00:56This mostly happens with devices coming from Asia, and this is what we're going to do, or the adjustment we need to make to our router so our devices can detect the 5G network.
01:11These are the three channel ranges we can select on our router, ranging from 36 to 64, 100 to 144, and 149 to 177.
01:23This capture belongs to my phone, my phone is a Xiaomi, so logically it is Chinese and it does not detect channels 100 to 144, it only detects 36 to 64 and 149 to 177.
01:41So, that's why it's very important to select the channel that detects our equipment that we're having problems with, but that also doesn't affect others.
01:54So, we have to run some tests and if everything works well, then we leave it on that channel.
01:59And on our device, our cell phone or laptop, we're going to log in to our router's IP.

02:15And with your credentials, which are usually printed underneath the router, you can log in and change the channel, changing it from automatic to manual, and run a test to see what range it detects the channels in.
02:34Once inside, we'll go to the Wi-Fi settings, in this case we'll go to 5G, we'll go to where its channels are.
02:49I have the ZT modem, your modem is a different brand, but it still has the option, as you can see, automatic, it has that range of channels.
02:59So my, my, my, my this rotator starts from channel 52 and ends at 160 and something.
03:08So you can first select the lower range ones, the middle ones, and then the third group of channels, which are three.
03:18Once you have modified this, I will, in this case I will do my test, because right now it is already detecting 5G, I was able to connect.
03:29And, because it didn't detect it, I did it intentionally, I already had it connected, this is the one I've been using.
03:37But, once I selected a channel from the ones below, it was able to detect it.
