00:00But there's been some movement in this market for the second overall pick tonight.
00:04Everyone assumed Misa, but this Anton Frondell, the Swedish kid,
00:09has now moved in some markets as the favorite even I've seen.
00:14In fact, the board we have has some favorite.
00:15It's moving around by the hour.
00:17One book I'm looking at has Misa now at minus 250 and Frondell at plus 145.
00:22Sounds like you might have, really, from pick two on, anything could happen.
00:27Yeah, it reminds me of the NBA draft, which we just saw a couple nights ago.
00:31We know he's going number one.
00:32We have an idea that Misa's going number two, as we kind of did with Dylan Harper.
00:36And then after that, that's where things get interesting.
00:38I think the Sharks would want to take Misa at two.
00:42And then I think that's how it shakes out, right?
00:44Like, you want to pair him.
00:45Frondell, I think, is the guy that the Blackhawks want.
00:47They want some size alongside Conor Bedard.
00:50But the offensive upside that Misa brings that you could have with Celebrini and Will Smith,
00:54I think, is too much to pass up.
00:55So, in my mind, I think the tiers are, it's like Schaefer's number one, Misa's number two.
01:00Then it's a gap to 3, 4, 5, and that's where things get interesting.
01:03But I think it should be Schaefer, Misa, Frondell, 1, 2, 3.
01:07Yeah, and Frondell is right now, at least at the board I'm looking at at this second,
01:12the favorite for the third overall pick, which is Chicago right now,
01:17with Misa being the second choice if he were to slip there.
01:20The fourth pick is where the questions begin, because Utah is trying to make a statement, honestly, Tom.
01:27There's talk that they're one of the teams that would be interested in Dobson,
01:30but Dobson has said he doesn't want to play in the Western Conference.
01:33And you say, well, why should the Islanders cater to Dobson?
01:36Well, because he'll just tell the Western Conference team,
01:38I'm not going to sign an extension with you.
01:40So, that's where he has a little bit of the power.
01:42But this Caleb DeNoise kid that's from the queue, the center,
01:47he looks to be the favorite right now.
01:49And he's minus, there you go, minus 125, with Higgins at plus 325.
01:55So, we finally see Higgins' name near atop of a board at number four.
01:58Yeah, I'm not anticipating Higgins to go there.
02:01I think Higgins' best spot would be six, maybe seven.
02:05Seven's obviously interesting, because the Bruins were picking at seven.
02:08He went to Boston College.
02:10Some of the reports that I've been seeing, and again,
02:11this is just partly speculation, partly reading the tea leaves,
02:15if you want to call it that.
02:16You know, Higgins is a small dude, right?
02:18His comp is like a Jack Hughes, where he's a 5'10", like 180, 185 type of player.
02:23And we know that NHL GMs kind of prefer those bigger body centers
02:27that are 6'6", 1', 6'2", whatever it might be.
02:30So, seeing a Brady Martin or is it Caleb DeNoise or Porter Martone
02:38going in that combination,
02:40that's where I think we could see Higgins drop.
02:42Not that he's not good, because the skill will take him there.
02:45He just doesn't have the size at a certain point.
02:47And the funny thing is, Tom, like you look at these markets,
02:51and it's just like the NBA draft, as you mentioned from the other night.
02:54They have Higgins at even money to be a top five pick tonight.
02:58But he's not the favorite for any of the top five picks.
03:03But they have him as even money to be a top five pick.
03:06But he's not the favorite for any of them.
03:08So, wouldn't you just play him if you really thought he was going to be a top five pick?
03:12You'd probably just take that four or five slot and play him at the plus money there.
03:16Right, exactly.
03:17And his draft position price is six and a half.
03:20And that was over six and a half was plus 104 yesterday.
03:23It was minus 132 this morning.
03:25It's down to minus 114.
03:27I would say over six and a half.
03:29I just don't think he goes.
03:30I think seven with the Bruins would make sense.
03:33And again, this is also dependent on adoption trade.
03:36So, things are changing.
03:37They've been changing in the last 24 hours, four hours.
03:39They will be changing up until, I don't want to say puck drop tonight, but first pick tonight.
03:43I don't want to say puck.
