What kind of teammate was Rafael Devers in Boston? Alex Bregman isn't partaking in the Raffy negativity

00:00Sticking in hockey, the Bruins selected James Higgins with the seventh overall pick in this
00:04year's NHL draft. And James Higgins was introduced. That pick was introduced by none other than Adam
00:10Sandler as Happy Gilmore himself. Higgins was asked about what it was like to hear Happy Gilmore
00:16announce his name. It was the coolest, coolest, one of the coolest moments I've ever had. I loved
00:22Happy Gilmore. It was my favorite movie. So seeing him up on the screen and then, you know, you're
00:27sitting there and you're hoping he says your name and he says Boston College. And, you know,
00:31it's just, it's something that doesn't feel real. He's a funny guy. So hopefully I can meet him in
00:36person one day. So credit to Don Sweeney on this pick and this draft, right? I mean, it takes a lot
00:44of abuse, has taken a lot of abuse on this show and elsewhere when it comes to drafting, but it seems
00:49like they stole one. Yeah, I'm hoping. So I think the Higgins kid is really, really talented. And the
00:55fact that he fell all the way to seven and the Bruins just stuck there and took him,
00:58I think was, was the, was the right decision. He fell most likely because of this freshman
01:03season at BC, right? Yeah. He had a slight down year compared to what he had done with
01:08the U18 team and the national U.S. development team. But I mean, I mean, a slight down year
01:13is still a point per game center. So this kid is really, really talented. I'm like Curtis
01:17that by the time this kid even gets on the roster, Sweeney will probably be gone. You know,
01:24I mean, Millbury talks about it all the time. You know, a lot of these guys, it takes them
01:28three years, you know, to get to the NHL. And so it's like, what are you doing with this
01:35team right now?
01:37Wiggy, I wouldn't be shocked if you see James Higgins at the end of this year, like when
01:41the BC season is over, if he chooses to go back to BC for another year, which I think
01:45is the right call. He plays at BC and similar to when McAvoy finished at BU, he came to the
01:49NHL, the Bruins team. I think you might see Higgins at the end of the year, especially if the
01:53Bruins are out of the playoffs.
01:54All right.
01:56Rivers are in the Twitch chat. He's 5'10", 170. Unless he fills out, he'll get killed.
02:02He'll get killed. No, he's up to 190. Put some weight on, like Shimon and myself.
