New Delhi, July 01, 2025 (ANI): New Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta slammed former ruling govt. Aam Aadmi party for its flop healthcare model saying that they didn’t work on infrastructure. Speaking on Doctor’s day, she said “the theme given by the Centre today is 'Behind the Mask, Who Will Heal the Healer,' and this is absolutely correct. Unless we provide technical support to doctors, give them staff to assist, or have nurses in hospitals, how can anyone work? Today, there is immense pressure on Delhi's hospitals...there is a need for ICUs and trauma centres, but so far, we haven't been able to build enough infrastructure to meet that need. Previous governments did not work on this...Our government is fully alert in this direction and is working to enhance medical infrastructure...the government is working in mission mode. I believe that gradually, we will normalise everything".
