00:05through certain doors or access certain ledges once you've gained a new piece of equipment from

00:09somewhere else in the game. But unlike most games of its ilk, it's entirely possible to finish the

00:15whole story without picking up some key bits of this special equipment. Case in point, the reinforced

00:20blade. Here's how to get it. There are actually two ways to get the reinforced blade. The first

00:26way presents itself during the main story and opens up some more possibilities on the map,

00:31so we'll take a look at that first. Once you reach Petiti, you'll find it as part of a side quest

00:36called Stay of Execution. This is triggered once Etsy tells you about Hakan being taken prisoner,

00:41which automatically happens as you go through the main quest. There's one more thing. Hakan has been

00:47captured. He's my friend Kiara's dad. If he's sacrificed, I'll see what I can do.

00:57To start it, you'll need to speak to Kiara in the upper city, who can be found sitting on some steps

01:02right about here. She then gives you the quest to go and save her father Hakan, who is indeed being

01:08held prisoner. The sequence needed to rescue her father is simple. After travelling to this area and

01:14speaking to the people with cogs above their heads to make sure they're in, you need to ask this

01:18person to call the prayer horn, then go over to the musicians and get them to start playing. Now

01:24swiftly, as the window is quite tight here, ask the two men here and here to help you open the door.

01:31The rest is easy and the knife is yours. The second way to get the reinforced knife

01:48is to reinforce your existing blade by going to the market in Petiti. This is where an upgrade

01:53service is available for sale for 2,900 gold from this merchant. If you have the standard knife,

01:59upgrading it will now give you the ability to break through reinforced knife locked doors.

02:04But if you already have the reinforced knife from saving Hakan, it not only means that you take more

02:09resources from animals you skin, but it also has this nice little bonus of giving you a Crocodile

02:14done dereferencing achievement.
