00:00To her, it was clear that her best friend was in no condition to handle this entire situation,

07:45Gary wasn't sure if he was imagining things or not, but even though his opponent was heavily
07:49injured, it appeared as if he was still faster.
07:52While Billy charged in recklessly like a bull, Gary leapt onto the side of the wall.
07:58He made sure to extend his nails, so they would pierce into the side holding him in place,
08:03before he quickly pounced right into Billy.
08:06His action was similar to what he had done with the twins.
08:10Gary's tackle was strong, and he pushed the other werewolf against the wall.
08:14Billy was startled, and quickly, not wasting time, Gary placed his hand on the back of Billy's
08:21head and slammed it into the wall.
08:23Blood gushed out of Billy's mouth and from the side of his head.
08:27A werewolf's skull proved to be quite durable, far more than that of a human or a wolf who
08:32would have been crushed under Gary's current strength.
08:35The brown werewolf also noticed that his fingers felt like they were going through some type of
08:40leather armor.
08:41They would only go so far through the skin until it stopped, and the bones were so strong
08:46even with his claws, it seemed impossible to break them.
08:50In the first place, werewolves could claw at their enemies, creating big cuts.
08:56However, if he was to punch them with an open hand, the muscles in their fingers didn't
09:00seem strong enough to pierce a skull, so at times, resorting to punching and grabbing was
09:05more effective than a swipe.
09:07Now, holding his head in place, Gary was hoping he would be able to pierce Billy's skull and
09:13end it once and for all.
09:15He threw his fist, with his fingers extending outward, not caring whether he broke them or
09:20not.
09:21Desperate to get out of the situation, it looked like Billy was trying to push off against the
09:25wall, but before he could, Blake had rolled in between the two werewolves.
09:30They were large creatures, so there was plenty of space.
09:33Getting in, he then threw small daggers right into the back of Billy's hands.
09:39They pierced right through, indicating that these small blades were sharper than the big
09:44blade that Blake had used earlier, though it still wasn't enough to kill Billy.
09:48Next, with his only intact blade left, Blake started to slash at the back of Billy's legs,
09:54trying his best to render him immobile.
09:57Billy had displayed great speed and strength, yet in the altered hunter's mind that speed
10:01was far more dangerous and needed to be dealt with first.
10:05Because of his cooperation, Gary's fingers slammed into the back of Billy's skull.
10:11It had initially gone through the hide piercing it, but then he felt his fingers start to bend,
10:16and then he got a notification he had been worried about.

10:34Taking his other hand off while leaving his broken hand to hold Billy's head.

17:43When Gary looked at Billy now, he could see that his human-like head had been sliced off, his blood all over Blake's sword.
17:49Without a second thought, Blake lifted Billy's head, and checked his mouth.
17:55It seemed like Billy's transformation hadn't completely reversed, as the dead werewolf still had two large fangs in his mouth.

24:48Still, learning that she was supposedly back at their apartment, he took that as a good sign.
24:54Nevertheless, Gary couldn't help but feel like it might be a trap.
24:59The high schooler started to sniff the door a few times, in case there might be any foreign sense.
25:04Unable to find any, he climbed up the side of the apartment and looked through the windows to check inside, but there were no signs of anyone being home.

31:11Stacy didn't even try to ask them to let me go with her, she didn't try to convince him to let me go too, she just gave me a brief look before she practically ran out of the shop.

31:23He could tell that Amy felt betrayed by her best friend, but during his time with the underdogs, he had seen this situation happen time and time again.
31:34Fear was a strong tool to use, and everything that Raven had done so far, had been to instill fear into the girls.
31:41Making them feel safe, and then realizing that even the place they thought was safe was not.
31:47He had broken Stacy down, Gary was honestly surprised she had stayed quiet for as long as she had done.
31:53Of course, Stacy's actions were abhorrent, but they were also the norm.
31:58Knowing this didn't stop Gary from inwardly cursing the teenage girl for leaving his sister,
32:03especially since it was Stacy's fault in the first place that the Dem family had been dragged into the entire mess.
32:10Just when Gary was about to ask his sister how she had escaped, Amy continued,
32:14I thought I was done for at that point.
32:17That guy told me that they had some type of jammer in the coffee shop.
32:21I couldn't call anyone and my message wasn't sending, but then he just looked at me and laughed.
32:27He seemed to have greatly enjoyed seeing me so hopeless and desperate.
32:32Nobody did anything to me, so I sat back down, afraid what would happen next.
32:38I was prepared for him to ask me about you, about what happened that day again,
32:42but, for some reason he just sat down opposite of me and continued to drink his coffee.
32:46Occasionally, he seemed to give his men some orders, but otherwise he only looked at me with a smirk on his face.
32:54I must have sat there for at least a few hours.
32:58I don't know how long exactly, but eventually he just stood up and left.
33:03I was shocked, afraid that this might be another sort of trap.
33:06I continued waiting there for a while, but nobody seemed to care about me,
33:12eventually, I gathered my courage and slowly headed towards the door,
33:16seeing that nobody stopped me, I ran out as fast as I could.
33:20I was so stunned by everything that happened, I couldn't even process it all.
33:25Amy finished, putting her legs on the chair and hugging herself.
33:28Gary immediately came up and gave her a hug.
33:33His sister didn't push him away, she just started to sob into his chest.
33:37The two of them stayed in that position for a while, until Amy stopped crying.
33:43The grey elephants, it looks like that guy I got rid of was really important to someone in their gang.
33:49Not just anyone could use an entire place like that and utilize so many people,
33:53so now the two biggest gangs in SLU are after me, huh?

34:06While Gary was lost in his thoughts, Amy patted her brother's arm, indicating that she was okay.
34:12The teenage boy let go of his sister and went to sit back down in his seat.
34:18Amy's eyes looked swollen and puffy.
34:21It reminded Gary of the day they had found out what had happened to their mother.
34:24Amy herself had been through a lot that day,
34:28and Gary never wanted for her to have to experience something like that again but because of him.
34:33Why didn't I just threaten them, hurt them a little, no, there's no guarantee it would have ended with that.
34:40That hawk guy threatened me with consequences and based on the way his brother acts,
34:44he would have definitely come back for revenge.
34:47Gary.
34:48Amy called out to her brother in the midst of his thoughts.
34:51Can you tell me what happened after Stacey and I left the room?
34:56I wanted to ask you the other day, but that guy did tell me a bit more.
35:00He said that not only his brother had gone missing, but everyone who had been there in that room,
35:05except for me and Stacey.
35:07This was a question Gary had been dreading,
35:10but of course it was actually something he had prepared an answer in the past.
35:14He just hadn't had to use his excuse.

35:19Gary sighed as he looked at his sister, trying his best to look innocent.
35:24Honestly, I was in a panic.
35:27I mean, I came in and saw what they did to you.

35:32I shouted at them like a madman,
35:34threatening to kill them if they would ever touch my little sister again.
35:37I've once heard that acting crazy is the best way to scare people away,
35:42since they can't predict what you might do next.
35:45It seems like some of that was true,
35:48or perhaps they were just too confused about my sudden appearance.
35:52I just wanted to buy you two enough time to get away,
35:55and when it seemed like they were about to attack me,
35:57I decided to run away.
35:59Believe it or not, I'm quite the fast runner now.
36:03Gary explained, pointing to his now strong body.
36:06His sister made a strange face at his explanation.
36:11Gary's suddenly changed body was actually another mystery
36:14that Amy was unable to comprehend.
36:17Those guys must be gangsters like the one who kidnapped you, right?
36:21I bet they're involved in all sorts of stuff.
36:24I wouldn't be surprised if they were on the run from the police or something,
36:28but you don't have to worry about any of that, okay?
36:31Gary tried to persuade Amy.
36:33With that, the conversation seemed to have somewhat come to an end,
36:38and that's when Amy stood up.
36:40It looked like the teenage girl was ready to go back to her room,
36:43but before she did, she turned around.
36:47Gary, you've changed a bit these days.
36:50Amy stated, and she could see the worried look on her brother's face,
36:53so she quickly smiled.
36:55I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing yet,
36:58but whatever happens, you'll always be my big brother.
37:02When heading back to the room, Amy got in her bed and laid down.
37:06She was exhausted in more ways than one,
37:09not even caring that she had barely eaten anything this entire day.
37:13However, she was sure she would have a hard time getting to sleep tonight,
37:17especially since she couldn't stop thinking about one thing.
37:20Amy sat up right in her bed, and looked towards the wardrobe,
37:25but it wasn't her own wardrobe she was looking at, it was Gary's.
