00:03Donald Trump lied about a phone call he had with me, quote unquote, the day before.

00:09Fox chose to cover up that lie.

00:13Fox chose in multiple instances to amend, omit, and edit facts that were in evidence

00:21in order to shape a narrative that was malicious, which was defamatory.

00:30And as a consequence of their lies, as a consequence of their lack of journalistic ethic, as a

00:38consequence of crossing that red line as it relates to news, we filed a defamation.

00:45I filed a defamation lawsuit against them.

00:48They seemingly have learned nothing from the Dominion lawsuit, of which they settled for

00:53an unprecedented $787 million.

00:56Fox News is a propaganda network, the national news.

01:02Local Fox affiliates do an extraordinary job.

01:05Back to your question.

01:06My message to the newsrooms of most of the Fox affiliates, thank you for being excellent

01:13journalists.

01:14Thank you for having ethical standards.

01:16Thank you for doing your best to communicate truth and build trust.

01:21But there are some at Fox that simply do not abide by that basic principle.

01:28And as a consequence, they need to be held to account.

01:32It is not because I'm, quote unquote, sensitive to the coverage on National Fox.

01:37I've been a pinata for Fox News for years and years and years.

01:42Never, however, have I seen that line crossed in such a clear and instinctive way.

01:54They should apologize.

01:57They should spend as much time on the apology they did weaponizing the lie that was shared

02:03not only by the 65 million people that are part of Fox News and Fox Business, but by the hundreds

02:09of millions that shared that lie around the globe.

02:14They should issue that apology.

02:16If they choose not to, we will initiate.

02:20We have this lawsuit.

02:22They need to stop the lies.

02:26That's simple.

02:27And that line was crossed.

02:29And again, I didn't do this lightly.

02:32This is not money I'm seeking for myself.

02:34The punitive damages would be money to go to advance the notion of truth, trust and transparency.

02:41But Fox, the Murdochs, the news at Fox National needs to get its act together and act in an ethical

02:52way.

02:52They haven't in this instant, and they're dead to right on this lawsuit.

02:58It's crystal clear.
