00:00There was a real bond between Diogo and Anfield and the Liverpool supporters, the Kop.
00:06Obviously he had a fantastic song which was sung with Gusto every week and not every player gets a song
00:13and not every player who gets a song has his song sung every time he plays or even when he's on the bench
00:20and Diogo had that. People would often see him out and about, he'd be on his bike or things like that
00:26and he would always have time for people and he was willing to give people his time
00:30and you never heard really a bad word about him so he was quite a nice, warm human being
00:36but on the actual football pitch, he had something about him.
00:41He had a bit of fight about him, a bit of character about him, a bit of needle about him
00:45and we liked that about him, that's what you want to see as a fan.
00:49I think it's quite fitting in a way that he wore number 20, Liverpool won title number 20
00:55and it feels to me like the move might now be that, you know, that shirt is retired
00:59and in his memory I think that would be fitting. I think a lot of people are saying the same thing.
01:04That's where attentions are starting to turn as it's starting to sink in that this is real,
01:10you know, what can be done to sort of honour his name really.
