Draft grades are undeniably a great way to make a writer look silly. But what do you know? When evaluating players, everyone makes mistakes. Even the most skilled NBA evaluators frequently make mistakes. In the end, grades are a great way to consider each team's approach to the NBA Draft, its roster-building objectives, and the process as a whole. Advertisement I broke down all 30 teams that did or did not make picks in the NBA Draft over the last two days, explaining what I liked, didn’t like and what was interesting about their draft processes. Teams are in letter-grade order, and I tiered them how I’d evaluate them. I didn’t spend a ton of time parsing how to order each team within the same grade, so I wouldn’t say I “ranked” them. However, I did thoroughly examine my thoughts regarding the draft and the week preceding it in relation to any deal involving picks. Here are my 2025 NBA Draft grades.
