Lottery Winners lead singer gave up Oasis ticket to play Lytham gig that was cancelled

Lytham Festival was cancelled last night due to adverse weather.  The much anticipated event, which was due to be headlined by Alanis Morissette and The Lottery Winners, was cancelled seconds before the Lottery Winners were expected to take the stage due to high winds and adverse weather affecting the Lytham Green site.  Thomas Rylance, the lead singer of The Lottery Winners, shared on social media he had given up tickets Oasis’ opening night tour in Cardiff to perform at Lytham Festival. 00:00Hello. Tonight's gig's been cancelled due to bad weather.

00:04Whatever. I'll roll with it.

00:06But the only thing that's upsetting me is I had Oasis tickets for tonight in Cardiff, the opening night of the tour.

00:11But the weather was so bad where we were playing, I watched the drum kit slide away.

00:15But I suppose it's not all bad because tomorrow will be half the world away in Barcelona.

00:20In fact, all around the world, on a tour, proper rock and roll stars.
