02:41et je pense que quand on a la musique,
02:45c'était alors comment on va prendre la production à la prochaine niveau,
02:48et comment on va prendre la production à la sens de l'euphorie et de l'étonnement.
02:51Et il nous a pris deux ans et demi à l'heure pour avoir la musique.
02:54Donc, c'est génial d'être vraiment génial.

03:00Et quel est le dernier moment dans votre vie qui a été vraiment cinématique pour vous ?
03:07C'est une vraie question.
03:10Il y a eu un beau sunset, j'ai vu juste en L.A.
03:13Et il y a eu un beau sunset et il y a eu un grand monde qui a été regardé sur les blanquets,
03:19et il y a eu un grand, beau, et le soleil s'est éclaté sur le horizon.
03:23C'était absolument génial.
03:25C'est pour moi, c'est vraiment cinématique.

03:28Oh mon Dieu, je ne sais pas.

03:40Si cinématique, let's be creative, if cinématique was the soundtrack to a movie scene,
03:45like, what would that scene look like?
03:47Come on.
03:48You know the scene in Notting Hill?
03:52Yeah.
03:52When Will is chasing after Anna before she leaves the country, because they're like, we can't do this anymore, and then Anna's in the final press conference for the film that she's doing.
04:05Yeah.
04:05And she's in London for a little bit, and Will goes sprinting through the traffic to go and find
04:11Anna to basically play pretend reporter, and basically that whole scene of him sprinting to go and chase after her, that's cinematic, man.
04:21Come on.

04:26Is it a standalone single, or is it part of a more larger project, like an album, maybe?
04:44It's the start of a bigger project, which is really exciting.
04:48We haven't released music for a little while, and so getting Cinematic out there into the world really feels like, kind of, yeah, a line in the sand, and we're taking a step into this new world, which I feel so excited about.
04:58So cool.
04:59And the music videos for Cinematic just dropped.
05:02Yeah.
05:02First of all, congrats.
05:03I saw all the references to the rom-coms.
05:05Come on.
05:06So, can you tell us, like, how did the idea of this music video come together?
05:12Sure.
05:12I worked with this incredible director called Elliot Lee in LA, who's unbelievable, and my creative director, India Tires, who's back in South Africa.
05:22And we were just kind of brainstorming, how do we bring this song to life?
05:27Because music videos are my favorite things ever, because you really can just dream and brainstorm and really just think outside of your world.
05:35And when we were thinking about this project, this whole project is centered around rom-coms and bringing people together and allowing people to experience love and feel connected in such a disconnected world.
05:46And when it came to creating this music video specifically, we wanted it to feel nostalgic of, like, the rom-coms that we grew up on, right?
05:56Okay.
05:57And so we were just brainstorming, how best do we do that?
06:00And it was basically just this whole idea of, there's this, I think there's a movie before Sunrise, there's also this other movie with Chris Evans, and I'm forgetting the actress's name, where they basically miss their trains.
06:12And it's basically them going about their lives for this 12-hour period after they've missed their train.
06:18And we kind of took that idea and extended on it and created our own little rom-com in the hills of LA.
06:25That's so cool.
06:26You've been traveling and performing a lot lately.
06:28Can we expect a show in Paris soon?
06:30100%.
06:31We're coming back in the fall in November.
