02:13the Women's United States Championship, or indeed the Men's United States Champion.

02:17But I like that, that's a cockiness, that's an assuredness,

02:28She's already won the NXT Women's Championship.

02:32The United States title next in her sight.

02:34And I have no doubt, after watching this woman over the last number of years,

02:38way that she will indeed be a world champion at one point in her career here in WWE.

02:52There are massive expectations on the shoulders of Julia.

02:57But even those aren't as big as the expectations she puts on herself.

03:02Well, that woman there, Zelina Vega, four years ago, won the Queen of the Rings tournament back in 2021.

03:11So this weekend, of course, means a lot to Zelina.

03:14Back in April of this year, Zelina Vega beat Chelsea Green to win her first singles championship in WWE.

03:22She was so emotional that night, it meant so much to her, Wade.

03:26And she's been a very proud champion over the past couple of months and intends to keep going.

03:30She said she wants to get the Summer Slam.

03:32Yeah, but here's the interesting thing.

03:34For the past two months, it has been all about the green regime.

05:46Wow, Zelina got a broken nose as she hit the ropes hard.

07:41We've talked about Julia's natural charisma, talked about her being calm and confident.

07:47But she can brawl with the best of them, punishing her opponent here tonight in Zelina Vega.

07:52The smile has been wiped off the face of Julia somewhat at this point.

08:01Now get a little frustrated with Vega, but you know Vega is not gonna give up.

08:06And again, there's the resilience of Meteora, driving Julia into the steel steps.

08:13And again, favoring the knee that Zelina tweaked earlier on in the matchup.

08:17I saw Julia grabbing the bottom row of teeth there, checking they were all still there.

08:22Might need a recount, but now it's all Vega. The underdog is biting back.

08:28Yeah, the resilient champion staying in the fight, but Julia bringing that strong style.

08:38And now Zelina Vega looking to pick up the pace here.

08:40Use her quickness to her ability, couple of clotheslines, takes the challenger down.

08:44I thought she was gonna go for a dragon screw, but it was a back elbow delivery.

08:48Didn't quite get all of that, and that is why Julia is straight back on the offense.

08:55Crazy maneuverability now from Vega.

08:57Like Julia was going for her finisher moments ago, and Zelina was able to counter.

09:02Popped her up, kneed her in the jaw.

09:04And now it is Julia completely rocked and at the mercy of the champ.

09:09And Vega with double knees to the spine.

09:11Zelina Vega beginning to build momentum, may have the challenger in trouble.

09:17Oh, Meteora from Zelina, again, and a kick out by Julia at two.

09:29It's like Rey Mysterio, you mentioned it earlier.

09:32You have to fight from underneath, but keep fighting.

09:35Stay in the fight however you can, and Vega's doing that.

09:38And Julia though, Zelina took a bit too much time getting to the top rope.

09:42Perhaps the knee bothering you more than she's letting on.

09:44Both women hurting at this point.

09:46This is a championship level matchup with the goal on the line.

09:50And we are getting a treat from these two women.

09:54Oh, goodness, Julia just got her over, just enough.

09:58You saw Vega trying to scramble out of the move, but

10:01Julia just had enough power, and wait up.

10:06And Zelina, able to drop back behind Julia.

10:11And now, coverhead, delivered by Zelina for the win.

10:15And Julia gets her feet on the bottom rope, Wade.

10:22When Vega thought she had this one, put her back.

10:26She hit her nuke right on Julia.

10:31And what is it gonna take to put this Japanese superstar away?
