Sophisticutz Salon near Shrewsbury throws a party to celebrate 25 years

Sophisticutz Salon has been going for 25 years and to mark that they had a bit of a garden party for their customers and staff.

00:06Helen Humphrey.

00:07So you're having a bit of a soiree today. What's going on? What's the cause?

00:11We're celebrating 25 years of business.

00:15So we've invited clients from 2 o'clock through to this evening to come and celebrate with us with bubbles.

00:20We're launching PaceScan, which is an ultimate hair and scalp analysis,

00:25which shows you more of an in-depth, well, seeing into more in-depth with your hair and your scalp,

00:33any concerns or problems you might have.

00:35We're also doing a wrap-up for breast cancer.

00:37And that's all kind of using the latest technology, isn't it?

00:54Yeah. So have you been 25 years at this location?

00:58Yeah, I opened that one 25 years ago, yeah.

01:00So how would you describe where it is? You're used to that.

01:04Yeah, so we're on the 853. We're two miles from Battlefield Roundabout,

01:08and two miles before Shortbury, with a little hamlet called Bings.

01:12Cool. And so you've got long-standing customers, haven't you?

01:15Yeah, we've got people here today that have been coming for the 25 years.

01:19Yeah, yeah.

01:19And, yeah, yeah, it's great, actually, yeah.

01:23It's more than just a hair salon, really, you know.

01:25We love our jobs, and we love our clients, and we wouldn't be here without our clients.

01:29And I'm getting a sense, just kind of watching you in the team,

01:32you seem to have a real bond, you know, you like your giggle and...

01:35We do. We like our giggle, and we like to have fun, but we're very serious about what we do as a job.

01:39So we're very professional in that we take our job seriously, but we like to have fun while we're working.
