00:00Last night out in the Pacific Northwest, Big Dumper went deep for the first time in seven games.
00:05Cal Raleigh hitting his MLB best 33rd home run of the season.
00:10And Seattle beat Kansas City 6-2.
00:13Tonight in the Northwest, my Big Dumper start to go on a streak.
00:18Minus 136, the price in favor of Seattle against Michael Lorenzen and the Royals once again on this Tuesday evening.
00:26Eight and a half DRS is that total.
00:28Last night, nearly 80 degrees by the time we reach first pitch out in Seattle.
00:33Then at the end of June, that's warm for a night game there for the M's.
00:38What are we seeing on this Tuesday night out in the Northwest?
00:42Yeah, about 77 at first pitch tonight.
00:43So still nice, but the wind tonight blowing in at eight miles per hour to right field.
00:46But again, it's a stadium that's really not that big of an impact whatsoever.
00:50You take a look at Michael Lorenzen, one of my favorite pitchers to fade here.
00:53He comes in on the card over the last 45 days for me.
00:55He's been 25th out of 27 pitchers today.
00:58A 119 XFIP minus a 6.62 ERA and a 4.85 XFIP number.
01:04So yes, right in the middle of that lineup here is a right-handed pitcher here.
01:07For Lorenzen, we'll be Cal Raleigh.
01:09Switch hitter, we'll be batting lefty.
01:10How has Michael Lorenzen done against lefties in the past 30 days?
01:13How about a 315 ISO and a 382 weighted on base percentage and a low K rate?
01:17Hello, Cal Raleigh, 329 ISO, 404 weighted on base percentage, his last 83 at-bats against
01:24right-handed pitching.
01:25And the lineup doesn't look great here per se for the Mariners, but Cal Raleigh, he looks
01:30fantastic.
01:31Now, Emerson Hancock on the opposite side, not a great pitcher either, Ben.
01:34His last 45 days, a 117 XFIP minus, which is above average.
01:38Bobby Wick, great numbers against right-handed pitching.
01:40Vinny Pasquantino and Salvador Perez.
01:42But if we are looking at the matchups here, Hancock over the past 30 days, Ben, to right-handed
01:47batters, he's been really good.
01:48To left-handed batters, Leakey to say the least.
01:51A 338 ISO against and a weighted on base percentage of 383, a low K rate and a high
01:56walk rate.
01:57That puts the pass watch right there in the crosshairs tonight with a 206 ISO and a 440 weighted
02:03on base percentage with only a 6% K rate.
02:06Over there, 72 at-bats against right-handed pitching.
02:09So how about this?
02:09Two lefties in the lineup tonight.
02:11Cal Raleigh one side.
02:12Vinny P on the other side.
02:14One of those guys is at least getting an RBI and you're going to take down that plus
02:17money up there in the Pacific Northwest tonight.
