00:00to consider it as a result of our greatness we made great moves we
00:05crushed our opponent let's move on but I bet you there is a mistake and if you
00:14don't find these mistakes if you didn't find what went wrong in your game before
00:24they did they will be ahead of you next time so to be out of a curve you almost
00:29have to analyze your own games even if you win and that's what I did all the
00:34time
00:42studying classical games always helps because at the end of the day it's about
00:48patterns and working and find best place for learning patterns if not studying the
00:56games of those giants who have invented these ideas I spent a lot of time
01:05working on a series of books called my great predecessors and one of the things
01:10I discovered in the process of working on these books is that very often in the
01:17crucial moments of these games they made better decisions at the board at the
01:23moment where all your senses are mobilized they they saw more and better moves than
01:33what one later they were in comfort studies writing books and making comments
01:40when your senses are switched off I can only recommend to read these books because this
01:49is like an encyclopedia of chess ideas you can enjoy some of them more than others you can like
01:56you can like morphe games more than Stein is games you can like
