Patrick Reed says it 'means a lot' for him to win his first ever LIV event in his home state of Texas.
Transcript
00:00You win your first Live Golf title and your 41st start out here, and your first pro win in your home state of Texas.
00:08What kind of emotions are you feeling right now?
00:11I don't like hearing those numbers. It took me 41 times just to win out here.
00:16I mean, yeah, I mean, it took too long, I felt like, but, you know, to kind of check two things off,
00:22not only winning for the first time on Live, but also doing it in my home state means a lot.
00:25But, you know, it's just been a long time coming to, you know, win out here.
00:31I feel like the game's been solid.
00:32It's just, you know, even like today, you always deal with adversity throughout every tournament you play.
00:37It's just how you're going to respond to handle it.
00:39And, you know, luckily I was able to kind of ride the ship today and get in the playoff and, you know, make that putt at the end.
