00:17In a simple turnover ceremony this Tuesday at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex,
00:22Patrick Pato Gregorio was appointed as the 13th chief of the National Sports Agency and replaced the position of Richard Dickey Bachman.
00:30Pato is also not a new name in the sports industry because before becoming chairperson,
00:35he was the secretary general of the Philippine Olympic Committee, the chairman of the Philippine Growing Association,
00:41and the chairman of the Philippine Basketball Association.
00:44Gregorio said his service to Philippine sports will remain.
00:49Expect big changes, di ba?
00:51Don't expect anything less than a vibrant and exciting transformation.

01:10Patrick also stated that his priority is the welfare of the athletes who sacrifice for the country.

02:04Gregorio also shared a message for our national athletes.
02:08In his first year as PSA chairperson,
02:11he has gained good momentum following the Philippines' historic victories
02:15in international multi-sport competitions such as the Olympics.

02:23tuloy niyo po yung talagang sakritisyo para sa bayan.

02:37sa tamang panahon, sa mabilis na panahon.

02:41And, you know, we can only do that if we all work together.

02:48We can only do that if we have the support of media
02:52to communicate, to encourage these people.
02:55Na tama yung ginagawa niya tuloy nila.
02:57Pato is looking forward to the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand in 2025,
