00:00And we're now getting some breaking news.
00:02The accused in the Kerala conversion plot has been holed up in Uttar Pradesh.
00:07Now the cops say that accused Taj Mohamed was hiding in Prayagraj and Tad's aide made multiple calls to him and that is how the location was tracked.
00:18So accused, the Raksha's friend Taj Mohamed is on the radar of the Prayagraj police.
00:23And according to police sources, investigation of the Raksha's mobile phone has revealed that she has talked to Taj several times from Prayagraj till she reached Kerala.
00:34So the accused in the Kerala conversion plot has been found in Uttar Pradesh.
00:39The cops say that accused Taj Mohamed is hiding in Prayagraj and Tad's aide made multiple calls to him and that is how his location was tracked.
00:48The girl was dead.
01:18And my colleague Samarth Shrivastav is now joining us with more details on this.
01:43Samarth, the accused has been found hiding in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.
01:47So what can be expected next?
01:49And also tell us more about this entire case.
01:55See, the big nexus has been busted by the Prayagraj police as we never know that how many girls would have been trapped in this kind of situation
02:04where one particular mastermind firstly do friendship with one particular girl, especially from Dalit community,
02:12a minor who doesn't have much thinking about what could be better for her future.
02:17And then they take her to that particular location in Delhi and from Delhi they take her to Kerala.
02:24And when she reaches Kerala, she sees some unwanted people right there, some unidentified men because of which she got feared and then tries to flee from that particular location.
02:35So that's a bigger, bigger module which was being operated from Prayagraj to Kerala which has been busted by Prayagraj police.
02:43Though two arrestings have been made, Durkasha Bano and Mohamad Kaaf but still the main accused in this particular case, Taj Mohamad is still on the run at Prayagraj.
02:53Ganga Nagar DCP clearly saying that yes, his location has been found somewhere near Prayagraj.
02:59So police teams have been sent to catch Taj Mohamad who is being called the prime accused in this particular place.
03:06As per the police sources, when the mobile phone was checked of Bano, it was found that Turkasha Bano was continuously in touch with Taj Mohamad.
03:14Though Taj Mohamad is a native of Prayagraj, Fulpur.
03:17But he resides in Kerala and he moves to Kerala every month.
03:22So this is a big nexus which we see.
03:24Also DCP did not rule out any terror module connection in this particular theory because religious conversion is another fact in this particular story.
03:33Because the Dalit minor girl was said that they will give them mobile phones, they will give them some money just in the name of religious conversion.
03:42To which she agreed and happily moved with her friend Turkasha Bano.
03:46Yes, Turkasha Bano and that Dalit girl were a good friend in that particular village.
03:52But she never expected that her real friend in the name of Turkasha Bano will backstab her and lead him to trouble with people around, with groups around who may have some connection with the terror outfit.
04:05So that's a bigger, bigger mark out here.
04:07And though police investigation is on in this particular matter, two have been arrested while the hunt for Taj Mohamad is still on.
04:15Back to you.
04:16Alright, Samar, thank you for getting us all those details.
04:19We'll keep coming back to you for more updates on the story.
04:21As of now, we're shifting focus.
04:23We are getting some more breaking news.
04:24And this breaking news coming to the fore from the state of Karnataka.
04:35Open Chief Minister changed push in Karnataka by D.K. Shif Kumar Loyalist.
04:39He says that 100 MLAs are with us.
04:43The D.K. Shif Kumar Loyalist MLA also says that we want effective governance.
04:47So this means that all is not well despite the sadh-sadh message that was given out by Chief Minister Sidhra Maya and D.K. Shif Kumar himself yesterday.
04:58Although there was a buzz that the Chief Minister might change after which both of them addressed the media holding hands, giving out that all is well.
05:06But despite that, now D.K. Shif Kumar Loyalist MLA has come out and said that 100 MLAs are with them and that they want effective governance.
05:15So clearly, all is not well despite what is being said by the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
05:45I am very careful of that.
06:15And my colleague Saghai Raj is now joining us on this story.
06:24Saghai, despite the 7-7 message which was given out by the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister yesterday,
06:30holding hands, addressing the media, saying that all is well within the party,
06:33it seems like their loyalists are not on the same page.
06:38Absolutely, and if you notice that Karnataka Chief Minister Sriram Sidramaya
06:42had made it clear that all is well between him and D.K. Shukumar.
06:48And he has also said that no matter who says what, we are united.
06:52And now Iqbal Hussain, who has been a loyalist,
06:55and this is not the first time that he is making this kind of statement.
06:58Even in the past he has made a statement stating that D.K. Shukumar will become a Chief Minister in the month of November.
07:02Now he says that he has a support of 100 MLA and also says that for a better administration,
07:07you should go ahead and support D.K. Shukumar.
07:10And what we also get to learn is when he will be meeting Randeep Surgeywala today,
07:14he will be also trying to appraise the same issue with Randeep Surgeywala,
07:19stating that there should be a leadership change and D.K. Shukumar should be also given an opportunity.
07:24And he has also said that when D.K. Shukumar took over the KPCC post,
07:28the party was in bad shape.
07:29Now D.K. Shukumar has strengthened the party with the kind of administration,
07:34with the kind of work that he has done.
07:36And definitely he also deserves a chance according to him.
07:39All right, Sagai, thank you for those details and for that context.
07:43Let's also listen into what Chief Minister Sidra Maya said yesterday
07:46while addressing the rumours of leadership change in the state.
07:49And Sagai Raj continues to stay with us.
08:14So, Sagai, despite the leadership claiming that all is well within the party,
08:19the MLAs quite are not satisfied with the statements coming in
08:23and the MLAs are demanding change of the leadership in the state of Karnataka.
08:28Absolutely. And if you notice that the few leaders are openly talking about that,
08:33there are a few loyalists of Sidra Maya who are also saying that Sidra Maya will complete
08:38five years of term.
08:40And amidst all this speculation,
08:42Ranji Subhijawala will be meeting more MLAs today,
08:45close to 20 to 25 MLAs he met yesterday.
08:49And he has spoken to them.
08:51And again, he will be speaking to a few of the MLAs today in Bengaluru.
08:56Also, Sagai, help us understand why are the MLAs unhappy with Sidra Maya's rule in the state?
09:04There are factions within Congress.
09:06There is a faction of DK Shukumar and there is a faction of Sidra Maya.
09:10And ever since the Karnataka Congress came to power in the state,
09:14there are leaders who are making these kind of controversial statements,
09:17especially when it comes to power sharing.
09:19There are loyalists of Sidra Maya who claim that Sidra Maya will complete five years,
09:24whereas the loyalists of DK Shukumar claim that after two and a half years,
09:28Sidra Maya will make a way for DK Shukumar.
09:31And even if you notice the statement of Sidra Maya,
09:33he always says that Congress party will complete five years.
09:36He never says that Sidra Maya will complete five years.
09:38When specifically questions asked on Sidra Maya will complete five years,
09:42he has retweeted stating that only Congress party will complete five years in the state of Karnataka.
09:47So, it seems that there is an agreement between them,
09:50but nothing in the open or nothing on the record which has been spoken by the top leaders.
09:55Right, Sagai, do stay with us.
09:57We are getting some more inputs on this particular story.
10:00Now, the war over who is the high command in Congress continues.
10:15Congress President Malik Arjun Kharge says high command will decide.
10:19Now, the BJP asked, is Congress high command a ghost?
10:22So, Kharge, Kharge's son, Priyank Kharge said that in Congress, high command is not a one-man show.
10:31So, after Malik Arjun Kharge's statement that the Congress high command will decide on the leadership change in the state of Karnataka,
10:37now questions are being raised by the BJP that is Congress high command a ghost?
10:42Because Malik Arjun Kharge himself is the Congress chief,
10:46to which Priyank Kharge has now replied saying that in Congress, high command is not a one-man show.
11:12But unnecessarily, one should not create problems.
11:18My colleague, Sagai Raj continues to stay with us.
11:20Sagai, so, Amit, the buzz over leadership change in the state.
11:23Another controversy that has now erupted is over who is the high command in the Congress party,
11:28with Malik Arjun Kharge himself saying that the high command will decide, despite being the Congress chief.
11:35Absolutely, AICC chief Malik Arjun Kharge has categorically mentioned it is the high command which will take a decision.
11:40If at all, if there are changes in leadership in the state of Karnataka.
11:45And if you notice that this is not the first time they are making this kind of statement.
11:47Even Nandip Surajewala has stated that nobody should make any kind of public statement to the media,
11:52despite these kind of dictates which have been issued by AICC.
11:58But still, the leaders are in open and making this kind of statement, which is an embarrassment to the party.
12:03But still, they have not learned any lessons, whether it is ministers or MLAs.
12:07They are making the public statement in the leadership change, despite instructions and circular which has been issued by AICC.
12:16All right, Sagai, thank you for getting us those details.
12:19We'll keep coming back to you for more updates on this story.
12:22As of now, we're shifting focus.
12:23The outrage continues to pore over Kolkata campus rape horror.
12:31Custody of all the accused ends today.
12:33Shocking revelations have emerged in a SIT probe in the Kolkata rape case.
12:38An August 2024 letter, now accessed by India Today, reveals governing body of South Calcutta Law College
12:44approved Monajit's appointment as the office staff member temporarily.
12:48Not only this, two co-accused in the case, Zayb and Pramit, were also known to harass girls on the campus.
12:55They allegedly recorded videos of harassment and used it to blackmail the women.
13:00The SIT probe continues.
13:02Medical examination of the victim and the accused have also been completed.
13:05In fact, forensic examination of the crime scene has also been completed.
13:10BJP fact-finding committee alleges systematic pattern of crimes against women in Bengal
13:15and also reiterated claim that TMC was shielding the key accused, Monajit, in this case.
13:21Meanwhile, Bengal government lashed out at the TMC for politicizing a sensitive matter.
13:26They also claimed accused was long ago disowned by the party.
13:30The crime against women and the police was not completed.

14:54The people who are being in the past, they get protected,
14:57the whole way of governance has failed.

16:33And we'll now tell you about the Kolkata rape patronage shocker.
16:50Now, the law college governing body lobbied for the rapist Monajeet Mishra, who's the prime accused in this case.
16:56Trinamool MLA, Ashok Kumar, they chairs that governing body and they lobbied for this Monajeet Mishra.
17:04Now, law college body wrote to vice principal for Monajeet and the rapist Monajeet was hired as college office staffer.
17:12And this hiring was done despite multiple sex assault charges on Monajeet Mishra.
17:18My colleague Anupam Mishra is now joining us with more details on this.
17:22Anupam, give us the latest details as far as the probe in this matter is concerned.
17:26We're learning that the custody of all the accused is ending today.
17:30What next?
17:32Well, you know that probe is ongoing and a special investigation team has been constituted to investigate the matter.
17:41And the police custody is over and they will have to be introduced in Alipur Port.
17:47So, the investigation is ongoing. According to investigating agency Kolkata Police, the investigation is on track.
17:55On the other hand, state government is also telling that we have already arrested the accused.
18:00We have constituted a special investigation team and this investigation is on track.
18:06But this whole thing has a huge political showdown ongoing in West Bengal at present.
18:12BJP is accusing that the accused has a history of crime and that history of crime has been overlooked and he has been promoted.
18:23He has been given chance.
18:24So, these are the things which are coming up at present.
18:26Huge political showdown ongoing between TNP and BJP.
18:31Both are blaming each other. BJP fact-finding team, they have seen that they have come here and they wanted to meet the victim.
18:37But that was denied by Kolkata Police.
18:39All right.
18:40They're alleging that police is somehow hiding something.
18:44That is the allegation of BJP on the other hand.
18:47All right, Anupam. Thank you for getting us those details.
18:50We'll keep coming back to you for more updates on the story that we're tracking.
18:53Meanwhile, India, today's Rajdeep Sardisai spoke with Bengal Minister Shashi Panja on the Kolkata rape horror and also the politics that has been playing around the case.
19:01Listen in.
19:04Last year, it was RG Kar in Kolkata government hospital where a rape and a murder of the young woman takes place.
19:11This year, it is another horrific rape that takes place inside a government law campus.
19:18Would you concede that this is hugely embarrassing for a government run by a woman chief minister?
19:25Dare I say any chief minister, but particularly a woman chief minister in a state like West Bengal?
19:29Are you all?
19:30Yes, of course, we are very aggrieved about this and it's really heartbreaking.
19:41It's painful and of course we are not putting anything, we are not defending ourselves.
19:47It is just that we are putting, trying to put things on record and it's good that Kolkata police swung into action.
19:54It was swift and decisive and within 12 hours of receiving the complaint, they could be nabbed and they are in police custody.
20:03The investigation is on. As of now, almost four of them have been arrested and the nine-member SIT has been formed and we are extremely serious about this.
20:13But ma'am, are you aggrieved or embarrassed? Just a minute ma'am.
20:17Are you aggrieved or embarrassed at the end of the day?
20:21I mean, at the end of the day, here is a case in this particular instance where the individual who is the main accused, Monojeet Mishra, is someone who was a member of your Trinamul Chhatra Parishat.
20:33There are photographs of him with your leaders. There are posters of him in the college, one of which also had Abhishek Banerjee and Mamata Banerjee in the background while he is addressing students.
20:42So here is someone whom the BJP is saying is directly connected, was protected in a way by the Trinamul and therefore could carry out an act like this with impunity inside a college campus.
20:52No, no, there was also a time in 2018 when he was expelled and even if you see the last 2022 committee, because there have been no elections even after that.
21:05In fact, even during COVID and after, even the 2022 committee, which was just a temporary committee, does not have his name on it.
21:14Nevertheless, he has continued to, you know, brazenly say that he was associated with Trinamul Congress, which I think is one of the fallout or I would say, you know, people try to associate themselves with the ruling party.
21:29We are absolutely disgusted with him. And I think we have we have disowned him long time back and he was not in the committee.
21:39He should.
21:41And Amit vows a fair probe blame game politics over the Kolkata student rape horror continues.
21:46The victim awaits justice. And now the probe has revealed that the attack was premeditated and planned out by the accused who have a history of sexual assault.
21:56More on this in our next report.
21:57The shocking assault and rape of a student inside a government law college in Kolkata has left the nation shocked and enraged.
22:18Now the nine-member SIT probe has revealed chilling details of the assault.
22:23Police sources claim the survivor was allegedly targeted by the three suspects from the day of admission and plotted to assault her.
22:34The accused Manojit Mishra, Prateem Mukherjee and Zaid Ahmed have a history of sexually harassing female students.
22:41They allegedly recorded their attacks on mobile phones and used them to blackmail their victims.
22:48The police are now stepping up efforts to collect the evidence.
22:51They have carried out searches at the residences of Prateem Mukherjee and Zaid Ahmed in an attempt to locate the videos.
22:58The police suspect the videos have been shared with others.
23:03The investigator have seized key evidence including CCTV of the survivor being dragged to the guard room.
23:10Accused Manojit Mishra's clothes, hair strands and DNA samples that she fought against a rapist.
23:16The hockey stick used in the attack and her medical report.
23:19The police has done or taken steps, everything on time.
23:26Those three guys have been nabbed and investigation is on.
23:29The victim statements have been taken.
23:31The mobiles have been seized.
23:33There is a nine-member SIT team which has been formed.
23:36So there is no escape.
23:39The National Commission for Women has raised concerns over the investigation and claims their members were denied access to the survivor and the crime scene.
23:49The crime scene is a crime scene where the girl gang raped her.
23:55Along with that place, there is a college, an institution, a very large place, a very small place.
24:02There is a seven-study building on the stairs.
24:06There are all the accesses under lock and key.
24:10Now we can't go anywhere.
24:11You can see the cable here and see how many people have come.
24:13There is only accesses for many people.
24:15Everyone has called me that the commissioner came and saw me.
24:17So this is not the right thing.
24:21What is the benefit of all the people who want to hide, I don't know.
24:25As the investigation continues, the question remains, is India failing to protect its women?
24:31And starting today, Delhi government will start one of its biggest campaigns to fight air pollution by acting against the old vehicles on the roads.
24:48Vehicles that have exceeded the lifespan of 10 years for diesel vehicles and 15 years for the petrol ones will not be fuelled.
24:55In a major step to curb the vehicular pollution, petrol pumps across Delhi will not provide fuel to end-of-life vehicles starting from today.
25:04This is according to the directions of the Commission for Air Quality Management with the Transport Department, along with the Delhi Police and also the traffic personnel.
25:13Now the traffic personnel will have the power to impound the vehicles or issue a chalan to the owner of the end-of-life vehicles.
25:20Delhi government issued a SOP for enforcing the ban on the refueling.
25:25And the SOP states that all petrol pumps must maintain a log, either manual or digital, of all the denied fuel transactions involving such vehicles.
25:35Now automated camera systems will work at the fueling stations to capture and also display the registration details of the vehicle in real time.
25:43Starting today, vehicles that are older, especially diesel ones older than 10 years and petrol vehicles as well that are older will not be given petrol at petrol stations within the Delhi region.
25:58We are standing at a petrol pump and flexors have been put up at various places that fuel will not be dispensed to the end-of-life vehicles,
26:06that is 15 years and above for petrol vehicles and 10 years for old diesel vehicles.
26:12The protocol is such that if a vehicle comes here, it will be detected by an automated camera which has been installed at every petrol pump.
26:22Inside there is a machine that will detect the age of that particular vehicle.
26:27And of course, at the petrol pumps, instructions have been given clearly to those manning these stations that there is no chance that any petrol should be dispensed to do these kind of vehicles.
26:42Of course, of course, this notice that is there in order comes from the CAQM looking at air quality and pollution that has been caused in the Delhi and the national capital.
26:55Of course, right now, this law is only implemented in Delhi and will be expanded to the NCR regions later.
27:03But very crucial for those who are still keeping these old vehicles because once they come here and are detected at petrol pumps, they will be directly sent in for scrapping.
27:15And the traffic police as well has been told to maintain vigilance at a lot of petrol stations to ensure strict implementation of this particular order.
27:26With Lokindra Pandey, Miland Sharma in Delhi for India today.
27:29With Lokindra Pandey, Miland Sharma in Delhi for India today.
27:29It is very petite.
27:31It is very petite time.
27:32It is very petite.
27:33It is 20 years in the petrol, CNG and petrol.
27:35It is 15 years ago.
27:37It is 15 years later.
27:37Because a man has a capacity to use.
27:41So many people have not yet.
27:43We have got a vehicle managed and we will have to manage the pena.
27:46We will have to give the car over the course.
27:48For example, this is the decision.
27:49This is so much load, so much load.
27:53There are some steps in which it will reduce the reservoir.
27:57Otherwise, people believe it.
27:59It's a practical life.
28:01Every person thinks they're going to go.
28:04On the front of the camera there is a big dependency on the petrol pump.
28:15We also see the liability that in Delhi,
28:19if this is going to start the implementation,
28:22it doesn't matter.
28:24It doesn't matter.
28:25It doesn't matter.
28:26It doesn't matter.
28:27The government is trying to be able to do things.
28:33We are also working on this mission.
28:36Let's see what we are working on.
28:39In 1 July,
28:40all of the petrol and diesel pumps in Delhi,
28:44the transport department,
28:46MCD,
28:48police,
28:49and any enforcement agency
28:51will be available.
28:53They will detect the end of life vehicles,
28:55they will impound,
28:57they will take the pit.
28:58It's important that we check the pollution of Delhi,
29:01and the end of life,
29:03which we have issued guidelines for many days,
29:06now we will be able to implement it.
29:08And in this,
29:09we have asked for all the dealers,
29:11we have asked for all the dealers,
29:12and they have given us
29:13that all the stakeholders
29:14will be able to help us with this moment.
29:17And with the people of Delhi,
29:19they will also be able to help us with this moment.
29:22These are all the petrol pumps,
29:24as I mentioned before.
29:25They have two types of petrol pumps,
29:27which are 24 by 7,
29:29and some of the things
29:30that are in the morning,
29:31which are in the morning,
29:32which are in the morning,
29:33and will be able to go to the night.
29:35They have all the details,
29:36and there are local police,
29:38traffic police,
29:39transport,
29:40and all the enforcement agencies.
29:42They will remain in their teams.
29:44If there is a situation like this,
29:46then they will be able to support the PCR.
29:48So,
29:49our concern is that
29:51that someone will not make such a state
29:53and will continue to work with this.
29:55We have done a lot of work.
29:57The direction we have taken in 1989,
30:00during the CAQM,
30:02this direction is actually going to
30:04really accelerate the work around that.
30:07And this is coupled with the system
30:10that has been put in place by the Delhi government,
30:13at all the fuel stations,
30:15which will allow the identification of
30:17end-of-life vehicles,
30:18and the consequence impoundment and
30:21scrapping of those vehicles,
30:22that will help us to overall clean the air in Delhi,
30:26and get rid of the end-of-life vehicles.
30:30And my colleague,
30:32Milind Sharma is now joining us with more details.
30:34Milind,
30:35how is this drive against old vehicles going on so far,
30:38and how is the public response to this drive?
30:43Well,
30:44initially,
30:45the drive seems to be picking up in Delhi very smoothly,
30:49because we have deployment of the Delhi traffic police,
30:52as well as,
30:53there are notices that have been put up at the police,
30:56at the patrol stations,
30:57I'm sorry.
30:58And then, of course,
30:59all the cars that are coming in here
31:01seem to be of a fairly,
31:03you know,
31:04less than 15 years of age,
31:05of course,
31:06there is a lot of thought behind why people are,
31:10you know,
31:11bringing their cars out,
31:13you know,
31:14because, of course,
31:15the government wants that congestion should be less,
31:17but let me just ask people if they are okay with it.
31:19Sir,
31:20this rule has happened in July 1st,
31:21that they will not fuel the diesel cars from 15 years,
31:23from 15 years,
31:24from 10 years,
31:25from 10 years,
31:26from diesel cars.
31:27What do you think about this rule?
31:29Is this rule good for Delhi?
31:30I think it's a good rule,
31:31because,
31:32in Delhi,
31:33the pollution is increasing,
31:35so,
31:36I think this will curve the pollution levels quite down,
31:40and,
31:41I also believe that,
31:43for many of our old cars,
31:45for security reasons,
31:46there are many of these cars,
31:48so,
31:49this can help in managing the security and pollution.
31:52Okay.
31:53That's a good thought,
31:54and,
31:55this is the kind of response that we are getting from various quarters at the moment,
31:58because the people who are aware of the fact that Delhi is congested,
32:02there's a lot of pollution in the national capital,
32:05the implementation in the national capital seems to be picking up,
32:08but,
32:09of course,
32:10the real trouble in the implementation could be near the border areas,
32:14you know,
32:15which are in the NCR region,
32:17because this is a rule that's currently in Delhi,
32:19we've checked with the authorities,
32:21even cars that are going to come from outside Delhi,
32:23into the national capital,
32:25are going to be subjected to this rule,
32:27and they're going to be sent for scrapping.
32:29Of course,
32:30this rule is not currently in place in areas outside of the Delhi region,
32:35so,
32:36there is a talk,
32:37you know,
32:38at the level of the government,
32:39wherein they will plan to implement these in,
32:42you know,
32:43districts outside of Delhi,
32:44till Sonipat as well,
32:46but that has not been put in place at the moment,
32:48and it's a pilot that Delhi is trying out right now,
32:51because,
32:52you know,
32:53there are more than 1.2 crore total number of cars,
32:56that are in Delhi region,
32:58and 62 lakh out of those are EOL cars,
33:02which is a huge percentage of old vehicles in the national capital.
33:05Absolutely,
33:06Milind,
33:07thank you so much for getting us all those details,
33:08on this drive by the Delhi government,
33:10against old vehicles in the national capital.
33:12And we're now getting some breaking news,
33:15external affairs minister,
33:16S.J. Shankar bust sinister park treachery,
33:19external affairs minister says,
33:20that the Behelgaam attack,
33:22was a part of Pakistan's economic warfare,
33:25and that Pakistan tried to hit Jammu and Kashmir's economy,
33:29and also the tourism.
33:32In fact,
33:33he also said that India called the park nuke blackmail,
33:37and Jai Shankar said that India's,
33:40that India has sent out a strong enough is enough message.
33:44Now,
33:45this is India's big assertion before the quad meeting in Washington DC,
33:49as Jai Shankar has said,
33:51that India won't tolerate terrorism anymore,
33:53and that the Behelgaam attack,
33:55was a Pakistan economic warfare,
33:57and it tried to hit the Jammu and Kashmir economy,
34:00as well as the tourism.
34:01Let's listen in.
34:04The National Security Council,
34:06issued a strong condemnation,
34:08of a particularly horrific act of terrorism,
34:11in Thailand.
34:12It demanded,
34:14that its perpetrators be held accountable,
34:17and brought to justice.
34:19We have since seen that happen.
34:22What that response underlines,
34:24is a larger significance,
34:26of the message,
34:28of zero tolerance,
34:29for terrorism.
34:31The world must come together,
34:33on some basic concepts,
34:36no impunity to terrorists,
34:38no treating them as proxies,
34:41and no yielding,
34:42to nuclear blackmail.
34:44Any state sponsorship,
34:46must be exposed,
34:47and must be counted.
34:49And India Today Global's,
34:52Pranay Upadhyay,
34:53is now joining us,
34:54with more details.
34:55Pranay,
34:56External Affairs Minister,
34:57S.J. Shankar,
34:58has clearly,
34:59reiterated,
35:00India's,
35:01zero tolerance stand,
35:02against terrorism,
35:03and has in fact,
35:04also called out,
35:05the Pakistan nuke,
35:06blackmail,
35:07in fact stated,
35:08that the attack,
35:09in Pahlgaam,
35:10was a bid,
35:11to hit the Jammu,
35:12and Kashmir economy,
35:13and tourism.
35:14If you had,
35:16External Affairs Minister,
35:17Dr. S.J. Shankar,
35:18who is in the United States,
35:19on a very important,
35:20and a significant visit,
35:21because,
35:22you know,
35:23after Pahlgaam terror attack,
35:25and Operation Sindhu,
35:26this is the first,
35:27high-level contact,
35:28a direct contact,
35:29between,
35:30the US Trump administration,
35:31and,
35:32and the government of India.
35:33External Affairs Minister,
35:34has made this message,
35:35very clear,
35:36because,
35:37he started his visit,
35:38with inauguration,
35:39of,
35:40of an exhibition,
35:41being organized,
35:42by the Indian Mission,
35:43in the United States,
35:44which is,
35:45titled,
35:46as the human cost,
35:47of terrorism.
35:48And,
35:49you know,
35:50Anjali,
35:51that India,
35:52has been raising,
35:53this issue,
35:54of terrorism,
35:55on the forum,
35:56of United Nations,
35:57Security Council,
35:58United Nations,
35:59for many years.
36:00And India,
36:01is the first country,
36:02who has demanded,
36:03that there should be,
36:04a unified response,
36:05to the menace,
36:06of terrorism,
36:07with the comprehensive,
36:08convention,
36:09of international terrorism.
36:10So,
36:11considering,
36:12the stance of India,
36:13global,
36:14you know,
36:15global audience,
36:16and people,
36:17around the world,
36:18that there should be,
36:19a unified response,
36:20there should not be,
36:21a discrimination,
36:22or,
36:23of policy,
36:24as far as,
36:25dealing with terrorism,
36:26is concerned.
36:27you heard him,
36:28clearly,
36:29stating that,
36:30it was,
36:31an economic warfare,
36:32to disturb,
36:33and destabilize,
36:34the state of Jammu,
36:35and Kashmir,
36:36to hurt,
36:37the economic interest,
36:38because,
36:39never been,
36:40the tourists,
36:41been targeted,
36:42at the time,
36:43the innocent tourists,
36:44were murdered,
36:45they were killed,
36:46and this,
36:47linear,
36:48act of terrorism,
36:49need to be called out,
36:50and,
36:51those who have,
36:52been harboring terrorists,
36:53need to be called out.
36:54So, this is a clear message,
36:55he has,
36:56sent out,
36:57ahead of his,
36:58important meeting,
36:59on the Quad Forum,
37:00which is being hosted by,
37:01Quad Foreign Minister's meeting,
37:02which is being hosted,
37:03by the United States,
37:04and also,
37:05he will,
37:06also be holding,
37:07a bilateral meeting,
37:08with the US Secretary of State,
37:09Marco Rubio.
37:10Absolutely, Pranay,
37:11thank you so much,
37:12for getting us,
37:13all those details,
37:14and for that context,
37:15to what external affairs minister,
37:16S Jaisankar said.
37:24And,
37:26we're now getting,
37:27some more breaking news,
37:28actor Nasiruddin Shah,
37:29deletes a post,
37:30on Diljeet Dosanj,
37:31he deletes the controversial post,
37:33in which he,
37:34targeted the BJP,
37:36he took,
37:37the Jumla party jibe,
37:38at the BJP,
37:39over Diljeet Dosanj,
37:40and,
37:41now it's a U-turn,
37:42by Nasiruddin Shah,
37:43after giving,
37:44a political colour,
37:45to the controversy,
37:46surrounding,
37:47the movie,
37:48Sardarji 3,
37:49that stars,
37:50Diljeet Dosanj,
37:51with Pakistani actress,
37:52Hania Amir.
37:53My colleague,
37:54Sana,
37:55is now with us,
37:56with more details on this.
37:57Sana,
37:58why did Nasiruddin Shah,
37:59take this U-turn,
38:00delete the controversial post,
38:01was it because,
38:02of the backlash,
38:03that he got?
38:05As of now,
38:06it's only speculations,
38:07definitely,
38:08but,
38:09he deleted the post,
38:10quite late at night,
38:11it could be,
38:12the backlash,
38:13and how everyone,
38:14was talking about,
38:15how Nasiruddin,
38:16was the one,
38:17who actually,
38:18gave a political colour,
38:19to this controversy,
38:20I think he may have,
38:21this can also,
38:22be a speculation,
38:23that he may have realised,
38:24that he just,
38:25went a little overboard,
38:26with his,
38:27words,
38:28and that is the reason,
38:29he decided,
38:30to delete it.
38:31Definitely,
38:32apart from,
38:33backlash,
38:34and everyone,
38:35was talking about it,
38:36they just made,
38:37much more news,
38:38because of the words,
38:39that he used,
38:40of course,
38:41the Jumla party,
38:42that he mentioned,
38:43the Jumla party,
38:44the Jumla party,
38:45and,
38:46the Jumla party,
38:47the Jumla party,
38:49and,
38:50the Jumla party,
38:51the Jumla party,
38:52was also used by him,
38:53and these words,
38:54kind of,
38:55just received,
38:56much more backlash,
38:57than him,
38:58just supporting,
38:59Diljeet,
39:00in this controversy,
39:01against,
39:02when it comes,
39:03to this post,
39:04and,
39:05probably,
39:06he realised,
39:07that he just,
39:08went a little,
39:09far ahead,
39:10with this,
39:11words,
39:12that he used,
39:13in this,
39:14in his post,
39:15on social media,
39:16of course,
39:17him supporting Diljeet,
39:18there are other people,
39:19also supporting Diljeet,
39:20but,
39:21nobody had given,
39:22the political colour,
39:23to this controversy,
39:24and,
39:25we are waiting for,
39:26to kind of,
39:27share an official statement,
39:28although,
39:29that's unlikely,
39:30the post,
39:31after using,
39:32such strong words,
39:33in support,
39:34of Diljeet Dosanj,
39:35and of course,
39:36calling out,
39:37the BJP,
39:38through his post.
39:39Right,
39:40Sana,
39:41thank you so much,
39:42for those details,
39:43and for that context,
39:44so the storm,
39:45over Diljeet Dosanj's film,
39:46Sardarji 3,
39:47refuses to die down,
39:48amid outrage,
39:49over including,
39:50Pakistani actress,
39:51Hania Aamir,
39:52in the film,
39:53veteran actor,
39:54Nasiruddin Shah,
39:55came out,
39:56in Diljeet support,
39:57he clarified,
39:58that Diljeet,
39:59wasn't responsible,
40:00his disapproval,
40:01of restricting,
40:02personal interactions,
40:03between India,
40:04and Pakistan,
40:05more on this,
40:06in our next report.
40:07India's most beloved singer,
40:09Diljeet Dosanj,
40:10who was hailed,
40:11as a global star,
40:12a few months ago,
40:13is now at the centre,
40:14of a big controversy,
40:15back home.
40:16When Sardarji 3's trailer,
40:17was launched,
40:18fans expected,
40:19laughs and thrills,
40:20But all hell broke loose,
40:21as they spotted,
40:23Pakistani actor,
40:24Hani Aamir,
40:25in the film.
40:26Hani Aamir,
40:27in the film.
40:29in the film.
40:30Due to severe backlash,
40:31filmmakers decided,
40:32to not release,
40:33Sardarji 3 in India.
40:34But the storm,
40:35continues to intensify.
40:36When Sardarji 3's trailer,
40:37when Sardarji 3's trailer,
40:38was launched,
40:39fans expected,
40:40laughs and thrills.
40:45But all hell,
40:46broke loose,
40:47as they spotted,
40:48Pakistani actor,
40:49Hani Aamir,
40:50in the film.
40:54Due to severe backlash,
40:56filmmakers decided,
40:57to not release,
40:58Sardarji 3 in India.
41:00But the storm,
41:01continues to intensify.
41:03Amid non-stop outrage,
41:07veteran actor,
41:08Naseeruddin Shah,
41:09came out,
41:10in Diljeet's support.
41:12This came amid,
41:13strong criticism,
41:14by several,
41:15Bollywood celebrities,
41:16who asked Diljeet,
41:18to apologize publicly.
41:33Union Minister,
41:34Ravni Bittu,
41:35also came out,
41:36in Diljeet's support.
41:37Who claims,
41:38that Diljeet,
41:39can't be discredited,
41:40for all his work,
41:41because of just one movie.
41:42Because of just one movie.
41:45Union Minister,
41:46Ravni Bittu,
41:47also came out,
41:48in Diljeet's support.
41:49Who claims,
41:50that Diljeet,
41:51can't be discredited,
41:52for all his work,
41:53because of just one movie.
41:55Meanwhile,
42:05a Pakistan-based theatre,
42:07shared video,
42:08of packed shows,
42:09of Sardarji III.
42:10Diljeet Dosanj,
42:11reposted the video,
42:12on his Instagram,
42:13and thanked the fans,
42:14for overwhelming support.
42:15According to reports,
42:16the film is doing well,
42:17globally,
42:18and has already earned,
42:1918 crore rupees.
42:20Bureau Report,
42:21India Today.
42:50Outrage,
42:53over Tamil Nadu,
42:54custodial murder.
42:55BJP now,
42:56rights to human rights,
42:57body over the death.
42:58BJP appeals,
42:59for inquiry,
43:00in the Tamil Nadu,
43:01custodial murder.
43:02Meanwhile,
43:03TVK chief,
43:04Vijay,
43:05seeks SIT,
43:06to probe the death.
43:07He says,
43:08immoral,
43:09inhuman police department,
43:10is working,
43:11under M.K. Stalin.
43:12Remember,
43:13the autopsy report,
43:14shows multiple wounds,
43:15on Ajit's body,
43:16although the cops,
43:17claimed,
43:18in the FIR,
43:19that he died,
43:20due to epilepsy.
43:21But the autopsy report,
43:22has stated,
43:23that there were,
43:24multiple wounds,
43:25found on Ajit's body.
43:29So there's this,
43:30outrage,
43:31over Tamil Nadu,
43:32custodial murder,
43:33of Ajit.
43:34Now BJP,
43:35has written,
43:36to human rights,
43:37body over the death.
43:38It has appealed,
43:39for inquiry,
43:40in this particular case.
43:41On the other hand,
43:42TVK chief,
43:43Vijay,
43:44has sought,
43:45SIT,
43:46to probe the death.
43:47My colleague,
43:48is also,
43:49brewing over,
43:50the death,
43:51of Ajit,
43:52in the,
43:53custody,
43:54of the police.
43:55Now BJP,
43:56has written,
43:57to human rights,
43:58body,
43:59TVK chief,
44:00Vijay,
44:01is demanding,
44:02SIT probe,
44:03in this matter.
44:04In fact,
44:05the BJP,
44:06state chief,
44:07had written,
44:08to the national,
44:09human rights commission,
44:10today,
44:11appealing,
44:12for an inquiry,
44:13into the,
44:14custodial killing,
44:15also,
44:16sent out,
44:17his public statement,
44:18on this matter,
44:19calling this,
44:20entire incident,
44:21as utterly,
44:22inhumane.
44:23Remember,
44:24every time,
44:25when,
44:26this kind of incident,
44:27happened,
44:28there's either,
44:29a frequent transfer,
44:30or token suspensions,
44:31and then,
44:32the kind of,
44:33custodian,
44:34you know,
44:35custodial killings,
44:36they continue.
44:37Every time,
44:38this happens,
44:39the case,
44:40was handed over,
44:41to a special team,
44:42and yet,
44:43the police,
44:44torture,
44:45police brutality,
44:46and the killing,
44:47in custody,
44:48just continues.
44:49In fact,
44:50just a few months back,
44:51the Madras High Court,
44:52had also slammed,
44:53the police department,
44:54in Tamil Nadu,
44:55by questioning them,
44:56why is it,
44:57that the police toilets,
44:58are slippery,
44:59only for the accused,
45:00who are in custody,
45:01and not for the police officers.
45:02Because,
45:03every time,
45:04when there was a court hearing,
45:05the accused in question,
45:06they used to either,
45:07come with a broken limb,
45:08or a fractured hand,
45:09that used to be the case,
45:10and that led,
45:11the Madras High Court,
45:12to slam the entire,
45:13police department,
45:14questioning,
45:15as to,
45:16why is it,
45:17that the police department,
45:18toilets were slippery,
45:19only for the accused,
45:20and not for the police.
45:21And now,
45:22we have,
45:23yet again,
45:24another instance,
45:25of police brutality,
45:26where this death,
45:27is,
45:28you know,
45:29caused,
45:30because of,
45:31an epileptic episode.
45:32But,
45:33you know,
45:34the entire world knows,
45:35that it's because of,
45:36custodial torture,
45:37why Hadjit Kumar,
45:38had lost his life.
45:39Right,

45:45for more updates,
45:46as of now,
45:47we're shifting focus.
45:48It's a big setback,
45:49for the BJP,
45:50in the state of Telangana.
45:51Controversial leader,
45:52T. Raja,
45:53has resigned,
45:54from the party,
45:55expressing,
45:56strong disappointment,
45:57over state leadership.
45:58In his resignation letter,
45:59to the current,
46:00Telangana BJP chief,
46:01G. Kishan Reddy,
46:02the Gosha Mahal,
46:03MLA,
46:04has lodged,
46:05strong protest,
46:06after several reports,
46:07claimed,
46:08chosen,
46:09and Ramchandar Rao,
46:10as the next,
46:11state chief.
46:12Raja has claimed,
46:13that the decision,
46:14to make Ramchandar,
46:15as the new state boss,
46:16has come as,
46:17a shock,
46:18to not just him,
46:19but also,
46:20to the lacks,
46:21of BJP workers.
46:22leaders,
46:23self-interest,
46:24trumps,
46:25BJP's cause,
46:26and that,
46:27the party,
46:28needs a strong,
46:29leadership,
46:30in the state.
46:31Now,
46:3266 year old,
46:33Ramchandar Rao,
46:34is a high court lawyer,
46:35and also,
46:36a former,
46:37Tilangana,
46:38from the year,
46:392015,
46:40to 2021.
46:41He has been associated,
46:42with the BJP,
46:43for over four decades,
46:44and also,
46:45headed BJP's,
46:46Hyderabad unit,
46:47in the past.
46:48Now,
46:49it is being said,
46:50that the central,
46:51elected,
46:52unanimously,
46:53today.
46:54We are doing,
46:55like this,
46:56the president,
46:57do not do any work,
46:59do not do any work,
47:00do not do any work,
47:01do not do any work,
47:02we say,
47:03that the president,
47:04will do any work,
47:05sit down, sit down, sit down,
47:06sit down, sit down,
47:07sit down, sit down.
47:08If you want to change,
47:09then,
47:10no worker,
47:11will not do any work.
47:12It is also,
47:13that's why,
47:14we have done today's party.
47:15But,
47:16one thing is,
47:17first,
47:18stay in the BJP party,
47:19or not,
47:20our men and women,
47:22we will continue to become a good,
47:23and we will continue to stay during the time.
47:25At that time,
47:26we will continue to stay in the party.
47:28Without the party,
47:29we will continue to stay in the JNTA.
47:30We will continue to stay in JNTA.
47:31We will continue to stay in JNTA.
47:32It's a big setback for the BJP in the state of
48:02Tilangana as T. Raja has resigned from the party, expressing strong disappointment
48:07over the state leadership.
48:08Now, in his resignation letter to the current Tilangana BJP chief, G. Kishan Reddy, the
48:13MLA has lodged strong protest over several reports claiming that Anram Chandra Rao will
48:18be the next state chief.
48:20In fact, my colleague Abdul Bashir is now joining us with more details on this.
48:24Abdul, setback for the BJP in the state of Tilangana.
48:27How is the exit of T. Raja going to impact the party in the state?
48:37Well, T. Raja Singh, who is an MLA from Ghoshamal, he has backed this seat earlier in the previous
48:44term when BJP was not having any representative from the legislative assembly here.
48:49He was a lone representative here.
48:51That is what his claim is, that he is three times MLA.
48:54And when the party has several other MLAs and MPs who are capable of being assigned for the
49:04leadership of the state, why did the party choose a person like Anram Chandra Rao is what
49:10he is claiming.
49:11But when we talk about Anram Chandra Rao, he has been an active politician, he has been
49:18a former MLC and after the state leadership support is what he filed his nomination yesterday
49:25between 2 to 4 p.m.
49:27And now he is set to become the new president of the Tilangana Pradesh Bhatichanta Party.
49:36So, here what is happening is that T. Raja Singh claims that he must also have been given
49:43a chance or the other MLAs or MPs because BJP needs a proper growth.
49:48And he also stated that if the party would have given him a chance, he would work like
49:53Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh.
49:55So, this is what he said.
49:56So, particularly disappointed over the leadership, he sent his resignation to the state BJP chief,
50:04G-Kishan ready.
50:06Alright, Abdul, thank you for getting us those details on T. Raja's resignation from the
50:11Telangana BJP.
50:13And with that, we are now shifting our focus.
50:17It was the wedding the internet couldn't stop buzzing about.
50:20Jeff Bezos tied the knot in Venice, but it was Lauren Shantzis who truly stole the spotlight.
50:26From vintage McQueen to custom Versace, the bride turned every moment into a fashion headline.
50:32And yes, even the pajama party came with a touch of red carpet glam.
50:36I'll leave you with this report.
50:38Thanks for watching.
50:39After weeks of buzz, backlash and media frenzy, the most anticipated wedding of the season
50:58finally took place this Saturday.
51:00Billionaire Jeff Bezos tied the knot with long-time partner Lauren Sanchez in a glamorous celebration
51:06in Venice, Italy.
51:09But while the guest list and venue were undeniably dazzling, it was Lauren's jaw-dropping wardrobe
51:16that truly stole the show.
51:19The bride's fashion journey began the moment she touched down in Venice.
51:24Lauren turned heads in a rare 2003 black Alexander McQueen dress sourced from TAP Vintage.
51:30She paired the archival piece with sleek $510 sunglasses from Celine, a sophisticated nod to timeless glamour.
51:42For the welcome party on Thursday, Lauren embraced bold bridal elegance in a custom Schiaparelli gown.
51:49The fitted dress featured intricate floral embroidery across the top and was styled with a sparkling engagement ring
51:56and diamond earrings, blending haute couture with personal sentiment.
52:02On Friday, she stepped out in a vintage-inspired Dior Ensemble, a crisp buttoned top paired with a knee-length skirt.
52:10Completing the lookwood Tom Ford glasses, a chic bandana and a classic Hermes handbag, effortlessly combining European flair with understated luxury.
52:24The main event, however, came on the wedding day.
52:28Lauren walked down the aisle in a breathtaking high-necked Italian lace gown custom-made by Deutsche in Gabbana.
52:34According to Vogue, the stunning creation took 900 hours of meticulous atelier work.
52:42A true labour of love and craftsmanship.
52:47Netizens of the internet are even comparing that look to Priyanka Chopra's wedding dress, giving emphasis to details around the neck area.
52:55There was a vast dissimilarity in the styling.
52:58But the fashion parade didn't end there.
53:00For the post-wedding party, a pyjama-themed soiree, aptly titled Dolce Norte, meaning Sweet Night.
53:09Lauren chose an atelier Versace strapless Georgia dress, complete with crystal mesh embroidery.
53:17While guests kept it cosy, Sanchez elevated the theme with a red-carpet-worthy sparkle and sophistication.
53:24From vintage McQueen to bespoke Versace, Lauren Sanchez turned her wedding celebration into a full-blown couture moment, one stunning look at a time.
