Pese a la prohibición del Gobierno húngaro, Budapest siguió adelante con su Desfile del Orgullo. Unas 200.000 personas salieron a las calles para enviar un mensaje al primer ministro, Viktor Orbán, y a su gobierno de derechas: “la libertad y el amor no pueden prohibirse”. El mayor acto del Orgullo en la historia de Hungría se convirtió en una protesta contra el ejecutivo húngaro.
