Bengaluru (Karnataka), July 1, 2025 (ANI): Amid speculation of a potential change in Karnataka Congress leadership, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on July 1 said that there are no talks of change in Chief Minister’s face. “... When the High Command has clearly stated, there is nothing of that sort in the decision-making process, then it doesn't matter who say what. Everyone's roles have been very well defined. Siddaramaiah is the CM, DK Shivakumar is the PCC President and the Deputy CM... Everyone is free to express their opinions at the right forum. If anyone has any problem with the state leadership, they need to speak to the party's High Command, and not the media... There is no fire burning, there is no discontentment... There are no talks of change in CM face... When the AICC President, the PCC President, and the CM have very clearly stated everything clearly, how does it matter what others say,” said Priyank Kharge.

00:00Many others are reiterating the same situation. What is happening in your parties?
00:04See, there is nothing wrong if they're, what do you say, they're people or they wish well for their leaders.
00:15But whatever they need to tell, they need to tell it at the party forum.
00:19If they come and speak to the media, these things will not happen, number one.
00:23Number two, we are all in responsible positions and we need to speak responsibly.
00:30And number three, and most importantly, when the high command has very clearly stated there is nothing of that sort in the decision-making process, it doesn't matter who says what.
00:45The high command has been very clear. Everybody's roles have been well-defined.
00:49Mr. Sidrama is the chief minister. Mr. D.K. Shukumar is the PCC president and the deputy chief minister.
00:55Everybody has been assigned their responsibility through their ministry.
00:58And it's our job to ensure we deliver for the people of Karnataka.
01:02So, irrespective of who says what, the stand by the high command is extremely clear.
01:08Why is this lobbying by some of your MLSR? Because is it too much democracy in your party or is it a loose party?
01:14Like I said, see, everybody is free to express their opinions at the right forum.
01:23You want to be the CM, you want somebody else to be the CM, please speak to the high command.
01:28There's no point in speaking to the media about it.
01:30The media is not going to decide who is going to be in charge of the party.
01:35The high command will decide that.
01:38And everybody is mature enough.
01:40Everybody is a public representative, elected, and they know where they should be speaking.
01:46So, it does not matter what anybody is saying individually.
01:51Yesterday, AACC president was very much clear.
01:53Sir, he clearly said that no such things should be discussed at any point of time, anywhere.
01:58So, there ends the matter, right?
02:01So, there ends the matter when the AACC president, the PCC president, and the chief minister have very clearly said that.
02:09Then, why is the media focusing so much on individual people's opinion?
02:16Because your party members are making this...
02:18See, like I said, everybody, there is no fire burning, there is no discontentment.
02:24Mr. Surjewala is here, he is our in charge.
02:26If he doesn't come and take stock of what is happening in the state, will Mr. Biel Santosh come?
02:34He is our in charge.
02:36He is our party man.
02:37We are answerable.
02:37A couple of months back, he also asked about...
02:40We all submitted our progress report.
02:43He is the one in charge of taking stock of situation in the states.
02:49We have AACC general secretaries for that only, no?
