00:00This young couple from Thrissur, Kerala was arrested after the man showed up at a police
00:04station with the skeletal remains of two babies. Bhavin, a plumber, and Anisha, a lab technician,
00:09met on Facebook in 2020 and soon began living together, though they never married.
00:14In 2021, Anisha was pregnant, but their parents were unaware of their relationship,
00:18and so they hid it. Anisha gave birth alone in her bathroom. The baby was stillborn,
00:23strangled by the umbilical cord, she told the police. She had then buried the baby in her
00:27backyard. Months later, in a twisted plot, Bhavin exhumed the bones for post-death rituals.
00:33In 2024, Anisha delivered another child, this time in her room. The baby cried,
00:38but she allegedly covered its mouth to silence it and prevent the neighbours from hearing,
00:41which ultimately led to the infant's death. She then wrapped the body, carried it on her
00:46scooter, and then handed it over to Bhavin, who buried it behind his house.
00:50Two dead babies, two secret burials. And for four years, no one knew until the fallout
00:55between the couple led Bhavin to confess. Police say Anisha had learned how to give birth
00:59at home from YouTube. The couple have now confessed and faced charges under suspicion
01:04of homicide. Forensics confirmed the bones belong to two infants. DNA testing and post-mortem
01:09are underway. At the time of publishing the story, the case remains under investigation.
