00:00I have a real passion for empowering women. I want to make women feel good

00:04about themselves on the inside so they shine on the outside.

00:12My name is Laura Byrne and I am the owner of Laura Jane The Label.

00:17Laura Jane The Label is a women's clothing wear brand specialising in good quality,

00:23affordable wardrobe staples for everyday women. I think from a very young age I've

00:28always dreamed about having my own business but it was only in the more recent years that I kind of

00:34figured out how to bring that to life so I studied as a personal stylist and that kind of gave me a

00:40good insight into women's shopping habits and their wardrobes and what they were missing from

00:46their wardrobes and that's where I spotted the gap in the market. A friend of mine had told me about

00:53GoSucceed and we were having a chat about just the general day-to-day struggles as a business.

00:59She had told me about GoSucceed and she had reached out and got some mentoring so I got on to GoSucceed

01:06and told them the areas that I was struggling with in my business and they gave me some mentoring.

01:13It was amazing, it was really invaluable to the business that really helped me as well as that

01:19I availed of the workshops so both in person and online and I was also very successful then in

01:27getting the grant application. So with the GoSucceed grant I was able to exhibit at a large retail event

01:36down the country which is something that I didn't feel was open to me before reaching out to GoSucceed

01:43and it was really successful. I connected with lots of new businesses as well as reaching a whole new

01:50customer. I would definitely advise any entrepreneurs and even friends that are in business now I've

01:58urged them to sign up because it's such a good service you have that support when you are running

02:04a business on your own. It can be lonely and daunting but the support is there.
