00:00...car in front of him.
00:02Now they're in the fence on the outside line there.
00:05Just a lot of stack up and a lot of bumper-to-bumper contact.
00:10I'd like to see that again.
00:13So if you watch the outside line,
00:16as they all kind of catch the nine car, Chase Elliott,
00:19there's a lot of contact right there.
00:22As Christopher Buescher lifts off the gas, the seven,
00:26all those cars behind him, they all just make, you know,
00:30they just run in the back of each other.
00:31Big accordion effect.
00:34They caught the nine so quickly down the back straightaway.
00:38So I was looking to the inside, but you absolutely were dead on.
00:42It was the outside lane where the wreck kind of started.
00:44The 88 kind of catches your attention with the block at the bottom,
00:47but the wreck is on the outside of the racetrack.
00:49So let's look at that high shot again.
00:50Look in the middle, like the 34, the 11,
00:54those two cars on the outside, that bright orange 11.
00:56They're going to catch the nine.
00:57The 17 is going to run up on the back bump of the nine.
00:59He recognizes that.
01:00He lifts.
01:00No one else does.
01:01Everybody runs into the back of him,
01:03and it turns the 42 of John Hunter, Nemechek, into the wall,
01:07and then everything behind him just gets destroyed.
01:11That's right.
01:11The 42 checks up.
01:12The 11 catches him.
01:13They both spit into the outside wall,
01:15and when they come back,
01:16it is a windshield wiper across the front of the field.
01:20Nemechek did a good job to hang on to it here.
01:22I mean, bounces off the wall,
01:23and I thought for sure he would go around.
01:26Third car outside lane, but he's able to hang on to it.
01:29Reddick does the same, and then the crash is on behind him.
01:33That was such a great shot as they were just coming at you.
01:36You see him kind of just dart out of line.
01:37Kyle Busch just getting caught in the right rear quarter panel leak.
01:43And this is another scenario where some of these cars,
01:47even though they're involved in the crash,
01:49may get fortunate enough to get away from this
01:52without a lot of toe leak damage, things like that.
01:56So just a quick reminder,
01:57you have eight minutes if you're going to try to repair your car on pit road,
02:00but the big change this year isn't that.
02:01The big change is you can go to the garage area.
02:03You're not out of the race.
02:05There's only a list of parts you're allowed to change,
02:07but the list is pretty extensive.
02:09I believe a lot of these cars are going to go back,
02:11make repairs, and come back out in case we see some more accidents.
02:14And, you know, we've got this in-season challenge going on.
02:17There's a whole lot to race for tonight.
02:21Joe Logano got a lot of damage in this rig.
02:25That's how it all went down.
02:28Team Penske sweeps the front two rows.
02:32They dominate stage one.
02:33They get the win.
02:35But Ryan Blaney eliminated in that crash.
02:37Late in stage one.
02:39And the other three caught up right here.
02:40You're riding with Daniel Suarez.
02:49Suarez with high hopes after winning here last spring.
02:53Now we ride with Bubba Wallace.
02:55Can you get it slow down?
03:02What a job.
03:03We're not done yet.
03:05Yeah, right.
03:06He did a good job.
03:08Here you go.
03:09This is right at the front.
03:10Kind of the cause.
03:10The 11.42.
03:11It looks, it looks, you know, it looks like Denny wants his head to bounce around.
03:20That he risks so many hard, hard shots.
03:24But it, you know, it looks like he turns the 42, but there's contact in front of the 42 as well.
03:31There's the 7, the 42, all of his arms.
03:35I'm trying to figure out why the 42, I mean, it wasn't on purpose, right?
03:39Like, why the 42's nose darts right?
03:41Is it off the rear bumper of the 7?
03:43The 11's offset when he runs into the back.
03:45Okay.
03:46Kind of hits him a little bit to the left side.
03:49Oh, boy.
03:52That ride right there can hurt as much as the wreck.
03:54He ain't lying.
03:55Starts on the pole, leads 51 laps, nothing to show for it for Joey Logano.
04:00This is Austin Cinder riding with here.
04:07Seize parted and closed instantly.
04:13He's putting his hand up there between his helmet and the headrest to sort of see that bouncing.
