The main character, Jessie (Talulah Riley), along with her friends Brandon and Dylan, becomes the target of a kidnapping plot. While riding in a limousine, their vehicle is forced off the road and crashes into a submerged lake. The driver and bodyguard, Matt (Jonathan Bennett), is injured but must take the lead to help everyone survive. As the limo slowly sinks, the group struggles with panic, lack of oxygen, and rising water levels — all while dealing with armed attackers trying to eliminate witnesses. Flashbacks reveal deeper motives: who planned the kidnapping, who can be trusted, and whether anyone will live long enough to be rescued. The suspense builds to a tense finale, where survival hangs by a thread.
