00:00There's no guru that's about to show you what I'm about to tell you in this video.
00:03This YouTube channel made me over $60,000 in May. And if you don't believe me, I'm going to change
00:08the currency. And we're going to change it back to US dollars. And here it is $60,000 in May,
00:15but actually I have 17 channels. So this isn't the only channel that's making me money. We can look
00:20here $550,000 in lifetime revenue. I just got this channel monetized on May 23rd, May 22nd,
00:27actually. And it's already making me $100 to $300 a day. I have another channel here in YouTube
00:32shorts, over $16,000 in the last 90 days, another $7,800 from YouTube shorts, $8,000 from YouTube
00:40shorts. I'm going to drop all the sauce on how to get started on YouTube automation. And in case of
00:45you still don't believe me, these are all my play buttons right here. I'm literally going to drop
00:49all the sauce right now. Now the reality of YouTube automation is that most of your revenue is going
00:54to come from one or two channels. So people think that when people like me having 20 channels,
01:00people think that all of these 20 channels are making like 5k a month. But actually that's not
01:05true. The reality is one or two channels is probably going to make you all the money. And I'm going to
01:10tell you what these implications are very soon. The reality is I'm making a lot of money on that one
01:15channel making $60,000 in May. I'm making more money from channels making $30,000 in May. And all these
01:21other channels, they're making three to 5k a month. So they're actually not making much money.
01:26The reality is you only need one good channel to make a lot of money. So what does this mean? It
01:32means you have to stop wasting your time looking at different niches. All you need is one very good
01:38niche that you can attack very effectively. So what I'm trying to say is that once you get one
01:42successful channel, let's say you get one successful channel making $40,000 per month. Now you can just make
01:47four new channels in the same niche or in a similar niche. So someone like me with 17 channels, I'm not
01:53in that many niches. And you don't have to be in that many niches. I'm actually just getting one
01:58successful channel in one good niche and then making four new channels in the same or similar niche
02:04that's making me 20 to 40k per month. So all you need is one niche and you don't want to waste time
02:09looking for niches that can make you $3,000 to $5,000 per month. Seriously, don't waste your time
02:14on competitive niches. You are going to fail. A lot of these niches that YouTube gurus are talking
02:19about, let's say reaction videos, streamer videos, body cam videos, these niches are all flooded with
02:25competition. And the main issue with that is that you're going to have to increase the quality a lot.
02:31So this niche is the streamer niche. In this niche, you see this guy, Dr. Mystery, he got nearly 2 million
02:38views in the past 30 days. And the RPM on this niche is very high. I'm using this tool NextLev,
02:43which is pretty accurate at estimating people's revenues. So let's take a look at the revenue on
02:48this channel right here, Dr. Mystery in the streamer niche. This guy, Dr. Mystery, made over $6,700 in
02:56the last 28 days. And he's really only uploading four videos a month. So on the surface, this looks
03:02like a very profitable niche. But actually, when you dig more into it, you'll realize that there's a lot
03:07of competition in this niche. So if you actually watch these videos like a real viewer, you'll realize
03:13that these videos are very high quality. But despite being very high quality, it's very difficult
03:18to achieve outlier results in this niche. So high competition is going to force quality to be higher.
03:25And while there's a lot of viewers watching, you simply don't want to be in these competitive niches.
03:30You want to be in niches where the quality doesn't have to be that high, and you can still make a lot
03:35of money. So the streamer niche is not a good niche because you're simply not going to be making much
03:40money due to high competition. Now you might be wondering, I want to make high quality videos.
03:45The streamer niche, I'm fine with the competition, and I'm fine with making higher quality videos if
03:50it generates me more revenue in the long term. Now that's not the right mindset to have. And I've
03:55tried these niches before. The margins are super thin. So even if you are successful, you're spending
04:01so much money on the production of these videos that you're simply not going to have a high margin.
04:05And once that channel starts to die down, all of a sudden you're losing money. So let me give
04:10you an example of a niche that is simply not worth it right now. And that niche is the 3D animation
04:15shorts niche. You might know Daniel Bitton, who's working on this channel simply how. The problem
04:21with this channel is that you can spend a lot of money on each video. 3D animation is very time
04:27consuming. I've tried it myself, and you're going to need a platform called Blender. And Blender
04:31takes a long, long time to make animations with. So you look at Daniel Bitton here, each video is
04:38getting maybe 10 to 20,000 views. And this is on shorts. And that's not making much money. Each
04:44video is going to cost hundreds of dollars, and you're only going to get this low view count. So
04:48if you take a look at Daniel Bitton's revenue right here, he made a measly $800 in the last 28 days.
04:56He got over 7 million views and only made $800. I can almost guarantee you that his expenses were
05:03a lot higher than $800. So you don't want to be in these competitive 3D animation type niches
05:09because your margins are not going to be great, even if you are successful. Even Zack D Films,
05:15despite getting all the views that he does in the 3D animation niche, he has very thin margins because
05:21he spends thousands of dollars on each video. And I know that because I've hired people on Zack D's
05:27team to make these kind of videos. And that was a terrible mistake on my part. I ended up losing a
05:32lot of money on the 3D animation niche due to high costs and low RPM. So finding a good niche on the
05:38surface, some niches look very profitable, but they actually aren't. So how do you find the niches that
05:44are the most profitable with the highest margins? I personally have an over 85% margin on my videos.
05:51So how am I finding these niches? The truth is it's by digging through niche communities. General
05:56audience videos are very great for achieving high view counts, but if you want to achieve an actual
06:02competitive advantage over people in other niches, you're going to have to dig into very niche
06:08communities. In these communities, they can't be in the age range of 15 to 40 because people in this
06:15age range are likely to create videos themselves. You want to tap into these niches where the view
06:21can't make these videos on their own. So a lot of niches that I'm in, they're in the age ranges of
06:2665 plus or under 10 years old. And the reason why is because people in this age range, they simply won't
06:33be in that YouTube automation space. And it's people like me who are in their 20s that are making these
06:39kind of videos even though I don't personally watch them. So to give you an example, the Roblox niche is
06:44very profitable because a lot of people who play Roblox, they're under the age of 15. And because
06:50they're under the age of 15, they don't really care that much about making businesses. I don't care if
06:56you're in your 20s, you're going to have to play Roblox and figure out that niche because it's very
07:01profitable. Now I'm not personally in the Roblox niche, but I know for a fact that the Roblox niche
07:06makes you a lot of money. So now let me go into actually finding these niches. I'm on an incognito tab
07:12right now. And I'm going to go to trending right here. And now we're going to look for different
07:16creators on the rise that are in faceless niches. This is a tech demo. That's not a niche to get
07:21into. This is some kind of reaction niche on some game right here appears to be Roblox or something
07:27like that. So this is a niche to potentially get into. This is a music video. This is the Fortnite niche.
07:34This is another gaming niche. This is a certified news niche. This is the golf niche. This is the
07:39documentary explainer niche. Music video. This niche you can't get into, but it's in the celebrity
07:45niche. This is the Brawl Stars niche. You can see right here, I'm looking at a lot of different
07:50niches. And if I keep scrolling, I can find so many different niches just on this trending tab. Now you
07:56want to be an expert in one singular niche. Look, I have so many niches that I can get into right now,
08:02but I'm telling you right here, you want to be an expert in one niche because that's all you need.
08:07So let's say I'm looking at this trending tab right here. I find this niche right here. It's
08:11the engineering niche. Now, if you think the engineering niche is interesting, it's your
08:16goal to become an expert in this niche. Literally do every single piece of research that you can on
08:21this niche before starting. Watch literally every single video here and figure out what makes these
08:27videos entertaining, who's the target audience, and how are you going to get in this niche with a
08:32competitive advantage. Now, in my opinion, you shouldn't waste your time making AI slop that a
08:38lot of these gurus are telling you to make. The truth is viewers like yourself, they want to see
08:43actually good videos. If you're pumping out this AI slop, you're not going to have great returning
08:48viewers. You're not going to be able to go viral consistently because everyone has access to these AI
08:54tools and you're simply not going to create sustainable long-term revenue. So that's why I'm
08:59introducing a little bit of a different perspective here. I'm an expert on a very specific niche. I'm
09:05not going to reveal that niche right now, but I'm an expert on one niche. And just from that niche
09:10alone, I'm making $70,000 a month. And this is why I can drop all the sauce for you guys. It's because
09:16I know that you're probably not going to be able to compete with me in my niche because I've spent
09:22countless hours, in fact, countless years studying my singular niche. And I've become an expert in that
09:28niche. So it's your job to do the same in a different niche. So stop creating AI slop. Find
09:33a niche that's actually entertaining and in a niche community. So stop looking for general audience
09:39niches. Do not look for general audience niches. Look for actual niche communities. And that's where
09:46you're going to make the most money. You see, by studying these niches, you're actually investing in
09:50yourself and you're going to be able to attack other niches in the future through that one niche that
09:55you're studying right now. So now that you've found your niche, let me talk about how to actually
10:00succeed in that niche. So in the example that we talked about, we looked at an engineering niche and
10:05I'm telling you to only focus on that one engineering niche, but there are lessons you can learn from
10:11other niches. So if we go back to that trending tab right here, all this data is actually very useful.
10:17So let's say this bakery niche. If I take a look at this bakery video, there's things I can learn from
10:23this bakery video and implement it into the engineering niche. So for example, in the bakery
10:28niche, we have this title, how ice makes bread. Now you can implement a similar title in the engineering
10:33niche. For example, we could make a video talking about how concrete makes bridges. We could steal
10:40competitive advantages in other niches and implement them into the niche that we're researching.
10:47Even videos for little kids like this, grow a garden owner gave me a new secret seed. We could watch
10:52this video and learn a lot about the different retention strategies using this video. And we
10:57can implement that in the niche that we're looking for. So for instance, the engineering niche, we could
11:02watch this. This is some kind of challenge right here. We could implement a similar challenge in the
11:08engineering niche. Now what I'm talking about is close and far niching. So far niching is basically
11:14looking for niches that are simply not relevant to the niche we're looking at. And then implementing
11:19those same retention strategies into the niche that we're researching. So an example of that would be
11:24watching that gaming video just now, looking for different retention strategies to implement in the
11:31engineering niche. Now another strategy would be close niching, which is where we look at a niche
11:36similar to the engineering niche and then implement those strategies in the engineering niche. So for
11:42example, in the architecture niche, there are many different YouTube channels out there in the
11:46architecture niche that we can implement in the engineering niche. So close niching, we're going to
11:50look for niches close to us and then implement strategies that are directly applicable to our
11:57niche. Now all of this stuff might sound very complicated, but in reality, in practice, it's very
12:02simple. So now that we've covered close and far niching, let's move on to the next step. And it's actually
12:07the packaging of the video. Notice how we haven't started talking about the script. We haven't started
12:12talking about the editing. And it's because these first few steps are actually the most important
12:17part of the process. The actual research of the niche is the most important part. And the
12:22implementation is actually the easiest part if you're not lazy. So in terms of the packaging,
12:27if you're in long form, you're going to have to figure out what kind of thumbnail design you want
12:31and title design that you want to attract the most clicks. And now I'm just going to tell you right now,
12:37both of these should tie into some kind of mystery, some kind of prediction of the future.
12:41So there needs to be some kind of reason to watch the video. Let me give you an example.
12:46Let's say I have a video, I made $3 million from YouTube automation. This title isn't very appealing
12:54because there's no really mystery for the future. It's lacking the mystery for the future. Let's think
12:59about this title, but let's add some kind of mystery to it. And now you're going to see because of the
13:04difference in packaging, the click-through rate is going to go through the roof. So instead of this
13:09title, now I'm going to say a different title. Screw it. I'm just, I'm revealing all my secrets
13:16to make 100k per month through YouTube automation. So this title, now this might not be the title I'm
13:24going to use in this video, but this title has some kind of mystery to it. And that's going to make it
13:28a lot more applicable. So this mystery factor should be implemented in both the thumbnail and title
13:34design. And if you're not working on long form videos, let's say you're working on the shorts,
13:38which I've done plenty of times, your hook should have this sort of mystery to it. Your thumbnail
13:44and title is the hook, the first sentence in that short. So this title could just be the first sentence
13:50in the short. Focus on your packaging. Your packaging should have some kind of mystery to
13:56the future. Now when it comes to scripting, scripting is probably the next most important
14:00factor in the video. Your scripting should follow a few key pillars. If you don't have these pillars,
14:05you're going to fail. You're literally going to fail. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. A lot of
14:09scripts that I see on videos with under 1000 views are just absolute trash. And the reason why is
14:15because you're not following the right pillars to the script. Your script should have, at the very
14:19least, it should follow these fundamentals. First of all, it should be very concise. No one wants to
14:25wait 10 years just to figure out what your video is about. Your video should be very clear from the
14:30start what you're talking about. And a lot of people, they try to add these kind of like chat GPT
14:35kind of explanations. No one's trying to watch all that. They're trying to get to the point. If you're
14:40not concise and to the point, your video is simply not going to succeed. And another key pillar that
14:45you're going to have to follow is that mystery slash future that I talked about earlier. The mystery
14:50slash future, it goes a long way. Your packaging needs to be right in the video as well. So there needs to
14:56be a reason for someone to watch to the end of the video. If you look at Mr. Beast, a common structure
15:01he uses is this $1 versus $1 million format. He starts with $1 of, let's say, some product that's
15:09$1. And he's going to lead up to the end of the video where he reveals that $1 million product.
15:15You see, the mystery in the future that you're looking at, at the end of the video, is the $1
15:19million product. There is this sort of incentive to keep watching that video because you want to see
15:24that most expensive product. Now, this is a very simple retention structure that you can implement
15:29in your own videos. But make sure there's a reason to watch to the end. Another fundamental point with
15:35scripting is actually figuring out how to make it easy to follow. Most people don't want to use their
15:41brain that much when watching your video, unless if you're in the intellectual niche, like engineering.
15:46Your video should still be easy to follow regardless. So you want to be concise, have some sort of mystery
15:51in future and have it easy to follow. These three pillars, that's all you need to create a good
15:57script. And now it just comes down to finding the right research that will allow you to follow these
16:01three pillars. Now, I'm going to go more in depth on this in the future. So just hit that subscribe
16:06button. The next pillar that you're going to have to follow is obviously the video editing. Your video
16:11needs to be edited. Now, I'm just going to say right now, the video editing is not that important.
16:17And the reason why is because if your niche requires very high quality video editing,
16:23you're not in the right niche. You're simply in a niche with paper thin margins. So leave that
16:27niche immediately. Now, video editing is something you can do on your own in the beginning. And this
16:32is something I can cover in a future video. But video editing in the beginning simply doesn't need
16:37to be complex. It just needs to be functional. And the reason why I say that is because we don't need
16:43like 10 million different animations popping out at us. As long as the video editing is functional,
16:47it's going to work out. And once you start making that revenue, then you can look into finding a
16:52video editor. But in the beginning, you can just edit it yourself. It really doesn't have to be
16:56Mr. Beast level animations. And if it really needs to be, then you're just in the wrong niche.
17:01So now a quick note before you upload your first video, or let's say you're already uploading videos,
17:07you should keep in mind about channel trust scores. When you have a new channel, let's say you make a new
17:12Google account. You don't want to be spamming videos on that new Google account. And the reason
17:17why is because your channel trust score is actually very low. So the chances of getting low impressions
17:22or not finding the right niche audience is very high. If you have existing Google accounts where
17:29you've been using it to watch videos, we call this age accounts. These are much more likely to succeed.
17:35But you should still follow the guideline of really not spamming videos on the channel because that's
17:40just going to run your channel trust score to the ground. Now I don't want to rant on for forever.
17:45But if you want help in your specific niche, I do offer one on one mentoring. Now I don't mentor
17:50everyone because I do have my own channels to run. So there is an application process. But if you're
17:56interested in applying, just email me at calebsjam at gmail.com. Through this email, we'll be in touch.
18:03But if you're just at $0 per month, I have a lot more free knowledge to drop on this channel. So stay
18:09tuned for that. And I'll see you in the next video.
