00:15:30.
00:16:00These judges have attempted to dictate the law for the entire nation.
00:16:05In practice, this meant that if any one of the nearly 700 federal judges disagreed with the policy of a duly elected president of the United States,
00:16:14he or she could block that policy from going into effect, or at least delay it for many years, tie it up in the court system.
00:16:23This was a colossal abuse of power which never occurred in American history prior to recent decades.
00:16:28And we've been hit with more nationwide injunctions than were issued in the entire 20th century together.
00:16:36Think of it more than the entire 20th century, me.
00:16:41I'm grateful to the Supreme Court for stepping in and solving this very, very big and complex problem, and they've made it very simple.
00:16:49I want to thank Justice Barrett, who wrote the opinion brilliantly, as well as Chief Justice Roberts, and Justices Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Thomas.
00:17:00Great people.
00:17:02Thanks for this decision, and thanks to this decision.
00:17:07We can now promptly file to proceed with numerous policies that have been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis.
00:17:14And some of the cases we're talking about would be ending birthright citizenship, which now comes to the fore.
00:17:22That was meant for the babies of slaves.
00:17:25It wasn't meant for people trying to scam the system and come into the country on a vacation.
00:17:30This was, in fact, it was the same date, the exact same date, the end of the Civil War.
00:17:35It was meant for the babies of slaves, and it's so clean and so obvious.
00:17:38But this lets us go there and finally win that case, because hundreds of thousands of people are pouring into our country under birthright citizenship.
00:17:47And it wasn't meant for that reason.
00:17:49It was meant for the babies of slaves.
00:17:52So thanks to this decision, we can now promptly file to proceed with these numerous policies.
00:17:58And those that have been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis, including birthright citizenship, ending sanctuary city funding, suspending refugee resettlement, freezing unnecessary funding, stopping federal taxpayers from paying for transgender surgeries, and numerous other priorities of the American people.
00:18:19We have so many of them.
00:18:21I have a whole list.
00:18:21I'm not going to bore you, and I'm going to have Pam get up and say a few words.
00:18:26But there's really, she can talk as long as she wants, because this is a very important decision.
00:18:30This is a decision that covers a tremendous amount of territory.
00:18:35But I want to just thank, again, the Supreme Court for this ruling.
00:18:38It's a giant.
00:18:39It's a giant.
00:18:41And they should be very proud, and our country should be very proud of the Supreme Court today.
00:18:46And with that, I'd like you to listen to the words of Pam Bondi.
00:18:51She's an incredible Attorney General.
00:18:52We're very proud of her.
00:18:53And, as you know, Todd Blanche is with us, and we have so many others that worked on this case and other cases.
00:19:02And I think they're doing a great job.
00:19:03Pam, please say a few words.
00:19:09Thank you, President Trump.
00:19:11Thank you for fighting for all Americans.
00:19:14Americans are finally getting what they voted for.
00:19:17No longer will we have rogue judges striking down President Trump's policies across the entire nation.
00:19:26No longer.
00:19:27Today, in the 6-3 opinion, Justice Barrett correctly holds that the district court lacks authority to enter nationwide or universal injunctions.
00:19:36These lawless injunctions gave relief to everyone in the world instead of the parties before the court.
00:19:45As the Supreme Court held today, they turned district courts into the imperial judiciary.
00:19:52Active liberal justices, judges have used these injunctions to block virtually all of President Trump's policies.
00:20:00To put this in perspective, there are 94 federal judicial districts.
00:20:08Five of those districts throughout this country held 35 of the nationwide injunctions.
00:20:16Think about that.
00:20:1794 districts.
00:20:19And 35 out of the 40 opinions with nationwide injunctions came from five liberal districts in this country.
00:20:27No longer.
00:20:29No longer.
00:20:29These injunctions have blocked our policies from tariffs to military readiness to immigration to foreign affairs, fraud, abuse, and many other issues.
00:20:39The judges have tried to seize the executive branch's power, and they cannot do that.
00:20:46No longer.
00:20:47No longer.
00:20:48And on immigration, on a side note, today marks 2,711 arrests on these terrorists and these gangs.
00:20:58Total arrest today with HSI investigations.
00:21:02And thank you, Stephen Miller.
00:21:04Thank you to Homeland Security.
00:21:06Thank you to everyone working hand-in-hand with the FBI on all of these transnational gangs.
00:21:13TDA has been a huge terror to our country, as well as MS-13, as well as Sinaloa cartels.
00:21:19No longer.
00:21:20No longer.
00:21:21These injunctions have allowed district court judges to be emperors.
00:21:26They vetoed all of President Trump's power, and they cannot do that.
00:21:32This has been a bipartisan problem that has lasted five presidential terms, five different presidents, and it has ended today.
00:21:43We will continue to fight for President Trump's policies.
00:21:46I want to thank the Office of White House Counsel, Dave Warrington.
00:21:50You and your staff have been incredible.
00:21:52Our Solicitor General's Office, John Sowers, Sarah Harris, and Todd Blanch and Emil Bovey.
00:21:58Todd's going to say a few words because we've had another major ruling today on transgender books and some other great wins that we've had.
00:22:06But no longer will they have this power in our country.
00:22:10It is the President's authority under his executive branch to do everything to fight for the American people, and he will continue to do that.
00:22:18That's why he was overwhelmingly elected.
00:22:21Thank you.
00:22:24Thank you.
00:22:25Today's a great day for the rule of law.
00:22:28It's a great day for the Justice Department, and it's one that's been a long time coming,
00:22:33and one that every American should have been waiting for with bated breath.
00:22:37And so I echo what the President said and Attorney General Bondi,
00:22:41that the Supreme Court did a great thing today, not only for this administration,
00:22:46but for every American in this country.
00:22:49If not for the injunctions case, we would be here talking about another great decision that came down today,
00:22:54the trans books case, which restores parents' rights to decide their child's education.
00:22:59seems like a basic idea, but it took the Supreme Court to set the record state,
00:23:05and we thank them for that.
00:23:06And now that ruling allows parents to opt out of dangerous trans ideology
00:23:11and make the decisions for their children that they believe is correct.
00:23:15And so we thank the Supreme Court for that.
00:23:17There's been multiple decisions over the past several weeks that just show why this injunction,
00:23:23why this nationwide injunction ban had to happen.
00:23:25For example, what I mean by that is local district court judges issuing decisions that are clearly contrary to law
00:23:33just because they don't like the policy of President Trump.
00:23:36And when it gets to the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court has to correct it.
00:23:39But that takes time.
00:23:40The Attorney General thanked our lawyers, and I'll do it again.
00:23:44Our lawyers are working 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
00:23:48to fight these injunctions and to emergency appeals, emergency stays,
00:23:52going back to the district court judge, asking them to change their view.
00:23:55And so their hard work is really paying off today, but over the past few weeks.
00:24:00We had a stay of an order that prevented DHS from moving aliens to a third country.
00:24:05We had a stay of an order that stopped the Department of Defense from implementing military redias,
00:24:10the EO that President Trump signed.
00:24:12We had another stay of an order forcing reinstatement of fired executive branch employees
00:24:17entirely within the President and Article 2, his right to do.
00:24:21We had a stay of, as you all know, of numerous doge cases.
00:24:24And again, every one of those stays requires a tremendous amount of work and effort
00:24:29by the lawyers and parties involved.
00:24:32And they should be doing other work.
00:24:33They should be doing the work that the President and this Administration demands
00:24:38and has a right to demand, and not fighting these local judges
00:24:42who don't make decisions based on the law.
00:24:45They make decisions because they just simply don't agree
00:24:47with the Administration's decision about a policy, and that's wrong.
00:24:51Thank you.
00:24:54Any questions?
00:24:57Yes, for Pam, please.
00:25:00Go ahead.
00:25:00Thank you, Madam Attorney General.
00:25:04So, as you know, the Supreme Court did not rule on the underlying constitutionality
00:25:09of the President's birthright citizenship order.
00:25:12So, what is the plan now?
00:25:14Are you going to try to implement the EO just in states
00:25:18where there isn't a legal challenge?
00:25:20Yes, so birthright citizenship will be decided in October,
00:25:24in the next session, by the Supreme Court,
00:25:26unless it comes down in the next few minutes.
00:25:27I guess it could come down, I think they're still deliberating right now on some cases.
00:25:33As you heard, we just got transgender books, which is a huge win.
00:25:36But most likely, that will be decided in October in the next session.
00:25:41However, it indirectly impacts us because, as you correctly pointed out,
00:25:45if there's a birthright citizenship case in Oregon,
00:25:48it will only affect the plaintiff in Oregon, not the entire country.
00:25:52So, yes, it's indirectly, but that's pending litigation,
00:25:55and we're waiting on that in the next term.
00:25:57And how concerned are you that the Supreme Court will come back
00:25:59and determine that the executive order is unconstitutional?
00:26:02We're very confident in the Supreme Court.
00:26:05But, again, it's pending litigation, and that will directly be determined in October.
00:26:09But it indirectly impacts every case in this country,
00:26:12and we're thrilled with their decision today.
00:26:15Peter.
00:26:15Madam Attorney General, thank you for being here to take our questions.
00:26:17A couple questions to the both of you.
00:26:19The EO goes, had a 30-day grace period before it goes into effect.
00:26:23Is there any thought about trying to make it effective immediately,
00:26:27within that period of time?
00:26:28We're going to follow the law.
00:26:29We're going to make those decisions,
00:26:31and we're going to do what's right in the bounds of the law.
00:26:33And then the DOJ didn't ask the justices to rule on the merits
00:26:36of the birthright citizenship ban, just for explanation purposes, why?
00:26:40Sure, because that's going to come down in October.
00:26:44This was huge because it's indirectly impacted today.
00:26:48As I said, now it's case by case.
00:26:51Let me reiterate, of the 35 of the 40 nationwide injunctions
00:26:56filed against this president,
00:26:58against his executive authority as president of the United States,
00:27:0235 of them came from Maryland, D.C., Massachusetts, California, Washington.
00:27:09And that's crazy, these five districts.
00:27:12So, yes, it indirectly impacts us.
00:27:14It will be a separate decision in October.
00:27:16Next question.
00:27:17Thank you, Mr. President.
00:27:18A question for you, sir.
00:27:20Do you believe this ends the power of the lower court judges to stop your agenda?
00:27:24Do you see this as a full green light for your agenda going forward?
00:27:27Well, you'd have to really speak to the lawyers about that.
00:27:29But this is really also a decision based on common sense.
00:27:33It didn't work the other way.
00:27:34It was a disaster where somebody from a certain location
00:27:38in a very liberal state or a liberal judge or a liberal group of judges
00:27:43could tie up a whole country for years
00:27:45because their decision would sometimes take years to overturn.
00:27:49We've overturned many of the decisions, but it would take years to do it.
00:27:52And we have to act quickly when it comes to illegal immigration.
00:27:56We have murderers, killers.
00:27:58We have drug dealers.
00:28:00We have what they've allowed to come into our country should never be forgotten.
00:28:04It should never be forgotten what they've done to our country.
00:28:07And we have to be able to act very quickly, and we're going to do that.
00:28:10Thank you.
00:28:11Just a thing.
00:28:11Let me call me Pony Barrett.
00:28:12Sir, I know that you praised her and her opinion here in this case.
00:28:16She has taken some heat, though, from some of your supporters
00:28:19who have labeled her weak, a squishy, a rattled law professor.
00:28:23What is your take on that?
00:28:24I don't know about that.
00:28:25I just have great respect for her.
00:28:27I always have.
00:28:28And her decision was brilliantly written today from all accounts.
00:28:32Yes.
00:28:32President Trump, transgender ruling.
00:28:33Please, President Trump.
00:28:35What would you say to Americans who fear that this is more and more
00:28:40concentration of power in the White House and the executive power?
00:28:43Well, this really brings back the Constitution.
00:28:45This is what it's all about.
00:28:47And this is really the opposite of that.
00:28:48I mean, the question is fine, but it's the opposite.
00:28:51The Constitution has been brought back.
00:28:54President Trump.
00:28:54Go ahead.
00:28:55Please.
00:28:56Thank you so much, President Trump.
00:28:57Illegal crossings in the border are zero now.
00:29:01Zero.
00:29:01Does everyone hear that?
00:29:03Zero.
00:29:04Trump, 2028.
00:29:06Do you intend President Trump?
00:29:08Who's that guy?
00:29:09I like him.
00:29:12I like him.
00:29:13He's working the cameras.
00:29:16With this new reality, President Trump, in the border,
00:29:18do you intend to engage personally with leaders from South America,
00:29:23not only Central America, in order to tackle this situation in a different way,
00:29:29and if you have a perspective of meeting some presidents from South America,
00:29:33as Brazil, for example?
00:29:34As an example, not South America, but NATO over the weekend.
00:29:38They have great respect for our country now.
00:29:41They did things that nobody thought was possible.
00:29:43They took funding from 2 percent to 5 percent.
00:29:46Nobody thought they'd ever pay the 2 percent, and now they're paying the 5 percent.
00:29:49It's over a trillion dollars more a year.
00:29:52Think of that.
00:29:52A trillion dollars.
00:29:54Nobody thought that could happen.
00:29:56That's a different group of people, different countries.
00:29:58But we get along with a lot of countries.
00:30:01We are respected again.
00:30:02Our country, the U.S., is respected again.
00:30:05Was not respected six months ago, I can tell you.
00:30:08Can we ask about the big deal?
00:30:10Yeah, go ahead, please.
00:30:11Mr. President, you have a deadline coming up on trade in two weeks.
00:30:15Which countries, if any, on trade, on tariffs?
00:30:18Which countries, if any, are close to agreements with the administration?
00:30:21Well, that's an interesting question.
00:30:23We've made a deal with China.
00:30:25We've made a deal with probably four or five different countries.
00:30:29With the U.K., it was a great deal for both.
00:30:32And we're in the process of making some others.
00:30:35But ultimately, in fact, Scott is here.
00:30:37Howard Lutnick, these two guys have been doing an incredible job.
00:30:40And the people that work with them have been doing an incredible job.
00:30:43But, you know, we have 200 countries.
00:30:45You could say 200 countries plus.
00:30:47We can't do that.
00:30:48So, at a certain point over the next week and a half or so,
00:30:51or maybe before, we're going to send out a letter.
00:30:54We've talked to many of the countries.
00:30:56And we're just going to tell them what they have to pay
00:30:58to do business in the United States.
00:31:00And it's going to go very quickly.
00:31:02But some of the bigger countries, India, I think we're going to reach a deal
00:31:06where we have the right to go in and trade.
00:31:08Right now, it's restricted.
00:31:09You can't walk in there.
00:31:10You can't even think about it.
00:31:11We're looking to get a full trade barrier dropping,
00:31:17which is unthinkable.
00:31:19And I'm not sure that that's going to happen.
00:31:20But as of this moment, we've agreed to that go into Indian trade.
00:31:23We're going to be trading in China.
00:31:25That's going to come a little bit down the road,
00:31:27but we're going to be trading in China.
00:31:28We have a lot of great things going,
00:31:30and we're getting along with countries.
00:31:31But some will be disappointed
00:31:33because they're going to have to pay tariffs.
00:31:35And we've taken in already hundreds of billions of dollars in tariffs.
00:31:40No inflation.
00:31:41The only problem we have is we have a Fed guy
00:31:43that doesn't understand what's happening.
00:31:45and it would be great if he'd lower the rate
00:31:47because we'd be able to borrow a lot cheaper.
00:31:51Yeah, go ahead, please.
00:31:54Why don't we keep it on this subject?
00:31:56This is such a big subject.
00:31:57You know what?
00:31:58Trade is so big, but this...
00:32:00I don't know.
00:32:01In a certain way, this might be bigger than trade.
00:32:03Apologize trade, Mr. President.
00:32:04I think this is bigger than trade.
00:32:06Yes, please.
00:32:07Go ahead.
00:32:07I was wondering, though, if you could...
00:32:08Go ahead.
00:32:08Sir, on the transgender ruling,
00:32:10the Supreme Court ruling
00:32:12that parents with religious objections
00:32:14can pull their kids out of public school lessons
00:32:16that use LGBTQ materials.
00:32:19Pam brought it up.
00:32:20Your reaction to that ruling today, sir?
00:32:21I think the ruling was a great ruling,
00:32:23and I think it's a great ruling for parents.
00:32:26It's really a ruling for parents.
00:32:27They lost control of the schools.
00:32:30They lost control of their child.
00:32:32And this is a tremendous victory for parents.
00:32:35And I'm not surprised by it,
00:32:36but I am surprised that it went this far.
00:32:40It took us to bring life back to normal.
00:32:42So it's wonderful.
00:32:43It's parental.
00:32:44And I kept saying,
00:32:45we will give you back your parental rights.
00:32:48They were taken away,
00:32:49and this is a tremendous victory for parents.
00:32:51Yeah.
00:32:51Mr. President, if you look at the...
00:32:53Back at the last week,
00:32:54it's been extraordinary in terms of the action
00:32:57in the Middle East.
00:32:58You were at The Hague.
00:32:59I'm wondering now...
00:32:59It's been a hell of a week, hasn't it?
00:33:00I'm wondering now if you believe that Iran...
00:33:02It's been some week.
00:33:03I'm wondering now, sir,
00:33:04if you believe that Iran
00:33:05has given up its long history of ambitions
00:33:09with nuclear weapons,
00:33:10or what you would like to see from them
00:33:12to prove that they do.
00:33:14And what type of meetings
00:33:15is your administration looking for
00:33:17next week with Iran?
00:33:19So Iran wants to meet.
00:33:20As you know,
00:33:21their sites were obliterated.
00:33:23They're very evil nuclear sites.
00:33:24They now have been proven.
00:33:26We had some fake news for a little while.
00:33:28The same people that covered
00:33:30the Hunter Biden laptop was from Russia.
00:33:32the same people that did three or four
00:33:35of the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax.
00:33:37Put on their ambitions.
00:33:38No, no, wait, wait.
00:33:39Just listen.
00:33:40They came up with something
00:33:41that delayed the credit
00:33:43that our great pilots
00:33:44and these great Americans...
00:33:45I mean, what talent that was.
00:33:47And they hit it right down in the spot.
00:33:4952,000 feet.
00:33:51Think of this.
00:33:51Dark, no moon.
00:33:53You couldn't see a thing.
00:33:54And they hit the refrigerator door,
00:33:56as they say.
00:33:57That's the size of a target.
00:33:58and overwhelmingly...
00:34:01And it's amazing what was done.
00:34:04We're the only ones
00:34:05that could have done it.
00:34:05And we took out
00:34:06two of the other sites also,
00:34:09in addition to that.
00:34:10We finished them off.
00:34:11That was a very evil intention.
00:34:13I believe that...
00:34:15And again, time will tell.
00:34:17But I don't believe
00:34:18that they're going to go
00:34:19back into nuclear anytime soon.
00:34:22They spent over a trillion dollars
00:34:23on nuclear,
00:34:24and they never got it together.
00:34:25and nothing was moved
00:34:27from the site, by the way.
00:34:28To do that is very dangerous.
00:34:30It's very, very heavy material.
00:34:32Those cars were most likely
00:34:33the cars of masons
00:34:34because they were pouring concrete
00:34:36at the top, at the hatch,
00:34:38as you know,
00:34:39the hatch going into the nuclear site.
00:34:41They wanted to reinforce it,
00:34:43and they had some masons there
00:34:45pouring concrete.
00:34:46By the way,
00:34:46that concrete was obliterated.
00:34:48It hit exactly at the concrete.
00:34:51It was...
00:34:51I don't think it had a chance to dry,
00:34:53but everything's down there.
00:34:55it's under millions of tons of rock.
00:35:01Please.
00:35:02Yes.
00:35:03Your administration has said
00:35:04that El Salvador
00:35:05is one of the safest countries
00:35:06in the hemisphere.
00:35:07So why haven't you yet canceled
00:35:09temporary protective status
00:35:10to that country?
00:35:11Was it part of the deal?
00:35:12Well, we'll take a look.
00:35:13We've had a great relationship
00:35:14with El Salvador.
00:35:15They have a fantastic leader.
00:35:17They built a massive prison system.
00:35:21And I don't know exactly why,
00:35:23but it's a hell of a system.
00:35:24And we bring people there,
00:35:26and when they go there,
00:35:27they don't get out.
00:35:29And frankly,
00:35:29when they hear they have to go there,
00:35:30they become very nice people.
00:35:32They become very nice people.
00:35:34It's a tough system,
00:35:34but it's a brilliant system.
00:35:36And it's a system done
00:35:38by a very, very good leader.
00:35:40We'll talk about El Salvador.
00:35:41A lot of respect.
00:35:42Yeah, please.
00:35:45Thank you.
00:35:45A question for you,
00:35:46and then a question
00:35:46for the Attorney General.
00:35:48As you go into negotiations
00:35:50and talks with Iran,
00:35:51are you demanding not only
00:35:53that there would be
00:35:53no uranium production
00:35:54inside of Iran,
00:35:56but also that Iran
00:35:57would turn over
00:35:58all existing stockpiles
00:36:00of uranium?
00:36:01Well, you know,
00:36:01we're a little early for that,
00:36:02but something like that.
00:36:04Yeah, we'll do something like that.
00:36:05Let me say that I've been saying
00:36:07for 25 years,
00:36:09even as a civilian,
00:36:10you cannot let them have
00:36:12a nuclear weapon.
00:36:14And that's what happened.
00:36:15It's been obliterated.
00:36:16It would be years
00:36:17before they could ever get going.
00:36:18And I really think
00:36:19it's probably the last thing.
00:36:21They have to recover
00:36:21from a hell of a tough war.
00:36:24Would you also be demanding
00:36:25that the IAEA have full rights
00:36:27to inspect in Iran?
00:36:29Or somebody, yeah.
00:36:30Or somebody that we respect,
00:36:31including ourselves.
00:36:33And a question for both
00:36:34the President and the Attorney General.
00:36:36Under birthright citizenship,
00:36:37if this is implemented,
00:36:39who would be tasked
00:36:40with actually vetting citizenship?
00:36:42And would this be a situation
00:36:43where you have nurses and doctors
00:36:45checking for citizenship of parents?
00:36:49This is all pending litigation.
00:36:50It's going to be decided
00:36:52in October by the Supreme Court,
00:36:55and we'll discuss that
00:36:56after the litigation.
00:36:57If you have an undocumented baby,
00:36:59would that baby
00:36:59then be an enforcement priority?
00:37:01The violent criminals
00:37:04in our country
00:37:06are the priority now.
00:37:07Let me put it in perspective.
00:37:09Today marked the 2,711th arrest
00:37:14in our country
00:37:15of TDA members.
00:37:16Just TDA.
00:37:17Everyone in this room agrees
00:37:19they are one of the most
00:37:20violent criminal organizations
00:37:22in the world.
00:37:24And the Biden administration
00:37:25let them walk into our country,
00:37:27walk into our country
00:37:28for the last four years.
00:37:302,711 of them today
00:37:34have been arrested in our country.
00:37:36That is the priority of Donald Trump.
00:37:37That is the priority of this country,
00:37:39of Homeland Security,
00:37:40of all of our lawyers,
00:37:42of FBI.
00:37:43That's the priority.
00:37:44That will be discussed in October
00:37:46when the Supreme Court
00:37:47hopefully rules in our favor,
00:37:49and we're very confident of that.
00:37:50But you should all feel safer now
00:37:52that President Trump
00:37:53can deport all of these,
00:37:55all of these gangs,
00:37:57and not one district court judge
00:37:59can think they're an emperor
00:38:00over this administration
00:38:02and his executive powers
00:38:03and why the people
00:38:04of the United States
00:38:05elected him.
00:38:08I just might add one thing.
00:38:11And, you know,
00:38:11they used birthright citizenship,
00:38:14some of the worst people,
00:38:15some of the cartels,
00:38:15to get people into our country,
00:38:17just so you know.
00:38:18And again, I say,
00:38:19if you look at the end
00:38:20of the Civil War,
00:38:21the 1800s,
00:38:22it was a very turbulent time.
00:38:24If you take the end day,
00:38:25was it 1869 or whatever?
00:38:28But you take that exact day,
00:38:29that's when the case was filed.
00:38:31And the case ended shortly thereafter.
00:38:33This has to do with
00:38:34the babies of slaves,
00:38:36very, very obviously.
00:38:38And I think we're going to win.
00:38:39People didn't,
00:38:40I don't think they went about
00:38:41discussing it right.
00:38:42I came along and we looked
00:38:44and we said,
00:38:45wait a minute, this is wrong.
00:38:46We've been looking at
00:38:47birthright citizenship wrong for years.
00:38:49But they've used it.
00:38:50that the cartels have used
00:38:51birthright citizenship
00:38:52to get very bad people in.
00:38:54And what Pam's doing
00:38:55and what Todd and everybody else,
00:38:57what they're doing at DOJ
00:38:58and all over,
00:38:59FBI, ICE, Border Patrol.
00:39:02These are incredible people.
00:39:04They're trying to keep our country safe
00:39:06and they don't want
00:39:07to have people come in.
00:39:08This is just another way
00:39:09that they get illegal immigrants
00:39:11into our country
00:39:12and in some cases,
00:39:14very, very bad ones.
00:39:15Go ahead.
00:39:15Thank you, Mr. President.
00:39:16On your tax bill,
00:39:17if I could for a moment,
00:39:18senators are racing
00:39:20to rewrite parts of it right now
00:39:22after the Senate parliamentarian
00:39:24ruled that sections of it
00:39:25were outside of the process
00:39:27that they're using
00:39:28to get this through.
00:39:29Do you think that senators
00:39:30should respect
00:39:31the decisions
00:39:32of the parliamentarian?
00:39:34And what have you personally done
00:39:35in the last 48 hours
00:39:37to try and get Republican senators
00:39:39who are against the bill
00:39:40to a yes?
00:39:41Well, look,
00:39:41it's a great bill.
00:39:43It's a massive tax cut.
00:39:44If it's not approved,
00:39:46your taxes will go up by 68%.
00:39:48Think of that, 68%,
00:39:50a record,
00:39:50the highest in the history.
00:39:52The Democrats won't approve it
00:39:53only because politically
00:39:54it's so good for the Republicans.
00:39:56The Democrats aren't approving it.
00:39:58But think of what
00:39:59they're not approving.
00:39:59They're not approving border security.
00:40:02We've done a great job
00:40:02at the border,
00:40:03but we have to add some war.
00:40:05We have to do various things.
00:40:07We have no money for that.
00:40:08We have no money for the border.
00:40:10We have no money
00:40:10for so many things.
00:40:11But if the Democrats,
00:40:14it would be interesting
00:40:15to see if we get
00:40:15any Democrat votes.
00:40:16We should.
00:40:17If I were a Democrat,
00:40:18I would absolutely,
00:40:19maybe Fetterman,
00:40:20because he seems to be
00:40:20the most sensible one lately.
00:40:22If I were a Democrat,
00:40:24I would vote for this bill
00:40:25all day long
00:40:25because it's tax cuts
00:40:27and so many other things
00:40:28that are common sense.
00:40:30They're basic things.
00:40:31I think they're doing fine.
00:40:34The parliamentarian's
00:40:35been a little difficult.
00:40:37And I would say
00:40:38that I disagree
00:40:39with the parliamentarian
00:40:40on some things
00:40:41and on other ways
00:40:42he's been fine.
00:40:43But we'll have to see.
00:40:44It's a big issue.
00:40:46I will tell you this.
00:40:47If that bill doesn't pass,
00:40:49the country will get
00:40:50a 68 percent tax increase.
00:40:53So think of this.
00:40:54You're a Democrat
00:40:55and you vote against it.
00:40:57That means you're voting
00:40:58in favor
00:40:58because essentially
00:41:00you're voting in favor
00:41:01of the largest tax hike
00:41:03in the history of our country.
00:41:05And you can't do that.
00:41:06In addition,
00:41:07we're cutting costs
00:41:07by 1.7 trillion dollars
00:41:09and it won't affect anybody.
00:41:11It's just fraud,
00:41:12waste, and abuse.
00:41:13Mr. President,
00:41:14Mr. President,
00:41:14a leading global economist
00:41:19just did a 180
00:41:20and says your tariff plan,
00:41:22you may have outsmarted
00:41:23everybody with it.
00:41:24What is your message?
00:41:25I love this.
00:41:27I love this question.
00:41:28This is the favorite.
00:41:29This is the best question
00:41:30I've ever been asked
00:41:30because I've been going
00:41:31through abuse
00:41:32for years on this.
00:41:34Because as you know,
00:41:35we're taking in
00:41:35hundreds of billions
00:41:37of dollars,
00:41:39no inflation whatsoever.
00:41:41But, Mr. President,
00:41:42what is your message
00:41:43to critics
00:41:44who think your tariff plan
00:41:45will cause a recession?
00:41:46I think they should go
00:41:47back to business school.
00:41:48It's so obvious.
00:41:50It's so obvious.
00:41:51I mean,
00:41:51we're taking in billions
00:41:53and billions of dollars
00:41:54from China
00:41:54and a lot of other countries.
00:41:56We took in...
00:41:57I had a call
00:41:58from somebody
00:41:59in the House
00:42:00and a high official.
00:42:03Sir, we have a problem.
00:42:04We don't know what to do.
00:42:05The books are a mess.
00:42:06I said,
00:42:06what do you mean by the books?
00:42:07The books,
00:42:08the money coming in.
00:42:09It's so terrible.
00:42:10I figured,
00:42:11oh boy,
00:42:12what's this?
00:42:13I don't like this question.
00:42:14I said,
00:42:14so what seems...
00:42:16There's so much money coming in
00:42:17and there must be
00:42:18some kind of an accounting mistake
00:42:20because we have
00:42:20hundreds of billions
00:42:22of dollars more money
00:42:23than we thought.
00:42:24I said,
00:42:24do me a favor.
00:42:25Go check the...
00:42:26Call me back.
00:42:27You have to call me back.
00:42:28Check the tariff column.
00:42:31Calls me back
00:42:31two hours later.
00:42:32He says,
00:42:33you're right.
00:42:33We took in
00:42:3488 billion in tariffs.
00:42:36They have so much money coming in.
00:42:38But more important
00:42:39than the money coming in,
00:42:40we have companies coming in,
00:42:42factories coming in,
00:42:43auto plants being built,
00:42:45AI is being built here
00:42:46instead of being built
00:42:47all over Europe and Asia.
00:42:49We have all of it.
00:42:50and we have over
00:42:5115 trillion dollars,
00:42:53just about, Scott.
00:42:54I think we're right
00:42:54about that number.
00:42:56We went to Saudi Arabia.
00:42:58We went to Qatar.
00:42:59We went to UAE.
00:43:00Very smart people,
00:43:01very smart leaders,
00:43:02great leaders.
00:43:03And we took in
00:43:035.1 trillion dollars
00:43:05just there.
00:43:06Without the tariffs...
00:43:07I mean,
00:43:07they also liked
00:43:08a thing called
00:43:09November 5th,
00:43:10November 6th,
00:43:11and November 7th.
00:43:12That was a very good
00:43:13little period of time.
00:43:14It's called
00:43:14the presidential election.
00:43:16You know,
00:43:16you used to have
00:43:17one-day election.
00:43:17now you have it go over.
00:43:18But even if you just
00:43:19took that little period,
00:43:20because it was pretty obvious
00:43:21it was going to be
00:43:22a landslide.
00:43:23But,
00:43:24and they like that,
00:43:24but they love the tariffs.
00:43:26I had Texas Instruments
00:43:28come in the other day,
00:43:29big company,
00:43:30and he said,
00:43:31we're putting in
00:43:3160 billion dollars
00:43:33into new plants
00:43:34and new equipment,
00:43:35new everything.
00:43:36Sir,
00:43:36you're going to keep
00:43:37the tariffs,
00:43:37aren't you?
00:43:37Because whoever
00:43:38took the tariffs off,
00:43:40and we are going
00:43:41to absolutely keep it.
00:43:42And they're worried
00:43:43that somebody that,
00:43:44like this communist
00:43:45from New York,
00:43:46someday gets elected.
00:43:47I can't believe
00:43:47that's happening.
00:43:48That's a terrible thing
00:43:49for our country,
00:43:50by the way.
00:43:51He's a communist.
00:43:52We're going to go
00:43:53to a communistic,
00:43:53that's so bad
00:43:54for New York.
00:43:55But the rest of the country
00:43:56is revolting against it.
00:43:58But if somebody
00:43:59got elected,
00:44:00they're afraid
00:44:01that if this was taken off,
00:44:02well,
00:44:02we're going to guarantee
00:44:03it's never going
00:44:04to be taken off.
00:44:05And again,
00:44:06we're taking in hundreds,
00:44:07think of this,
00:44:08hundreds of billions
00:44:09of dollars.
00:44:11And they were all confused
00:44:12because they've never
00:44:13seen this before.
00:44:14You know,
00:44:14it's always the other way.
00:44:15We don't have enough money.
00:44:16so much money
00:44:17is coming in
00:44:18at levels
00:44:19that nobody's ever seen.
00:44:20But most importantly,
00:44:21we have factories
00:44:22being built,
00:44:23car plants being built,
00:44:25companies moving
00:44:26to our country
00:44:26like never before.
00:44:28If you look at 15 trillion,
00:44:29and that's only
00:44:30in a few months.
00:44:31You know,
00:44:31I haven't been here
00:44:31that long.
00:44:33The president's,
00:44:34like the last one,
00:44:35was a disaster.
00:44:36One of the,
00:44:36he's the worst president
00:44:37in the history
00:44:38of our country,
00:44:38by the way.
00:44:39What he did
00:44:39on our border
00:44:40can never,
00:44:41ever be forgotten.
00:44:42To me,
00:44:42that's the worst
00:44:43of all the things.
00:44:43And he's done
00:44:44some terrible things.
00:44:45Grossly incompetent.
00:44:47Nobody knew it was him
00:44:47because I don't think
00:44:48it was him.
00:44:49I think it was whoever
00:44:49was controlling
00:44:50the autopen.
00:44:52But our country
00:44:53is doing great.
00:44:54And those leaders
00:44:55and other leaders
00:44:56I just left,
00:44:57as you know,
00:44:58a large group
00:44:59of the most highly
00:45:00respected people.
00:45:01And that includes
00:45:02big countries.
00:45:04When you look at Germany
00:45:05and France
00:45:06and Spain,
00:45:07although Spain
00:45:07didn't come through,
00:45:08but they will.
00:45:09By the way,
00:45:10guaranteed they will.
00:45:11That was the only country
00:45:12that sort of tried
00:45:13to hold back
00:45:14on putting up the money.
00:45:15But just so you know,
00:45:16they said,
00:45:17it's unbelievable
00:45:18what's happened
00:45:19to the USA.
00:45:20You were a dead country.
00:45:22We didn't respect
00:45:23the country,
00:45:25the leader.
00:45:26You were dead
00:45:27as a doornail.
00:45:29One said to me,
00:45:31you went from being
00:45:31a dead country,
00:45:33you are right now
00:45:33the hottest country
00:45:35anywhere in the world.
00:45:36The whole world
00:45:37is talking about the USA
00:45:38and everybody
00:45:40wants a part of it.
00:45:41and they're pouring
00:45:42into our country.
00:45:42And you're going
00:45:43to see those numbers.
00:45:43Thank you for the question.
00:45:48Go ahead.
00:45:50Yeah, go ahead.
00:45:50Please.
00:45:51The Pressure Thank you,
00:45:51Mr. President.
00:45:52I have a question
00:45:53about trade.
00:45:53Secretary Bessent has said
00:45:55that he hopes tariff deals
00:45:57with major partners
00:45:58will be done by Labor Day.
00:46:00So if some deals
00:46:01are not done
00:46:02by your July 9th deadline,
00:46:04will some countries' tariffs
00:46:05go back up
00:46:06or will they stay
00:46:07where they are now?
00:46:07The President Yeah,
00:46:07well, there are some
00:46:08countries that are used
00:46:08to ripping us off,
00:46:10to be honest with you.
00:46:11And I don't want
00:46:11to name them,
00:46:12but you sort of
00:46:13can name them.
00:46:15And they're so used
00:46:16to just, you know,
00:46:18getting, taking it
00:46:19billions and billions
00:46:20of, look,
00:46:21we had a trade deficit
00:46:22of more than
00:46:24a trillion dollars.
00:46:25Think of it.
00:46:25A trillion.
00:46:26A trade deficit.
00:46:27That's because nobody cared.
00:46:29Nobody, we cared a lot
00:46:30when, you know,
00:46:31I took in hundreds
00:46:33of billions of dollars
00:46:34in tariff.
00:46:34We had the greatest
00:46:35economy in history
00:46:36up until now.
00:46:37I think we're going
00:46:37to blow it away.
00:46:39But during my time,
00:46:40and especially prior
00:46:41to COVID,
00:46:42we had the greatest
00:46:42economy in the history
00:46:44of our country.
00:46:45I think we're going
00:46:45to blow it away now
00:46:46based on the kind
00:46:47of numbers
00:46:47that we're seeing.
00:46:49But some countries
00:46:50are very angry
00:46:51because they've been
00:46:51ripping us off
00:46:52for years.
00:46:53They've been making
00:46:54billions and billions
00:46:55of dollars.
00:46:56There was nobody
00:46:56to negotiate with.
00:46:57They could do
00:46:58whatever they want.
00:46:58They charge us tariffs,
00:46:59by the way,
00:47:01at numbers that
00:47:01we've never seen before.
00:47:03And we ended up losing
00:47:04much more than
00:47:05a trillion dollars
00:47:06a year.
00:47:06A trillion dollars
00:47:07a year on trade.
00:47:10And now they're
00:47:11being met with
00:47:12a force that's
00:47:13far greater than them
00:47:14and they don't like it.
00:47:15So they're upset
00:47:16because instead
00:47:17of making, you know,
00:47:19five billion dollars,
00:47:21they're going to
00:47:21break even.
00:47:22Well, they'll make
00:47:23a little bit.
00:47:23I want to be nice.
00:47:24They'll make a little bit.
00:47:25Oh, we'll make
00:47:25a little bit.
00:47:26It's a big difference.
00:47:28Yeah, please go.
00:47:30Go ahead.
00:47:30Red, red, red.
00:47:31On the 2020 election,
00:47:33is there any more
00:47:34information on
00:47:35the special prosecutor?
00:47:36So many Americans
00:47:37still have questions
00:47:38about the 2020 election.
00:47:39And speaking of rogue judges,
00:47:41would you consider
00:47:42appointing somebody
00:47:43at DOJ maybe
00:47:44to investigate the judges
00:47:45that allowed
00:47:46for the political
00:47:47persecution of you,
00:47:48your family,
00:47:48and your supporters
00:47:49during the Biden
00:47:49administration?
00:47:51I love you.
00:47:52Who are you?
00:47:52I'm Clara from Lindell TV.
00:47:54Well, it's just
00:47:55a very nice question.
00:47:57And it's not a setup.
00:47:58I have no idea
00:47:59who you are,
00:48:00but I appreciate
00:48:00that question.
00:48:01All I can say
00:48:02is we're not here
00:48:03for that.
00:48:04I hope so.
00:48:05I hope they're doing
00:48:06a thing because
00:48:07that election
00:48:07was rigged
00:48:08and stolen
00:48:08and we can't
00:48:09allow that to happen.
00:48:10You know,
00:48:10a lot of people
00:48:11tell me,
00:48:12sir, you just won
00:48:13the greatest election
00:48:14in the history
00:48:14of our country.
00:48:15You won numbers
00:48:16that won all
00:48:17seven swing states,
00:48:18won the popular vote,
00:48:20won everything.
00:48:22Sir, go on
00:48:23with your life.
00:48:25And many people
00:48:26say that,
00:48:27good people,
00:48:28friends of mine.
00:48:28Then you have
00:48:29people that say
00:48:29that same thing,
00:48:31go on with your life,
00:48:31but you have
00:48:32to find out
00:48:32what happened
00:48:33because you can't
00:48:35let that happen again.
00:48:36Look at what
00:48:37this lunatic did.
00:48:38Look at what he did.
00:48:40He opened our borders
00:48:41to people
00:48:41that were murderers,
00:48:4211,888 to be exact,
00:48:45murderers.
00:48:46And we've captured
00:48:47many of those murderers
00:48:48and we're bringing them back.
00:48:50Some of them
00:48:51are so dangerous
00:48:52that we don't even
00:48:53want to bring them back.
00:48:53We're afraid they're going
00:48:54to try and come back in.
00:48:56But he allowed people
00:48:57to come into this country,
00:48:58people from mental institutions,
00:49:01insane asylums.
00:49:02That's a mental institution
00:49:03on steroids.
00:49:04People from mental institutions,
00:49:06gang members,
00:49:08drug dealers,
00:49:10people, oh, jails,
00:49:12being emptied out
00:49:13into our country.
00:49:14Venezuela emptied out
00:49:15almost its entire
00:49:16prison population
00:49:17into our country.
00:49:19But I don't want
00:49:19to blame them.
00:49:20Many countries
00:49:21have done that.
00:49:22The Congo,
00:49:23you know,
00:49:23we have a great press conference
00:49:25coming up later
00:49:26and it's the Congo
00:49:27and Rwanda.
00:49:30You know,
00:49:31they were fighting
00:49:31for years
00:49:33and it was machetes,
00:49:35it was vicious,
00:49:36it was as vicious
00:49:37people's heads
00:49:38being chopped off.
00:49:39And I have a man
00:49:40who's very good
00:49:41in that part of the world,
00:49:42very smart,
00:49:43and put them together
00:49:44and we're signing
00:49:45a peace treaty today.
00:49:46First time in many years
00:49:47they're going to have peace
00:49:48and it's a big deal.
00:49:51You know,
00:49:51we talk about Russia
00:49:52and we're going to work,
00:49:53we're working that one.
00:49:54and President Putin
00:49:55called up
00:49:56and he said,
00:49:56I'd love to help you
00:49:57with Iran.
00:49:59I said,
00:49:59do me a favor,
00:50:01I'll handle Iran.
00:50:02Help me with Russia,
00:50:03we got to get
00:50:04that one settled.
00:50:05And I think something's
00:50:06going to happen there.
00:50:07But we did some,
00:50:09we did some great work.
00:50:10India and Pakistan,
00:50:11that was going to be,
00:50:12maybe nuclear,
00:50:13we did that.
00:50:14We did a lot of work.
00:50:15I don't know
00:50:15if there's ever been
00:50:16a president
00:50:17that's done much more.
00:50:19Serbia, Kosovo,
00:50:20who's going to go at it,
00:50:21going to be a big war.
00:50:23I said,
00:50:23you go at it,
00:50:24there's no trade
00:50:24with the United States.
00:50:26They said,
00:50:27well,
00:50:27maybe we won't go at it.
00:50:29That's what happened
00:50:29with India and Pakistan.
00:50:32I was negotiating
00:50:33with both of them
00:50:34and I said to Scott,
00:50:35I said to Howard,
00:50:37cancel all deals
00:50:38with India and Pakistan.
00:50:40They're not trading
00:50:40with us
00:50:41because they're in a war.
00:50:42They called back,
00:50:43what do we do?
00:50:44I said,
00:50:44look,
00:50:44you want to have trade
00:50:46with the United States,
00:50:47it's great,
00:50:48but you want to go
00:50:49and start using nuclear weapons
00:50:50on each other?
00:50:51We're not going to allow that.
00:50:52and they both agreed,
00:50:54both have great leaders,
00:50:55they both agreed
00:50:56not to do it.
00:50:57So we did a lot,
00:50:58but I appreciate
00:50:59that question.
00:51:00I was just speaking
00:51:10with Senator Ron Johnson
00:51:11on the one big beautiful bill
00:51:13and he says
00:51:13he really wants
00:51:14to get to yes for you
00:51:15and get this accomplished.
00:51:16He does,
00:51:17he's a good man.
00:51:17But he also said
00:51:18that he needs more time
00:51:19and he is not certain
00:51:20that the July 4th deadline
00:51:21is possible
00:51:22because there's too much work
00:51:24to do.
00:51:24He's a good man.
00:51:25Ron Johnson's doing
00:51:25a good job.
00:51:26He's very committed.
00:51:28Every Republican senator
00:51:29is committed
00:51:30and you know,
00:51:31you could have
00:51:32a couple of grandstanders
00:51:34in all fairness,
00:51:34you could have somebody else
00:51:35and it's very dangerous
00:51:37because our country
00:51:38would go from being
00:51:39the most successful country
00:51:40in the world
00:51:41to who knows
00:51:41what happens
00:51:42with a 68%.
00:51:43Think of it,
00:51:4468% tax increase.
00:51:46That was given
00:51:47by the Democrats
00:51:48because they like high taxes.
00:51:50I don't know what happened.
00:51:51You know,
00:51:51all my life
00:51:52I'd grow up
00:51:53and I'd watch politicians
00:51:54talking and I'd say,
00:51:55oh, that's fun
00:51:56and they were always saying,
00:51:57we will cut your taxes,
00:51:59we will cut your tax.
00:52:00I never heard it.
00:52:01They say,
00:52:01we will raise your taxes
00:52:03and they elect people
00:52:05like this guy in New York
00:52:06that maybe has a chance.
00:52:07I find it hard to believe
00:52:08but he maybe has a chance.
00:52:10They want to raise your taxes.
00:52:11so they want to see
00:52:12a 68% tax increase.
00:52:15That's more money
00:52:16than anybody could afford.
00:52:17You'd go into a depression
00:52:18if that ever happened.
00:52:20So I think there's a lot
00:52:21of pressure
00:52:21to get that approved.
00:52:25How important
00:52:26is the July 4th deadline
00:52:27to you
00:52:28if the people's deadline
00:52:29It's important.
00:52:31We'd like to get it done
00:52:32by that time
00:52:33if possible.
00:52:34Look,
00:52:34we have a lot
00:52:35of very committed people
00:52:36and they feel very strongly
00:52:37about a subject,
00:52:38subjects that you're
00:52:39not even thinking about
00:52:40that are important
00:52:41to Republicans.
00:52:43The problem we have
00:52:44is that it's a great bill.
00:52:47It's a popular bill
00:52:48but we'll get no Democrats
00:52:49only because they don't
00:52:50want to vote for Trump.
00:52:51If they,
00:52:53if that bill was their bill,
00:52:54oh, they would be so happy.
00:52:56It's so great for our military.
00:52:57It's great for everything.
00:53:00And they would normally vote
00:53:02but because their hatred of Trump,
00:53:03they have Trump derangement syndrome
00:53:05at levels never seen before.
00:53:07and instead of voting
00:53:09for a tax cut,
00:53:11they're voting
00:53:12for a tax increase
00:53:13of 68%.
00:53:14They're voting
00:53:14to destroy Social Security,
00:53:17destroy Medicare,
00:53:18and destroy Medicaid.
00:53:20And we're voting
00:53:21to make them perfect
00:53:22and to make them better,
00:53:24make them stronger
00:53:25and better.
00:53:25They're going to destroy Medicaid
00:53:26and they're going
00:53:27to destroy Medicare
00:53:28and Social Security
00:53:29will follow.
00:53:30If you vote
00:53:31for the Democrats,
00:53:32you're dead
00:53:33on those three things.
00:53:34Thank you, Mr. President.
00:53:38On a related subject,
00:53:39many Democrats have said
00:53:40that they are not going
00:53:42to support crypto bills
00:53:43in Congress
00:53:44only because of you
00:53:45and your family's
00:53:46personal crypto ventures.
00:53:48And these votes
00:53:49are in some cases
00:53:50needed to pass.
00:53:51Are you open
00:53:51to the idea
00:53:52of pulling away
00:53:53from your personal crypto ventures
00:53:55just for the next few years
00:53:56if that helps
00:53:57get these crypto bills passed
00:53:58in the next few months?
00:53:59Well, it's a very funny thing,
00:54:00crypto.
00:54:01So I became a fan of crypto
00:54:03and to me,
00:54:04it's an industry.
00:54:05I view it as an industry
00:54:06and I'm president.
00:54:07And if we didn't have it,
00:54:08China would
00:54:08or somebody else would,
00:54:09but most likely China.
00:54:10China would love to.
00:54:12And we've dominated
00:54:13that industry.
00:54:13It's a big industry,
00:54:14by the way.
00:54:15In fact,
00:54:15when the stock market
00:54:16went down recently,
00:54:17crypto and Bitcoin
00:54:18and all of that
00:54:19went down much less
00:54:20than anybody else
00:54:21as a group.
00:54:22And we've created
00:54:23a very powerful industry
00:54:25and that's much more important
00:54:26than anything
00:54:27that we invest in.
00:54:28We invest in it,
00:54:30but really,
00:54:30that was an industry
00:54:31that wasn't doing
00:54:32particularly well.
00:54:33I got involved with it
00:54:34a couple of years ago
00:54:35and before this whole,
00:54:37before the second term.
00:54:38I got involved
00:54:39before I decided to run.
00:54:42I only decided to run
00:54:43because I saw
00:54:43what was happening
00:54:44and Biden was incompetent
00:54:45and the administration
00:54:46was crooked
00:54:47and incompetent.
00:54:49And I was in Bitcoin then,
00:54:51not knowing
00:54:52if I was going to
00:54:52do it a third time.
00:54:55So it's become amazing.
00:54:57I mean,
00:54:58it's the jobs
00:54:58that it produces.
00:55:00And I notice more
00:55:01and more you're paying
00:55:01Bitcoin.
00:55:02I mean,
00:55:02people are saying
00:55:03it takes a lot
00:55:04of pressure off the dollar
00:55:05and it's a great thing
00:55:07for our country.
00:55:08So I don't care
00:55:09about investing.
00:55:10You know,
00:55:11I have my,
00:55:11I have kids
00:55:12and they invest
00:55:13in different things.
00:55:14They do believe in it,
00:55:15but I'm president
00:55:16and what I did do there
00:55:18is build an industry
00:55:19that's very important.
00:55:20And you know,
00:55:20if we didn't have
00:55:21a China would,
00:55:22okay.
00:55:22Sir, Mr. President,
00:55:23I want to be on.
00:55:24With the glasses,
00:55:25gentlemen,
00:55:26go ahead, please.
00:55:27Go ahead.
00:55:28Thank you, Mr. President.
00:55:29So are you going
00:55:30to cut funds
00:55:31in the sanctuary states
00:55:32like, for instance,
00:55:33California
00:55:34that keep supporting
00:55:34illegal immigration
00:55:36and then these people
00:55:37work under the table?
00:55:37Yeah, we're giving them
00:55:38a hard time.
00:55:39And also,
00:55:40if a foreign policy question...
00:55:42They don't have
00:55:42a governor in California.
00:55:44They have a man
00:55:44that wants to give away
00:55:45everything to people
00:55:47that nobody's seen before.
00:55:49If we didn't go
00:55:50into Los Angeles
00:55:52with the military,
00:55:53which did a fantastic job,
00:55:55but if we didn't go
00:55:56into Los Angeles
00:55:57bringing in the National Guard,
00:55:58I would have brought
00:55:59the military if it was necessary
00:56:00because you have to.
00:56:02We have the right to.
00:56:03That was another thing
00:56:04upheld by the Supreme Court.
00:56:05But if we didn't go in
00:56:06with the National Guard
00:56:08and be strong and tough,
00:56:11you wouldn't maybe
00:56:12have Los Angeles.
00:56:13It would be like
00:56:13the rest of California,
00:56:15the rest of Los Angeles.
00:56:16They lost 25,000 houses
00:56:18in a fight.
00:56:19They should have lost none.
00:56:21You know,
00:56:21I sent the water down.
00:56:22and I had to break
00:56:23into their water supply
00:56:24because they just
00:56:25refused to do it.
00:56:26They're crazy.
00:56:27There's something wrong
00:56:27with them.
00:56:28They have plenty of water.
00:56:29They don't have droughts
00:56:29or anything.
00:56:30They have plenty.
00:56:31We let it come down
00:56:32from the Pacific Northwest.
00:56:33They routed all the water
00:56:35out into the Pacific Ocean
00:56:36for environmental reasons,
00:56:38okay?
00:56:39And now you have
00:56:4025,000 houses,
00:56:41none of which would have
00:56:42burned down
00:56:42if you had the water.
00:56:43They didn't have water.
00:56:44They didn't have water
00:56:44for the fire pumps.
00:56:45They didn't have water
00:56:46in the sprinkler systems
00:56:47that people put in.
00:56:48So the answer is
00:56:50we're going to work
00:56:51with governors.
00:56:52We're going to work
00:56:52with radical left Democrats
00:56:54and Democrats.
00:56:55And we're going to make
00:56:56it good for everybody.
00:56:57We'll have to stop
00:56:58the crime in those
00:56:59or in the case
00:57:01of the cities.
00:57:02I think I can say
00:57:03just about all cities
00:57:05with heavy crime
00:57:06are run by Democrats.
00:57:09Go ahead.
00:57:13Yeah, with the glasses.
00:57:15Go ahead.
00:57:16Yes.
00:57:17Yeah, no, no.
00:57:18The man behind you.
00:57:19Yeah, please.
00:57:19President Trump,
00:57:20Anthony Mershaq
00:57:21from MTV, Lebanon.
00:57:22I want to ask you
00:57:23regarding the threats
00:57:24posed by Iran's allies
00:57:25and proxies operating
00:57:27in the U.S.
00:57:28They were threatening
00:57:28your life.
00:57:29So what do you say
00:57:30about that?
00:57:30And regarding the Lebanon
00:57:32because Hezbollah
00:57:33is as well part
00:57:34of Iran's allies.
00:57:35Is there any time frame
00:57:36in Lebanon
00:57:37regarding disarming
00:57:39Hezbollah in Lebanon?
00:57:40Yeah.
00:57:41Lebanon is a great place
00:57:43with brilliant people.
00:57:44You know, it was known
00:57:45for the professors
00:57:46and doctors
00:57:47and had an incredible
00:57:48history.
00:57:48and hopefully
00:57:49we can bring it back again.
00:57:50I just appointed
00:57:52a friend of mine
00:57:53who's Lebanese
00:57:53and I didn't know
00:57:55he was Lebanese.
00:57:55I've known him
00:57:56for 20 years.
00:57:57Very, very successful man.
00:57:59And I just appointed him
00:58:01and I said,
00:58:02why would you want that?
00:58:03He said,
00:58:04because I was born there.
00:58:05I was raised there.
00:58:06I love it.
00:58:07I love it so much.
00:58:08I said, you know,
00:58:08it's very dangerous
00:58:09going to Lebanon
00:58:10as ambassador.
00:58:12And he said,
00:58:13that's what they say,
00:58:14but I don't care
00:58:15about danger.
00:58:15I mean,
00:58:16this is a guy
00:58:17that is just
00:58:17a very big business guy.
00:58:19He wants to give up
00:58:20his whole life
00:58:20to go to Lebanon
00:58:21because he believes
00:58:22in it so much.
00:58:23We're with Lebanon
00:58:24all the way.
00:58:25We'll try
00:58:25and straighten it out.
00:58:26You're threatening
00:58:27your life, right?
00:58:28So what action?
00:58:29Threaten my life?
00:58:30Yeah, they have threatened.
00:58:31I get that throbbing feeling
00:58:32every once in a while.
00:58:34I get that throbbing feeling.
00:58:35But you know what?
00:58:36That's okay.
00:58:38This is a dangerous business.
00:58:39What I do
00:58:40is a dangerous business.
00:58:41you know,
00:58:41I tell the story
00:58:42of the car companies
00:58:43and different people
00:58:44in different professions
00:58:45you have.
00:58:46Race car drivers
00:58:46as an example.
00:58:48One-tenth of one percent die.
00:58:52Bull riders.
00:58:53One-tenth of one percent.
00:58:55That's not a lot,
00:58:56but it's people die.
00:58:58When you're president,
00:58:59it's about five percent.
00:59:01If somebody would have told me that,
00:59:03maybe I wouldn't have run.
00:59:04Okay?
00:59:06This is a very dangerous profession.
00:59:11Yeah, please.
00:59:15Should, by the way,
00:59:15so many questions.
00:59:16Should we keep this going, Pam?
00:59:17Yes.
00:59:18Yes.
00:59:18Yes.
00:59:20Yes.
00:59:20This is the opposite of Biden.
00:59:24Biden would take a half a question
00:59:26and he'd leave
00:59:26without answering it.
00:59:27Go ahead.
00:59:29On Iran.
00:59:30You tell me when it gets boring.
00:59:32On Iran.
00:59:34On Iran.
00:59:35If Iran.
00:59:37Are you from Iran?
00:59:38No, I'm not from Iran.
00:59:39I'm from the UK.
00:59:39But if the intelligence reports
00:59:43conclude that Iran
00:59:44can enrich uranium
00:59:46to a level that concerns you,
00:59:49would you consider
00:59:49bombing the country again?
00:59:51Sure.
00:59:51Without question.
00:59:52Absolutely.
00:59:52And have you had any conversations?
00:59:53Turned out to be unbelievable.
00:59:56But, you know,
00:59:57our incredible flyers
00:59:59and our,
01:00:00I call them the shots.
01:00:02These guys are unbelievable.
01:00:03Think.
01:00:04From 52,000 feet,
01:00:05they hit the equivalent
01:00:06of a refrigerator door.
01:00:08They actually hit it right in the center,
01:00:09so it's much smaller than that.
01:00:11And just bomb after bomb
01:00:13going deeper, deeper,
01:00:14blowing up.
01:00:15Incredible, incredible thing.
01:00:17I don't know if you heard the general.
01:00:18He was very impressive.
01:00:19Raisin Cain.
01:00:20You know,
01:00:20he's the one that beat ISIS for me.
01:00:23And he did it in a matter of weeks.
01:00:25And I was told it was going to take
01:00:27four or five years.
01:00:28And when I got this job,
01:00:29I always said,
01:00:30if I get this job,
01:00:31I'm going to put that guy
01:00:32as the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
01:00:34and Dan Cain.
01:00:35And he,
01:00:36when I heard his name was Raisin,
01:00:38his nickname is Raisin,
01:00:39Raisin Cain,
01:00:40I said,
01:00:40you've got to be kidding.
01:00:41So I liked him right from the beginning.
01:00:42But he knocked out ISIS
01:00:43in a time that nobody ever thought possible.
01:00:47And when this attack was completed
01:00:48and so successful,
01:00:50I said,
01:00:50now I know how you knocked out ISIS so quickly.
01:00:53But we have the best people.
01:00:55We have the best equipment in the world.
01:00:57You know,
01:00:57I rebuilt the military during my four years,
01:01:00during my other term.
01:01:01We have the best equipment in the world.
01:01:03The problem is we gave away,
01:01:05you know,
01:01:05a lot of it,
01:01:06but small,
01:01:06relatively speaking.
01:01:07We gave a lot of,
01:01:08a lot of it away to Afghanistan.
01:01:10Shouldn't have happened.
01:01:11That just shows how incompetent they were.
01:01:12They gave all that equipment away.
01:01:13Billions and billions of dollars worth.
01:01:16Shouldn't have happened.
01:01:16But that was small compared to what we have.
01:01:19Now we have a great,
01:01:20a great military with great people.
01:01:22Okay.
01:01:24Yeah, please.
01:01:25Hello,
01:01:26Mr. President,
01:01:27congratulations.
01:01:27A couple of very different questions.
01:01:29One is Rwanda in 1994.
01:01:31As you,
01:01:32you grew up in New York,
01:01:33we all knew how horrific those attacks were.
01:01:35Congratulations on that treaty.
01:01:37There are talks that perhaps,
01:01:39That's going to take place today at three o'clock in the Oval Office.
01:01:41We're going to have a signing with Rwanda and the Congo.
01:01:45So I,
01:01:45I'm a little out of my league in that one because I didn't know too much about it.
01:01:49I knew one thing.
01:01:50They were going at it for many years and with machetes.
01:01:54It is one of the worst,
01:01:56one of the worst wars that anyone's ever seen.
01:01:58And I just happened to have somebody that was able to get it settled.
01:02:02I mean,
01:02:02just a brilliant person who is very comfortable in that part of the world.
01:02:07It's a very dangerous part of the world.
01:02:08They said,
01:02:08are you uncomfortable there?
01:02:10People are being killed.
01:02:12Schoolchildren are being raided and killed.
01:02:15And I don't even want to say how,
01:02:16but as viciously as I've ever heard.
01:02:19Are you uncomfortable?
01:02:20No,
01:02:20that's the part of the world that I know.
01:02:22Very comfortable.
01:02:23I was able to get them together and sell it.
01:02:25And not only that,
01:02:26we're getting for the United States a lot of the mineral rights from the Congo as part of it.
01:02:31They're so honored to be here.
01:02:33They never thought they'd be coming to it.
01:02:34Look,
01:02:35this is a very tough part of the world.
01:02:37They never thought they were just telling me,
01:02:39they never thought they'd ever be coming to the White House.
01:02:42And they're so honored.
01:02:43And so we're going to give them a great big reception.
01:02:45But that's after many years of fighting.
01:02:46It's a great thing.
01:02:47That's at three o'clock,
01:02:48I believe.
01:02:53Sir,
01:02:53are you concerned at all about secret nuclear sites in Iran?
01:02:57Can you talk about maybe just...
01:02:58Secret nuclear sites?
01:02:59Yes.
01:02:59There might be some of them.
01:03:00Not really.
01:03:01Can I tell you?
01:03:02They're exhausted.
01:03:04And Israel's exhausted too.
01:03:07And I dealt with both of them.
01:03:09And they both wanted it settled.
01:03:11Both of them.
01:03:13And we did a great job.
01:03:14But they're exhausted.
01:03:15The last thing they're thinking about right now is nuclear.
01:03:18You know what they're thinking of?
01:03:19They're thinking about tomorrow.
01:03:21Trying to live.
01:03:22It's such a mess.
01:03:23It's such a mess.
01:03:24The place was bombed to hell.
01:03:26And no,
01:03:27I'm not worried about it at all.
01:03:30And I'm putting out a little statement.
01:03:32I'm going to respond to the Ayatollah's statement yesterday
01:03:36that we won the war.
01:03:39We won the war.
01:03:41And I said,
01:03:41look,
01:03:42you're a man of great faith,
01:03:43a man who's highly respected in this country.
01:03:47You have to tell the truth.
01:03:48You got beat to hell.
01:03:49And Israel was beat up too.
01:03:52They were both beat up.
01:03:54And it was a great time to end it.
01:03:55It was quick.
01:03:57They got the hate out.
01:03:58There was a lot of hate.
01:03:59A lot of hate.
01:04:00It would be great if they didn't have that hate.
01:04:02But the last thing they're thinking about
01:04:04is nuclear weapons right now.
01:04:07Please.
01:04:11Thank you, Mr. President.
01:04:13Iris Tao with NTD Researcher Media
01:04:14with the Apoch Times.
01:04:15Thank you so much for doing this.
01:04:17It's very refreshing for all of us here.
01:04:18I believe in this room.
01:04:19It's a good group.
01:04:20It's refreshing.
01:04:21Very refreshing.
01:04:22Yes.
01:04:22We haven't had this in, you know,
01:04:24couldn't have it.
01:04:24I understand what you mean.
01:04:26So thank you so much for coming out here.
01:04:27Other than Caroline's done a great job.
01:04:29Yes.
01:04:29You're referring to the past administration,
01:04:32not to Caroline.
01:04:33Yes.
01:04:34Back to the ruling today, if you don't mind.
01:04:36So you have always talked about
01:04:38winning for the American people.
01:04:40Right.
01:04:40How do you think today's ruling
01:04:41will enable you to further deliver
01:04:43for American families and workers
01:04:45across the country,
01:04:46not only when it comes to immigration,
01:04:47but also when it comes to trade energy?
01:04:49What actions are you most eager
01:04:51to move forward with now?
01:04:51Well, I think taking power away
01:04:52from these absolutely crazy
01:04:56radical left judges is a tremendous.
01:04:59This is such a big day.
01:05:01This is such a big day.
01:05:02It's like it's sort of sad
01:05:05because we're doing the signing
01:05:06at three o'clock.
01:05:07And I, you know,
01:05:08this may very well dominate
01:05:09the signing of a big war
01:05:11that was going on
01:05:11and really affecting the continent of
01:05:13think of it,
01:05:15the entire continent of Africa
01:05:16was being affected.
01:05:17And we're settling that war today.
01:05:20And this will probably be a headline.
01:05:22But this is a very big moment.
01:05:24And it gives power back
01:05:27to people that should have it,
01:05:28including Congress,
01:05:29including the presidency.
01:05:31And it only takes bad power
01:05:34away from judges.
01:05:35It really doesn't take power.
01:05:35It takes bad power,
01:05:37sick power,
01:05:38and unfair power.
01:05:40And it's really going to be,
01:05:41this is a very monumental decision.
01:05:43Yeah, please.
01:05:44Yeah, Mr. President,
01:05:44thank you very much.
01:05:45On July 9th,
01:05:47is that July 9th date
01:05:49set for tariffs to snap back?
01:05:51Or could they,
01:05:52could there be a...
01:05:53We can do whatever we want.
01:05:54We could extend it.
01:05:55We could make it shorter.
01:05:56I'd like to make it shorter.
01:05:57I'd like to just send letters
01:05:58out to everybody.
01:05:59Congratulations,
01:06:00you're paying 25%.
01:06:02He doesn't want...
01:06:04He's a much nicer person than I am.
01:06:06Go ahead.
01:06:09Did you finish it up?
01:06:10Who are you considering
01:06:11for the Federal Reserve then?
01:06:13And are you speeding up that process?
01:06:15I see, Secretary...
01:06:15Oh, he's terrible.
01:06:16He's terrible.
01:06:17I mean, I have a list of things.
01:06:19We're like 38 on the list.
01:06:21We pay, you know,
01:06:22Cameroon and different places
01:06:24are paying the same as us.
01:06:27Because, you know,
01:06:28you have somebody
01:06:28sets a rate at 4%
01:06:30or 4.5%.
01:06:31It's hard to go out and say,
01:06:32we should be paying 1%
01:06:34when you have your
01:06:35so-called experts doing that.
01:06:37And the sad part is,
01:06:38you know,
01:06:38as per the question
01:06:39that you asked about tariffs,
01:06:41because we've had the tariffs
01:06:44and we have less inflation
01:06:45than we had before.
01:06:47What we have
01:06:47is a hell of a lot more money,
01:06:49a hell of a lot more income,
01:06:51and we shouldn't be paying
01:06:52a rate like that.
01:06:53In other words,
01:06:54when we pay a rate,
01:06:55I'll tell you,
01:06:55each point is the equivalent
01:06:56of $300 billion.
01:07:00So if we had it down 3 points,
01:07:02because I think
01:07:02we should be at 1,
01:07:04you have Switzerland
01:07:05is at 0.25.
01:07:07In other words,
01:07:0825% of 1%.
01:07:09And they're the number one right now.
01:07:13But we should be the number one.
01:07:15And soon you're going to have,
01:07:16I believe, I think,
01:07:17you're going to have
01:07:17where the people will pay,
01:07:19you know, will pay,
01:07:20like we had a few years ago,
01:07:23where you put up money,
01:07:25you loan money,
01:07:26and I mean, you actually,
01:07:27instead of paying,
01:07:28you get paid.
01:07:29I love that.
01:07:30I don't know if it's any good,
01:07:32but I love it,
01:07:33where you put up money
01:07:33and you get paid.
01:07:35But we should be in a category.
01:07:37So we should be at the top of the list,
01:07:38not toward the bottom,
01:07:39of the list.
01:07:40But we have a man
01:07:41who's not a smart man,
01:07:43and he probably has
01:07:44Trump derangement syndrome,
01:07:46and he's just not a smart person.
01:07:48What he's doing, though,
01:07:49he's hurting us for years to come,
01:07:50because if we borrow money
01:07:52at two points higher
01:07:53than we should be paying,
01:07:55that's $600 billion.
01:07:58Wouldn't you say
01:07:59those numbers are about rights, God?
01:08:01So it's two points,
01:08:02would be about 600,
01:08:03actually more than that,
01:08:04but about $600 billion,
01:08:06all because a guy
01:08:06doesn't want to lower the rates.
01:08:07He's doing the service,
01:08:09a very disservice,
01:08:10and then he goes up,
01:08:10talks about,
01:08:11I'd like to see costs come down.
01:08:13You know, he gets up
01:08:13and he does his little thing
01:08:14for five minutes,
01:08:15and he goes out
01:08:16and he goes back to the beach.
01:08:17He goes,
01:08:18I'd like to see costs come down.
01:08:19Well, he could lower
01:08:20the interest costs
01:08:21by $900 billion a year.
01:08:24All he has to do
01:08:25is lower rates.
01:08:26And everybody's saying,
01:08:27I was watching
01:08:27some of the business shows today,
01:08:29and they're saying,
01:08:30you know, Trump's right.
01:08:31He should really be cutting.
01:08:33The country's doing well.
01:08:34We have no inflation.
01:08:36Now, despite him,
01:08:37we're doing great.
01:08:39But if we got the rates down,
01:08:40we would be a rocket ship.
01:08:42So I think that'll be it.
01:08:43And I just want to thank everybody.
01:08:45This is a really big day.
01:08:47We've had a big week.
01:08:50You know,
01:08:50we've had a big week.
01:08:51We've had a lot of victories this week.
01:08:53NATO was a tremendous victory.
01:08:55The war was a tremendous.
01:08:57Look,
01:08:57we were talking about this
01:08:58for 30 years
01:08:59about Iran being nuclear.
01:09:03And all I said is,
01:09:04it will not be nuclear,
01:09:05and it's not going to be nuclear.
01:09:07And, you know,
01:09:09I want to give credit
01:09:09to a lot of people,
01:09:10and most importantly
01:09:11to our great military.
01:09:12Boy, they put out that fire.
01:09:14Once that happened,
01:09:15once those bombs got dropped,
01:09:17that war was over.
01:09:18That war was over.
01:09:20But I just want to compliment them.
01:09:21Incredible.
01:09:22The general
01:09:22and all of his generals.
01:09:25Pete Hegseth was great.
01:09:27They were over.
01:09:27And now I want to compliment Pam.
01:09:30A lot of genius went into this.
01:09:32You know,
01:09:32people,
01:09:33if you don't say it exactly right,
01:09:35if the Supreme Court
01:09:35doesn't get it
01:09:36because it's incorrectly spoken about,
01:09:40and that happens.
01:09:41A lot of cases are lost
01:09:42because they don't,
01:09:43they don't say the right words.
01:09:44But I want to,
01:09:45she's going to go down
01:09:46as a great attorney general.
01:09:48I may change my mind about that.
01:09:50I don't know.
01:09:50Maybe someday I'll set a call
01:09:51and say,
01:09:52I was only kidding.
01:09:53She's going to go down
01:09:54as a great attorney general.
01:09:55This was a tremendous win.
01:09:56And we've had tremendous wins,
01:09:58but this was a tremendous win today.
01:09:59So I just want to congratulate you
01:10:01and Todd
01:10:02and your whole staff.
01:10:04Very brilliant people.
01:10:05And we can't forget John Sauer.
01:10:06That's right.
01:10:07Who is with,
01:10:08there's a medical emergency
01:10:10within his family,
01:10:11so he's taking care of that.
01:10:12And we said absolutely.
01:10:14So I just want to thank everybody very much.
