Jannik Sinner a confirmé son statut de numéro 1 mondial ce samedi à Wimbledon en s’imposant avec autorité face à l’Espagnol Pedro Martinez, 6-1, 6-3, 6-1, lors du troisième tour. Sous le toit du Centre Court, l’Italien n’a laissé aucune chance à son adversaire, visiblement diminué par une douleur à l’épaule droite, et s’est qualifié pour les huitièmes de finale en moins de deux heures. Sinner, impressionnant de maîtrise, n’a perdu que cinq jeux sur l’ensemble du match et n’a toujours pas concédé son service depuis le début du tournoi.
