Damon Hill believes Max Verstappen is still a formidable F1 force despite Red Bull's waning dominance

00:00I have to say, I think that they're starting to slide a little bit.

00:06Well, they definitely have slid from their dominance.

00:08And they have a big challenge next year with the new regulations

00:12and a new power unit, which they've built themselves with Ford.

00:16So there's a lot of questions about where this is going to go next.

00:20They've lost Adrian Newey, who was regarded as being a key player in their team

00:25and a reason for their success.

00:27So a lot at stake at Red Bull.

00:31Right, he's formidable.

00:33I mean, there's no doubt he is extraordinary.

00:36He's at the very peak, I think, of what it's possible to be as a racing driver in Formula 1.

00:43I mean, both speed, determination.

00:46He's fierce as a competitor on the track.

00:49You know, he's uncompromising, sometimes a little bit too aggressive.

00:54That's my view.

00:55But he delivers.

00:58He delivers more than possibly anybody could out of that car.

01:03And, yeah, so you need to disadvantage him in a way to have a chance.
