00:00Who has the hardest schedule in the NFL?

00:03That's the New York Giants.

00:04And, Donnie, when you see the win total of five and a half for the G-Man,

00:07you might be thinking to yourself,

00:09well, I don't think it's going to be a stellar year in New York,

00:12but I think it's going to be a ton better than it was last year.

00:15Why is it five and a half with some hefty juice on the under?

00:20It is that gauntlet that you see on the right side of your screen.

00:24Goodness gracious.

00:25Russell Wilson might provide some consistency at the quarterback spot

00:29before they turn things over to Jackson Dart.

00:31They have built up the defense.

00:33Malik Nabors should be great.

00:34Tyrone Tracy was a pleasant surprise during his rookie campaign last year.

00:39But that schedule is tough.

00:41So for the Giants to get the six wins, great.

00:44But I'm not even sure that is great for New York,

00:47who might have greener pastures following in 2026.

00:51And by the way, there are positives for New York.

00:54Like, they did put together what looks to be a stellar defensive line.

00:58Like, one of the more talented defensive lines in football.

01:00Carter was my favorite prospect coming out into the NFL.

01:03He's added there along with Thibodeau as well as Lawrence and Burns here.

01:07But here's the problem with that.

01:08That defensive line gets used a lot when, Ben,

01:11when you're up in the fourth quarter, you pin your ears back

01:13and absolutely smash the other quarterback.

01:15How many times are we going to have the lead in the fourth quarter

01:17to really use that defensive line and that so-called NASCAR look

01:20where you can throw Abdul Carter out there

01:22with all of those pass rushes with sexy Dexy on the defensive line?

01:25Here's the issue that you have.

01:27Do we like Malik Nabors?

01:29Of course we do.

01:30Do we take a look at Trace, who might be an up-and-coming running back,

01:32even though pro football focused?

01:34Had him rank 56 out of 59 running backs.

01:36Make sure you're on your P's and Q's, kid, picking up your assignments.

01:39Here's the issue I'm worried in.

01:40Like, see that five and a half.

01:41And you know me.

01:41I have a much lower price point here on the Giants' win total.

01:44They just got to get the four games for me.

01:46And say, oh, that should be easily doable without –

01:48I don't care what schedule it is.

01:50Here's what I start to get nervous on.

01:52It's Russell Wilson, a quarterback, and as you stated.

01:55Like, if you told me right now, Ben,

01:57Russ is going to play all 17 games.

01:59He might not be spectacular, but he's going to be efficient,

02:01and he's going to make plays that need to be played,

02:03and maybe he doesn't make that spectacular plays he used to make in Seattle,

02:06but that's good enough for four wins.

02:08What happens if they're one and seven?

02:10And they go, all right, writing's on the wall.

02:12We're not supposed to win any games.

02:14And then that dumbbell owner goes, hey, guys,

02:16no matter what happens this year, you guys are going to be back.

02:18And they just tank football again to get a better pick

02:20and check out their rookie quarterback.

02:22That is what I'm starting to sweat over right now.

02:25Give me Russ for 17 games.

02:26I'll run to the window and cash it.

02:28If they start one and seven, I'm in trouble.
