00:00No, este video no muestra Rusia preparando una disparación de respuestas a la Ukraine.
00:08Sociales media usuarios están compartiendo un video que se muestra Moscú
00:12gearing up for a huge counterattack en Ukraine,
00:15following Kiev's strikes on Russian military airfields en early June.
00:19The posts say that the U.S. has warned European countries
00:22about a disparate response to the airbase attack,
00:25and the video shows vehicles flying the Russian flag,
00:28apparently transporting missiles.
00:30It also shows people inspecting vehicles.
00:33But the video has been miscaptioned.
00:34It doesn't show Russia preparing for another attack
00:37because the clips actually date back to 2024.
00:40We put some stills from the video through a reverse image search,
00:43which revealed that it came from a Telegram post
00:46published by the Russian Ministry of Defense on 27 February 2024.
00:50The caption here says that the video shows
00:52Yars' intercontinental ballistic missile mobile launchers
00:55being moved through Moscow in preparation for Russia's annual Victory Day Parade
00:59in the Red Square on the 9th of May.
01:01In fact, the reverse image search shows us
01:03that the video is also the subject of misleading claims
01:06when it was first published.
01:08Various other fact-checking websites
01:09debunked misleading claims at the time
01:11that the video showed Russia transporting nuclear weapons
01:14to use against Ukraine.
01:16But Russia regularly publishes similar videos
01:18of its military arsenal or training exercises
01:21without them necessarily being in preparation
01:23for an imminent attack.
01:25Nevertheless, Russia has increased its strikes against Ukraine
01:28following the attack on its air bases,
01:30known as Operation Spiderweb,
01:32including some of the largest bombardments of Kiev
01:35since the start of Moscow's full-scale invasion
01:37in February 2022.
01:39Russia has intensified its air attacks
01:41against Ukrainian cities in recent weeks,
01:43with drones and missiles often hitting residential areas
01:46and killing civilians,
01:48in addition to military targets.
