00:18This order limits the power of lower courts to suspend presidential executive orders.

01:03In this order, issued yesterday morning, Friday, local time in the United States,

01:08six out of the nine justices of the country's highest court ruled in favor of the Trump administration.

01:14Amy Coney Barrett wrote the order on behalf of the conservative majority judges.

01:19It did not allow Trump's policy of revoking birthright citizenship to take immediate effect.

01:24Furthermore, no decision was given on the validity of the policy.

01:28This order, passed by the Supreme Court justices despite opposition from liberals,

01:33clearly states that Trump's executive order cannot be enforced for 30 days after this Friday's order.

01:39Trump sees this ruling as a major success for his broader agenda.

01:42At a White House press briefing on Friday, he said,

01:46Because of this decision, we can now quickly apply to enforce many policies that were illegally blocked across the country.

01:53Trump further added,

01:55This, this policy or rule, is not for individuals who try to circumvent the country's rules to gain benefits.
