think there are some Republicans who are concerned about explaining some of these cuts, particularly the Medicare cuts, excuse me, Medicaid cuts, when they go back to their districts. Among them, I would assume Brian Fitzpatrick, who I don't believe has cast his vote yet, but who voted against the roll last night. He was the sole Republican voting against it.
