00:00The first Polish heavyweight champion, here is Jimmy Lennon Jr.
00:07And now, here is the challenger, the number six contender from Poland, the Polish pin, Artur Spieka!
00:19A thunderous ovation from the partisan Polish crowd here in Brooklyn, most of them, of course, from nearby Greenpoint.
00:35And they are here to see history.
00:37They would like to will Artur Spieka to becoming the first Polish-born heavyweight champion.
00:43He is 20-1 with 15 wins inside the distance, and he's really shored up his skill set, Paulie, since making the move to Houston to work with respected trainer Ronnie Shields.
00:56After a big victory over his compatriot, Thomas Adamick, he moved to Houston to work with Shields now 3-0 with three wins inside the distance.
01:04Yeah, and the move to Texas does not only benefit Artur in the tax department with a state with no state taxes,
01:09it's also benefited him boxing-wise. A great relationship with Ronnie Shields, who's trained many great champions.
01:15And he's shown some consistency, he's shown some improvement.
01:19Spieka is a top-level fighter, and not just in his skills, but also in the fact that he comes to fight.
01:23You will not break him very easily, and you've got to get him out of there to eventually beat him.
01:28Yeah, under the tutelage of Shields, he's improved his head movement and footwork.
01:33Shields says Spieka has to take the fight to Wilder.
01:36Now, in his last two fights, Spieka was hit just ten times by his opponents, including just five power shots,
01:42so he is a fresh challenger for Wilder.
01:45Ronnie Shields with the improvement.
01:52And now, please welcome to the ring, the WBC heavyweight champion of the world,
01:59the Bronze Bomber, Deontay Wilder!
02:11Deontay Wilder's not in Alabama anymore.
02:23There are mixed response at best, there are definitely cheers for a man, Al, who says he wants to be the face of the heavyweight division,
02:31even though he's hiding his face right now.
02:33He says he's the most athletic guy in the division, and he says that he wants to become the next embodiment of the greatest of all time.
02:41We remember tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of his championship win over Verminster Bird.
02:45It just happened to be the birthday of Muhammad Ali, and he would like to take a page out of Ali's playbook and take this to the people.
02:52One of the things that I think is special about Deontay Wilder outside the ring is that he professes,
02:59and is happy to do it unashamedly, his love for this sport.
03:04You know, he came to the sport late, and he has the same kind of enthusiasm that all of us had when we were amateur boxers,
03:10when you just had that exhilaration, and you were excited about it.
03:14And, of course, as fighters move on as professionals, sometimes the ups and downs of the sport and the business and all the rest of it
03:20can make them less excited.
03:23He's still at the point where what he's doing tomorrow, I think, that's good for the sport is he's telling everybody,
03:29I discovered this sport, and I love it.
03:31And you know what?
03:32There's a lot to be said for him.
03:33He's not yet jaded.
03:34Exactly.
03:35First U.S. board heavyweight champion since Brooklyn's Shannon Briggs in 2007.
03:40He broke America's 17-fight winless streak in major heavyweight title bouts.
03:45There are now 17 Americans among the top 50 heavyweights,
03:48but Wilder looking to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion
03:52since a man we just saw get interviewed by Jim Gray, Lennox Lewis.
03:58Not everybody here is on his side.
04:00You can tell, but some are.
04:01And, again, it's all about adversity and overcoming adversity both inside and outside the rig, Paulie.
04:08Exactly, Moe.
04:09Tonight he's going to have to come all of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, as well as our George Bilko.
04:15Let's go to the tale of the tape for tonight's main event.
04:17Well, the most salient numbers here, I think, and they always are the case with Wilder,
04:22at least the man he's been fighting, is, in fact, his height and reach advantage.
04:26And that's what they are banking on, that he can fight tall, not lunge into his punches as Spilka and Ronnie Shields want him to,
04:34and that he can use that height and reach.
04:36We'll see if he can.

06:35his record stands at 20 wins,
06:37one loss, 15 wins, coming by way of knockout.
06:42Tonight, he is making his first attempt at a world title.
06:45He is currently ranked the WBC number six world contender.
06:49Please welcome the challenger, known as the Polish Pin,
06:54introducing...
06:55Artur...
06:58Spieka!
07:00And his opponent across the ring is the defending world champion,
07:09fighting out of the blue corner, wearing black and gray trunks,
07:13hailing from and proudly representing his home of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
07:18He weighed in at already 228 and three quarter pounds.
07:23His tremendous record stands at 35 wins, no losses,
07:2834 big wins coming by way of knockout.
07:32Tonight, he is making the third defense of his title.
07:35Here is the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist,
07:39the hard-hitting and undefeated WBC heavyweight champion of the world,
07:45and producing the bronze bomber,
07:49Deontay Wilder!
08:00And once again, here's our referee in charge.
08:03Now to give instructions, Mike Griffin.
08:12Deontay!
08:15All right, you men, receive my instructions.
08:21Obey my commands.
08:23Above all, protect yourselves at all times.
08:25I want you to touch it up now.
08:27Your box is in the belt.
08:28God bless you both.
08:29Let's go, man.
08:30Let's go.
08:32The Barclays Center ready to explode in anticipation of this heavyweight title fight.
08:37Many fans here in support of Poland's Archer Spilka.
08:45There's the mandatory challenger for Deontay Wilder, Alexander Popiekin.
08:52Also in attendance, a man that he's exchanged Twitter barbs with, Tyson Fury,
08:57who shook up the heavyweight division when he upset Vladimir Klitschko.
09:01Spilka's looking to upset Wilder tonight.
09:05Bring the bell!
09:07Boxman!
09:08Referee Mike Griffin calls for the bell.
09:11We are underway.
09:14Wilder in the black with Gray.
09:16Wilder saying that it's all about the number 16, this being January 16, 2016,
09:25his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide winning their 16th national title this past Monday.
09:31He even joked that maybe he'd beat Spilka in 16 seconds.
09:36That won't be the case.
09:37Both guys in a very open stance.
09:41Wilder very open.
09:42Spilka very open.
09:43Looking to let go of the bombs, I think.
09:45And Wilder already trying to throw right in.
09:48Spilka, of course, Ronnie Shields.
09:49They said, Shields said, I want Wilder to throw that right in.
09:53I can't wait for him to do it because he will get off balance and we will counter him.
09:57We'll see if that's the case.
09:59Spilka looking to exhibit his Polish power like Ivan Putzky.
10:03And just over a week away from the Royal Rumble,
10:04he is ready to rumble with Deontay Wilder.
10:08You had to get a wrestling reference here.
10:10One minute gone and listen to this crowd.
10:14Spilka using a lot of footwork.
10:16And Ronnie Shields pointed out that he has good footwork.
10:19And he's not just attacking in a straight line.
10:22Yes, he's trying to use those angles.
10:24Deontay trying to get that jab going,
10:25but it's difficult when the guy's moving like that and changing distance.
10:28And it's also more difficult to jab at southpaws when you're already in there.
10:3151% of Wilder's fights have ended in the first round.
10:3518 first round KOs.
10:37Spilka has recorded five first round stoppage wins.
10:42Right now, nobody getting comfortable in that danger zone
10:45where they're just about 6 to 12 inches closer to each other.
10:47Even when they let go of the bombs,
10:49they're a little bit too far out of range.
10:50But we'll probably see them warm to each other in the next round or two.
10:53And neither man really wants to stand in exchange with each other.
10:57They just don't want to do that.
10:58You know, Wilder feels like he's with a right hand.
11:00Oh, those are not the kind of right hands they want him to throw.
11:03No, sir.
11:04And that's because Spilka keeps changing that range.
11:07And then Wilder's trying to force that right hand.
11:09Yeah, just be patient when it's set it up.
11:11It'll be there.
11:12Final minute of the first round.
11:15We saw Charles Martin become the sixth southpaw champion.
11:19Can Spilka make it number seven?
11:22Wilder avoids that looping left hand.
11:35There's that telephone pole jab from Wilder at his 83-inch reach.
11:41And this pro-polish crowd once again firmly behind the pin.
11:48And I tell you, Wilder sometimes exaggerates that back step on the defense.
11:52Spilka would be better off, better served to double his jab instead of just single-throwing it.
11:56And then you letting go the big left hand.
11:58And with apologies, Al, you definitely can't hear a pin drop here at the Barclays Center tonight.
12:08So we'll take a look at the keys to victory.
12:12We'll start with the champion, Deontay Wilder.
12:16First, he should fight tall.
12:18He did that some of the first round, most of it.
12:21Don't lunge.
12:21He did that a couple times in round one.
12:23He's got to be careful.
12:24And the right hand.
12:25And, of course, he tried the right on five or six different occasions.
12:28Didn't quite get it there.
12:29As for Arthur Spilka, he has got to move his head.
12:36He showed us that.
12:38And he wants to set traps.
12:39And by that, I mean make Wilder lunge and then land the counter left.
12:44And that's the counter left hand that he wants to get in.
12:46They are singing here at the Barclays Center.
12:59An amazing atmosphere, I was going to say.
13:02Is this a heavyweight title fighter of the World Cup?
13:09Round two underway.
13:13Great atmosphere.
13:14Great atmosphere.
13:16Stay on his foot.
13:21Stay on his foot.
13:35Spilka off balance.
13:36You see, both guys a bit awkward in finding the range to each other.
13:39And it shows Spilka going off balance.
13:41There we saw Wilder throw a couple of wild shots and missed badly in the first round.
13:44They've still got to get accustomed to the range.
13:46And the distance of each other.
13:47Right, Spilka known mainly as a counter punching fighter.
13:51But against a guy like Wilder, he has to try to navigate that militarized zone and get on the inside.
13:57Don't you think, Paulie?
13:58Yeah, yeah.
13:59And he's got to do it carefully, of course.
14:01Because, you know, you want to avoid the right hand on the way in.
14:03So, hence why there's that bit of hesitation.
14:06And, of course, Wilder, the same thing.
14:07I mean, he wants to avoid the big shots.
14:08Oh, there's a nice towel right hand by Wilder on the way in.
14:11Spilka tapped in.
14:12You know, Wilder made the point.
14:14He hasn't even sparred with the lefties since he fought Aubrey Harrison three years ago.
14:17So, even for this fight, he did.
14:21But, you know, before that, he had his parting with the lefties for a long time.
14:25So, he used to get used to the process.
14:27Coming up on the midpoint of round number two.
14:39There's a couple of different ways you can jab at a southpaw.
14:42One, you can use that up jab Deontay likes to use.
14:44When Spilka starts to parry it down, next time you start fainting with it,
14:48when he uses the parry, you'll jab over the top of it instead.
14:51Mark Breland, a trainer known for his incredible jab.
14:54One of the best amateurs in American history and a native of Brooklyn,
14:57says that he actually has four varieties of the jab,
15:00including the one you just mentioned, Pauly, the up jab.
15:03Yeah, but the up jab here is kind of to set up the other jab
15:05because you want Spilka to start getting used to parrying it.
15:08Once he starts parrying it, you fainting with it.
15:09What Spilka will do is go to parry at air.
15:12His face will be exposed.
15:13You can jab over the top of that parry.
15:15We're talking about jab.
15:16Spilka has started to use his jab much better here in this round.
15:21There's a fain behind the first jab.
15:23You know, again, you just want to vary.
15:24Like you're saying now, if he doubles it up, faints first, then jabs.
15:28He wants to gain that extra step before throwing that left hand.
15:31Nice combination by Spilka.
15:33Double jab, then the left straight down the middle.
15:36He put it best when talking about the crowd support here in Brooklyn for the Polish fighter.
15:41He said it's going to be like having an additional pair of gloves in the ring with him.
15:46Spilka's having a pretty good second round here.
15:48You know, whether he's won it, I don't know.
15:49He might have.
15:50But he's making Deontay Wilder uncomfortable enough to land some punches.
15:54I don't think anybody's super comfortable yet.
15:56It's weird, Al.
15:57You know, there's a lot of, I feel, a lot of jostling for position.
16:00They're both, like, on edge, I feel.
16:02Wilder has told us two things he likes.
16:06Self-paws and guys who like to pressure him.
16:13Right now, it's round number three.
16:16Deontay Wilder defending his portion of the heavyweight title against Archer Spilka.
16:21We talked about the fact, Paul, he talked about the fact that neither of the fighters feel comfortable.
16:32You can kind of see that in the number of punches they threw in the last round.
16:35Wilder threw 26, Spilka threw 23.
16:38So they're not, you know, they're not comfortable enough to push up their volume a little bit,
16:44although I thought Spilka probably won the second round.
16:46Spilka on the attack, clinching with Wilder.
16:50In addition to working with Ronnie Shields,
16:52Spilka also dedicated himself to Plex Guru Danny Arnold's rigorous strength and conditioning program.
16:58And he's also added some new punches to his repertoire,
17:01most notably uppercuts from different angles.
17:05Those are going to be hard to use from the distance they've been in right now.
17:08Maybe as the fight wears on and they tire out,
17:10they'll start to fight at a bit closer range when they start to see some of those.
17:13You know, Wilder said he was concerned about Spilka being dirty in this fight,
17:17but in fact, Spilka has never committed a foul, never been penalized for a foul,
17:22and so far there's no evidence of that.
17:24I'll tell you if there's any advantage, even if Spilka's missing Wilder,
17:26when he backs up Deontay.
17:28Deontay, not on the front foot, can't get any leverage on his shots,
17:31and his power becomes less dangerous.
17:34It's a very good point.
17:35And Ronnie Shields told us that they want Wilder to throw that right hand.
17:39They want to counter it.
17:40They feel he keeps it low and right for the counter.
17:44Just past the midpoint of round three.
17:50Wilder's stance is more open that sometimes he fights more squared up against his opponents.
17:57And he's doing that tonight.
17:58And I think he's trying to adjust to the left-hander.
18:01He has blocked there by Wilder.
18:02I agree.
18:03Spilka with the biggest win of his career coming against compatriot Thomas Adamek,
18:09one of five Polish fighters who have failed in their quest to become heavyweight champ,
18:13including four-time title challenger Andrew Gulato,
18:15who probably has the best nickname ever and the most asked foul pole.
18:19You know, I mentioned a lot, in fact, the out-game had a block of the overhand left of Spilka.
18:26The reason I said nice block is because when a guy starts to block shots instead of stepping back,
18:30he's starting to get used to the positioning.
18:32He's starting to maintain his position, and he's going to start to look for counters.
18:35And he's getting more comfortable at close range.
18:37Spilka being kept at bay momentarily by the jab.
18:41Now moving forward, under 30 seconds left in round three.
18:44Goodbye to work by Spilka, and that left-hand he threw, got it a little bit against Wilder.
18:50Oh, counter right hand by Wilder.
18:52And again, maintaining position by Wilder.
18:55He just stepped back there.
18:55He just slipped and counted.
18:57Nice left hand from Spilka.
19:12While things percolate here, things got heated when these two were featured in a photo shoot
19:17at the Freedom Tower earlier this week.
19:20Oh, squad!
19:22Going down!
19:23Oh!
19:27It's going to get crazy, baby.
19:29And steal!
19:30Yeah, yeah, sure.
19:31Tomorrow you're going down!
19:33Sunday!
19:34Sunday day, baby!
19:35You're going down!
19:36You're going down!
19:38We're going down!
19:39I'm still!
19:47I'm still!
19:49You're going fucking down!
19:51You're going fucking down!
19:53And look who's here
19:57Another man known for
19:59Mercurial behavior to say the least
20:01Tyson Fury, the man who upset
20:03Vladimir Klitschko, he and
20:05Deontay Wilder have gone back and forth
20:07On Twitter, and man, it's the night
20:09Of heavyweights here in Brooklyn
20:11You saw some of the soccer
20:14We can come out of Spilka
20:15And that little, yeah, the headbutt
20:17Little scuttlebutt there, little old school
20:19MMA there, Paul
20:20For WWE, a play, thank you
20:23So through
20:25Three rounds, according to show stats
20:27Spilka has landed 18
20:29Of his power punches to 6
20:31By Wilder, remember, power punches are anything
20:33That's not a jab
20:35So it's interesting, he's getting his
20:37And some of those are body shots
20:38We shouldn't underestimate Spilka's had some success to the body
20:41It's a very
20:43Close and competitive fight
20:45And a terrific atmosphere
20:47To kick off the 30th year
20:49Of Showtime Championship Boxing
20:52See, they're starting to get a little
20:53Closer to each other
20:54Getting accustomed to that distance
20:56And it's gonna happen as the rounds progress
20:58And with those open stances
21:00Some big shots can land
21:01Because neither guy is in tight
21:02In a stance
21:03It's a very
21:03That's a really good point
21:05Seven inch reach advantage for Wilder
21:08And yet, thus far, really unable to exploit it
21:11Like we have seen him in the past
21:13He told us that he was gonna get back to business tonight
21:15Four rounds or less
21:17Well, he has a minute 53 to become prophetic
21:20He has thrown the right hand
21:22But missed it in most cases
21:25And has certainly not landed one that made a difference
21:27And there's the doubling of the jab
21:29By Spilka, even though it didn't get there
21:30That Paulie talked about
21:31Yeah, but again now, like I said
21:33If you get Deontay's momentum to go backwards
21:36He becomes less dangerous as a puncher
21:38One thing we can say
21:40Spilka is not awed by this moment
21:42Or intimidated
21:43So whatever that's worth
21:44One punch can change this fight, of course
21:47I think we've seen that throughout
21:49The build-up to the fight, Al
21:51You're right
21:51During the conference call
21:52During the interview on Showbox
21:54With our own Steve Farhood
21:55He has definitely exhibited uber confidence
21:59And it is serving him well thus far
22:01And you know what he's doing?
22:02He's moving his hand
22:03Well, some heavyweights just don't do that
22:07A little mouse underneath the right cheek
22:11Underneath the right eye of Spilka
22:13Probably from some of those jabs
22:15Final minute of the fourth round
22:16And again, the jab stuck by
22:18Wilder who's beginning to establish it now
22:21Yeah, Wilder's probably winning this round
22:23I think he's very likely
22:25And this is the advantage Wilder has at this distance
22:27As they start
22:28They've only gotten about six inches closer
22:29But that's just enough for Wilder
22:31To start landing his jabs
22:32So Spilka's got to skip this distance
22:33He's either going to be all the way in
22:35Or all the way out
22:35Yeah, very good point
22:36There's the bodywork by Spilka
22:38Which he's tried to do
22:39And that's something that Wilder
22:40Because of his height
22:42Oh, a stinging right hand
22:44But Spilka takes it
22:45And stays in the pocket
22:47Now Wilder
22:48Wilder cocking the right hand
22:50Yeah
22:50Like a rifle
22:50That was a hard shot
22:55Another right hand
22:56By Deontay Wilder
22:59You'll see as Wilder starts to let go
23:00With more of these right hands
23:01We're starting to finally see the right hands
23:02If Spilka does have some counters
23:04Up his sleeve
23:05Like he said
23:06For those right hands
23:06Oh, Spilka's headed to the fifth round
23:09Deontay Wilder though
23:11With a terrific fourth
23:12I need you to focus
23:19Focus, focus, focus, focus
23:21Okay
23:22Focus on what you're doing
23:23Now listen
23:24You've got to start backing him up a little bit
23:26Now you've got to get close to him
23:27Okay
23:28Now close
23:29Okay
23:29For the first three rounds
23:31Deontay Wilder wasn't able to get his right hand in
23:34But there
23:35He landed a beautiful jab
23:37And came with a straighter right hand
23:39Than he has been throwing
23:40The jab sets it up
23:41In fact, the jab even lands
23:43And that is not a wide right hand
23:45And he did not lunge when he threw it
23:47And his family
23:49Loved seeing that
23:51They made the trip up from Alabama
23:54As did Deontay Wilder
23:56And they're enjoying the Big Apple
23:58Be diligent
24:00Don't get called anything stupid
24:02Be diligent
24:03The bell and round at number five
24:14For Deontay Wilder's
24:16Portion of the heavyweight championship
24:18The man
24:20Who holds two of those titles
24:22Tyson Fury at ringside
24:24Another man who won his title
24:27Due to injury stoppage earlier tonight
24:28Charles Martin
24:29In the dressing room
24:31I'm sure still celebrating
24:32It's the night of heavyweights
24:33To kick off the year
24:35Here on Showtime
24:36We heard Ronnie Shields say
24:38To Spilka
24:40That he had to back up
24:42Wilder
24:43We'll see if he can
24:44And the last round by the way
24:45One of the reasons Wilder
24:46Was as successful
24:47Is he landed
24:48Eight of 24 jabs
24:49According to show stats
24:51And that was an improvement
24:52And Paul
24:52All of a sudden
24:53It's a brave new world
24:54In the heavyweight division
24:55Listen to the crowd
24:56Yes it is
24:57An exciting one
24:58At that
24:58An exciting times here
24:59See Wilder's starting
25:00To back up a little less
25:01Even when he backs up defensively
25:03The steps are much smaller
25:04He's getting comfortable
25:05At range
25:06And it also helps his jab
25:09There's a lot of right hooks
25:15But not so many left hands
25:17He hasn't been able
25:17To get the distance
25:18To throw
25:19Oh nice left hands
25:20Yep
25:20That time he got one
25:21Double jab from Spilka
25:27There's a right hand
25:31From Wilder
25:32That glances off
25:33Archer Spilka
25:34You can say you're ready
25:36To counter that big right hand
25:37But it's actually flying
25:38Actually like a missile
25:39Sometimes you're just glad
25:40You got out of the way of it
25:41Well and Wilder isn't
25:42Lunging as much
25:43When he throws it
25:44Which is part of what
25:45They were hoping would happen
25:46Yep
25:46Mark Breland
25:48His trainer J.D.
25:50His assistant trainer
25:51Been there since day one
25:53The story of Deontay Wilder
25:55Well documented
25:56Has fired to play
25:57For Alabama Crimson Tide
25:59Basketball
25:59Or football
26:00As Spilka
26:02Bounced that off
26:02Of Wilder's arm
26:03His first daughter
26:05Born with spina bifida
26:06Wilder had to make
26:07Additional income
26:08And began boxing
26:10And here after a
26:11Truncated amateur career
26:12The last male
26:13To medal for the
26:14United States
26:15A bronze in 2008
26:16And now the
26:17Heavyweight champion
26:18Oh and he got
26:19Caught there
26:20And Spilka
26:22Stepped on his foot
26:23I believe
26:23Simultaneous right hands
26:25As Wilder
26:25Wilder has been down
26:29Once in his career
26:30Came back to stop
26:31Eric Scaniard
26:32And Spilka
26:33Going on the attack
26:34And he's been buzzed
26:35By Eric Molina
26:36And by Stavurn
26:38So you can
26:39Make him feel
26:40Those punches
26:41And we'll see
26:41Spilka did it
26:42And even Johan Duelvis
26:43In his last fight
26:44Almost closed his eyes
26:46So Spilka said that
26:47He felt that
26:48He would be the third
26:49Guy in a row
26:50Not to be afraid
26:51Of fighting Deontay Wilder
26:52He felt that
26:53His record is built
26:54On people who were
26:54Already mentally defeated
26:56Before the opening bell
26:57Well this round
26:58Has certainly been interesting
26:59Oh wow
27:01Nice
27:01Right
27:03Uppercutting
27:04By Deontay Wilder
27:06We are through five
27:09In Brooklyn
27:10It's heating up
27:15There may have been
27:30A moment
27:30In that last round
27:32Where Arthur Spilka
27:32Landed something
27:34That created some issues
27:36For Deontay Wilder
27:37Now Deontay
27:38Kind of thinking
27:39About whether
27:39I should hold
27:40Or punch back
27:42Then Wilde
27:43Later on
27:44In the round
27:44Landing that
27:45Right hand
27:46A little off balance
27:49And Spilka
27:49Trying to respond
27:51To it
27:51But
27:51And we talked
27:54A little bit
27:55About Spilka
27:56Having an uppercut
27:57But Wilder
27:58Landing that one
27:59Now that didn't
28:00Land as flush
28:01As it might have
28:02But
28:02That was a round
28:03In which both men
28:04Got a little bit done
28:05And made it
28:06Very interesting
28:06Wait for the bell
28:10Man
28:10Wait for the bell
28:10This is round
28:13At number six
28:14From the Barclays
28:15Center
28:15In Brooklyn
28:16Scheduled for 12
28:17For Deontay Wilder's
28:19WBC Heavyweight Championship
28:20Mora Ranallo
28:21Hall of Famer
28:22Al Bernstein
28:22And Paulie Malinagi
28:24Ringside
28:24One two combination
28:37By Wilder
28:38The interesting thing is
28:40We have seen
28:41About three or four
28:42Really good right hands
28:43Wanned by
28:44Deontay Wilder
28:45And while they have
28:46Been effective scoring
28:47Punches
28:47They haven't yet
28:48Hurt Spilka
28:49Or apparently
28:50Hurt him
28:51Yeah he's throwing
28:51Them right now
28:52For aim
28:52As opposed to
28:53Putting weight
28:53Behind them
28:54He'd rather shoot
28:54Them sharp
28:55Right now
28:55Yeah Spilka
28:56Has been knocked
28:56Out five times
28:57Including twice
28:58Against Brian
28:59Jennings in his
29:00Lone loss
29:01Back in January
29:02Of 2014
29:03You see both these men
29:10As they move past
29:11The fifth round
29:12Of course Wilder
29:13Showed in his last
29:15Several fights
29:15That he can go the
29:16Distance
29:17He had not gone
29:17Very long
29:18And demonstrated
29:19That to everyone's
29:20Satisfaction
29:21Clubbing right hand
29:22He's been the distance
29:23One time
29:24That was
29:24When he won the title
29:26Against Berminster Verne
29:27A year ago
29:28This weekend
29:28Went to the 11th round
29:30In his last fight
29:31Before stopping
29:31You want to help us
29:33And now in round
29:34Six
29:35Against the upstart
29:36Archer Spilka
29:37Who is 20 and 1
29:41With 15 wins
29:42Coming inside
29:43The distance
29:43The reformed
29:44Soccer hooligan
29:45Who started
29:46As a goalkeeper
29:46At soccer
29:47But received
29:48Three red cards
29:49From knocking
29:50On opposing players
29:51And Wilder
29:52Looking to knock him out
29:53But Spilka
29:53Moves away
29:54From the run
29:54Spilka tried to
29:55Throw an uppercut
29:56From range
29:57And Wilder
29:58Hit him with the right hand
29:59Gotta be careful
30:00At that range
30:00Yep
30:00It's getting
30:05Interesting though
30:05Isn't it
30:06You feel like
30:08Something's gonna
30:09Land somewhere here
30:10That's gonna
30:10Make a difference
30:11Final minute
30:12Of the sixth
30:13The crowd
30:15Has not subsided
30:16They started
30:18Making noise
30:19During the undercard
30:21And the
30:22Largely contingent
30:23Of Polish fans
30:24Firmly behind
30:25Archer Spilka
30:26Who goes on
30:27The attack
30:27Momentarily
30:28I was just gonna
30:29Say something
30:30It's
30:30Spilka
30:30Poof me wrong
30:31I was gonna say
30:31He never comes back
30:32On the right hook
30:32After he goes out of the team
30:33There's a right hook
30:34To the back
30:34Again and again
30:35Here
30:35If that extra punch
30:37You throw in the combination
30:38And he's starting
30:39To do it now
30:40And it's keeping
30:40Deontay on that defensive
30:41Final 30 seconds
30:43Of the sixth round
30:44Deontay
30:44Stabs him in the body
30:45With a jab
30:46The check
30:52Is Spilka
30:53He's fainting
30:58And making
30:59Gets
30:59So that's kind of
31:01Interesting
31:01Close round here
31:02Tactics
31:04You have a 12 round
31:05Boxing match
31:05A little adjustment
31:06You start to see
31:06Right now
31:07True
31:08Spilka's girlfriend
31:18Camila
31:19Very animated
31:20And emotional
31:21Watching her man
31:22Hereby
31:23For the championship
31:24It can't be easy
31:25For a loved one
31:26To see
31:27Their
31:28Significant other
31:29Do this for a living
31:31Here's where
31:32Spilka
31:33Gets
31:34Goes back
31:35And here's where
31:35I believe
31:36He tries an uppercut
31:37And pays the price
31:39For it
31:39Here
31:39Tries the uppercut
31:40Gets nailed
31:41With a right hand
31:42You can't throw
31:43An uppercut
31:44From that far out
31:45Especially with
31:46Your hands down
31:47And that was
31:47A perfect example
31:48Of him getting hit
31:49And a great job
31:50By the way
31:50By the folks
31:51In the truck
31:51For demonstrating
31:53That
31:54I need combinations
31:58Okay
31:58I've got to have
31:59Combinations
32:00Keep backing them up
32:02Okay
32:02Let's go
32:03Get that towel
32:05We are at the
32:13Midpoint of this
32:14Championship fight
32:15Al you heard
32:16Mr. Shields
32:18Demanding combinations
32:19What is it going
32:21To take for
32:21Spilka
32:21To get to the
32:23Range he needs
32:24To deliver those
32:25Well he's done it
32:26A little bit
32:26When he's
32:27He's gotten inside
32:28And even
32:29Sometimes from range
32:31But you know
32:31He just
32:32It's hard to put
32:33Your hands together
32:34When you're too far
32:35Now Wilder has
32:42Spilka in the corner
32:43Feinting with the
32:44Left
32:44Teeing them up
32:45To the right
32:45That glances off
32:46And they clinch
32:47Smart move
32:49By Spilka
32:50To hold down
32:50After that
32:51Right hand
32:52Had landed
32:52Through six rounds
32:53Paulie
32:54What do you think
32:55About the footwork
32:56Of both of these
32:56Fighters
32:57Beginning with the
32:58Champion
32:58Well I think
32:59Deontay
33:00At first
33:01Early part of the
33:02Fight
33:02He was making
33:03Too big of
33:03Defensive moves
33:04Stepping too far out
33:05And as the fight's
33:05Gone on
33:06He's gotten a bit
33:06More comfortable
33:07Defensive moves
33:08He's got shorter
33:08So he can make
33:09Counters like that
33:10As he stepped back
33:11Before he was
33:12Out of range
33:12To counter
33:12He's starting
33:13To maintain his distance
33:14Let's bring in
33:15Our unofficial scorer
33:16Steve Forward
33:17How do you have it
33:18At the midway point
33:19Steve
33:20Well it's funny
33:21This is the first round
33:22Of the fight
33:23Mo where there's
33:24A clear winner
33:25Up to this point
33:26And that's Wilder
33:26I've given him
33:27The last few rounds
33:28Almost every round
33:29Is arguable
33:30There's been
33:31Very little difference
33:31Neither fighter
33:32Effective
33:33In long stretches
33:34The difference
33:35Maybe to the judges
33:35Wilder's shots
33:36Are cleaner
33:37Easier to see
33:38A lot of
33:38Spielke's punches
33:39Are blocked
33:40Thanks Steve
33:42Like that one
33:43Right there
33:44Midpoint of round
33:45Seven
33:45There's the left
33:48Hand of the body
33:49By Spielke
33:50Wilder's getting
33:53In the kind
33:54Of right hands
33:55Now
33:55That hurt fighters
33:57But right now
33:58Spielke is taking
33:59Them very well
34:00Yeah
34:00They're usually
34:01Anesthetic right
34:03Hands
34:0334 of his
34:0435 wins
34:04Coming inside
34:05The distance
34:06The highest
34:06Knockout ratio
34:07Of any current
34:08Heavyweight
34:09Of any current
34:10You're talking
34:10About the footwork
34:12I like
34:13What I think
34:13About Spielke
34:14Is he keeps
34:14Changing the target
34:15You see
34:15He took that step
34:16Left
34:16Back to his right
34:18Then back left
34:18He's bobbing up
34:19And down
34:20With his head
34:20That head movement
34:21We're talking about
34:21Implicated by
34:22Ronnie Shields
34:23He's making himself
34:24A difficult target
34:24But the octaves
34:26Don't adjust
34:26As the rocks
34:27Progress
34:27That's the best
34:28Jab
34:28Spielke's thrown
34:29In his fight
34:30Yeah
34:30One thing
34:31Spielke hasn't
34:32Been able to do
34:32Is get Wilder
34:33On the road
34:34While he's backing
34:35Them up momentarily
34:36Wilder winding up
34:37With a wild
34:38Right hand
34:38Stocking Spielke
34:40Now
34:4130 seconds
34:42Left
34:42In the 7th
34:43One thing
34:43I want to see
34:44Is the combination
34:45Of the head movement
34:46With punches
34:46Spielke moves
34:47His nice body
34:48Right
34:48A hook
34:49To the body
34:49By Spielke
34:50His confidence
34:51Seems to be growing
34:52Spielke moves his head
34:53And then he stops
34:54To throw punches
34:54You want to make
34:55That transition
34:56Right off the smooth move
34:57Right as you're
34:58Moving your head
34:58Ready to throw
34:59Punches
34:59So it's not predictable
35:01You know
35:02One heavyweight champion
35:03With a great jab
35:04Let it exploits
35:05Another one
35:06With the Eastern Assassin
35:06There's a left hand
35:07By Spielke
35:08Larry Holmes always said
35:09The jab was like
35:10Snapping the towel
35:11Out
35:11And so far Wilder's
35:13Jab
35:14He brings it back low
35:15Fun round
35:17A fun crowd
35:20Yes
35:21Well in the midst
35:25Of a round
35:25In which both men
35:26Got some things done
35:27There was this right hand
35:28Again the jab
35:29Started it
35:30That was very early
35:31In the round
35:32And then later
35:34In the round
35:34He would again
35:35Land a right hand
35:36This time
35:37As Spielke's
35:39Throwing the jab
35:41And landing it
35:42By the way
35:43A counter right hand
35:44By Wilder
35:45But at the end
35:46Of the round
35:46Arthur Spielke
35:47Was really coming forward
35:49Establishing himself
35:50Not everything
35:51Landing perfectly
35:52But he was pushing
35:54Wilder back
35:55And the number of punches
35:56Landed in that round
35:57By both men
35:58Pretty close
35:59Oh there
36:01Yeah
36:01Finally a smile
36:03But man
36:03An emotional night
36:04For Camilla
36:05But definitely
36:05Something to cheer about Al
36:06Yeah a very different
36:07Kind of emotion
36:08Round at number eight
36:13Reminiscent of
36:16James DeGale's
36:17Sister
36:17Who's reacting
36:19In his wild fight
36:20With Alicia
36:21What a way
36:23To close out the year
36:24What a way
36:24To kick off the year
36:26Of course
36:26We ended the year
36:27With right here
36:28In Brooklyn
36:28Daniel Jacobs
36:29Beating Peter Quillen
36:31In just 85 seconds
36:32The jab of Spielke
36:40Is becoming a factor
36:41Right now
36:42And that
36:46Yeah and that is
36:49Interesting in its own
36:50Perspective there Al
36:52With the guy who's
36:53You know
36:53Got a huge reach advantage
36:55We didn't expect
36:55To be even saying that
36:56Did we
36:57No
36:57This fight is not
37:04Being fought
37:05At a wild pace
37:06There's only
37:06204 punches
37:08By Wilder
37:08194 points
37:10So it's not
37:11A wild pace
37:13But you have
37:14This sense of drama
37:15About somebody
37:16Landing something
37:16And it's a much
37:17Better pace
37:18Than Fury Klitschko
37:18Yeah
37:19But that snail race
37:20Was a much better pace
37:21Than Fury Klitschko
37:22It's a good thing
37:23That has a jury
37:24Can't hear you
37:25There was a method
37:26To Fury's madness
37:27But when Klitschko
37:30He scored a tantamount
37:31A deck of cards
37:32Worth of punches
37:33The whole fight
37:3352
37:34Nearing the midpoint
37:38Of round number 8
37:40In some ways
37:42What Spilka's trying to do
37:43By changing positioning
37:44Being a little bit awkward
37:46Is a bit of what Fury
37:47Did to Klitschko
37:48It's just that
37:49Spilka's not 6 foot 10
37:50Exactly
37:51That's precisely right
37:53Paulie
37:53Aren't you glad you're right
37:57Sometimes
37:58I'm glad you'd be right
37:59If I was not all the time
38:01I'd be much more
38:01Left hand
38:04I think that was
38:05One of Paulie's
38:05New Year's resolutions
38:06Don't always be right
38:07Final minute
38:10Of the 8th round
38:11If you understand
38:12It's just me telling you
38:13You're right
38:13So you can still be wrong
38:14True
38:15You know Spilka
38:16Got the left hand
38:17In there a moment ago
38:18Myra
38:18As you pointed out
38:19And that
38:20He just has to
38:21Unlimber that punch
38:21Leads with it there
38:23Doubled up
38:24On the left hand
38:24But he's got a bit
38:25Of a nosebleed
38:26And I think
38:27That jab
38:27Of Wilder
38:28Is starting to
38:28Causes a little bit
38:29Of physical
38:30Structural damage
38:31There's Spilka
38:38Going back
38:39To the body
38:39Backs
38:40Wilder up
38:41But then
38:41Stays
38:41In the center
38:42Of the ring
38:43Using that
38:44Upper body movement
38:45Looping left hand
38:48Blocked
38:49There's a lead
38:52Right hand
38:52By Wilder
38:53And slips
38:54Spilka's on his
38:59Tire a little bit
39:00He looks a bit
39:00More
39:01Fatigue
39:01Being a bit
39:02Heavier
39:02He's got to
39:03Be careful
39:03I know
39:04We're in
39:05Brooklyn
39:05But that was
39:06Wilder getting
39:06A Bronx cheer
39:07Spilka's got
39:10His chin
39:10Though
39:11Clash your heads
39:13There at the
39:14Buzzer
39:14At the belt
39:14Some off
39:18Balance work
39:19With Wilder
39:21Now there he was
39:21Lunging
39:22But
39:22He
39:24He wasn't
39:25Spilka not
39:26Countering
39:26Instead it was
39:27Just Wilder
39:28Lunging
39:28And now
39:35Shoot the one
39:35Shoot the one
39:37Shoot the one
39:37Shoot all day
39:37Cause he's ducking
39:38He's ducking
39:39Into you
39:39He's not going
39:41He's not going
39:42This way
39:42He's going
39:43This way
39:43Into you
39:44Shoot the right
39:45Straight down
39:46At him
39:46Keep that
39:48Dabbing
39:49You've got to
39:49Back him up
39:51You've got to
39:52Back him up
39:52Three twos there
39:52You get on the
39:55Left
39:55That three
39:56Two's there
39:56Three and four
39:57Points
39:58You've got to
40:01And bring the
40:02Hook back
40:02Behind him
40:03Let's go
40:03Okay
40:04Let's go to
40:05Right
40:05The ball
40:11Round nine
40:12We welcome
40:13Those of you
40:13That have been
40:14Watching the
40:14NFL playoffs
40:15A thrilling
40:16Overtime win
40:17For the
40:17Arizona
40:17Cardinals
40:18Over the
40:18Green Bay
40:19Packers
40:19And we're
40:20And we're in
40:20The midst
40:20Of a heavyweight
40:21Thriller
40:21Here between
40:22Deontay Wilder
40:23The WBC
40:24Heavyweight
40:25Champion
40:25In the
40:26Black and
40:26Gray
40:27Defending
40:27The title
40:27Against
40:28The man
40:29Looking to
40:29Become
40:30The first
40:30Polish
40:30Born
40:31Heavyweight
40:31Champion
40:32Arter
40:32Spilka
40:33You know
40:34And you heard
40:34Mark Williams
40:35Instructing in the
40:35Corner
40:35He wants
40:36Deontay to
40:37Back up
40:38Spilka
40:38And throw
40:38Punches
40:39In combination
40:40And the
40:40Tactics
40:40Behind that
40:41The method
40:41Behind that
40:42Madness
40:42Is this
40:43When
40:43Spilka
40:44Gets backed
40:44Up
40:45Puts
40:45Puts himself
40:45Out of
40:45Position
40:46And hands
40:46Low
40:46Pulls
40:47Back
40:47So if
40:48You play
40:48Combination
40:49Together
40:49The first
40:50Couple
40:50Punches
40:50May put
40:51Spilka
40:51Out of
40:51Position
40:52Maybe
40:52The third
40:52And fourth
40:53Shots
40:53May land
40:54And really
40:54Hurting
40:55Of course
40:58The same
40:58Thing
40:58With Deontay
40:59Our unofficial
40:59Scorer
41:00Steve
41:00Farwood
41:01Has
41:01Wilder
41:02Up
41:02By
41:03Three
41:03Rounds
41:0478
41:06To 75
41:07With
41:07One
41:08Minute
41:08Gone
41:09Here
41:09In the
41:09Ninth
41:09And
41:09There
41:10Is
41:10A
41:10Combination
41:11By
41:11Wilder
41:12Worn
41:13By
41:13The
41:13Referee
41:14For
41:14A
41:15Rabbit
41:15Punch
41:15There
41:18Is
41:18A
41:18Left
41:19Hand
41:19On
41:19The
41:19Side
41:20Of
41:20The
41:20Head
41:20By
41:20Spilka
41:21And
41:21That's
41:22What I was
41:23Trying to
41:23Say
41:23Before
41:24Deontay
41:24Makes
41:24The
41:24Same
41:24Exact
41:25Mistake
41:25So
41:25You
41:25Could
41:26Essentially
41:26Be
41:26The
41:27Thing
41:27Just
41:27Spilka
41:28Back
41:28Up
41:28Deontay
41:29And
41:29He'll
41:29Pull
41:30Up
41:30Out
41:30Position
41:30Spilka
41:31Getting
41:32Busy
41:32With
41:32The
41:32Left
41:33And
41:33I'll
41:33See
41:33What
41:34Spilka
41:34Is
41:34Doing
41:34Now
41:34He's
41:35Doubling
41:35Up
41:36With
41:36That
41:36Left
41:36Hand
41:36So
41:36When
41:37The
41:37First
41:37One
41:37Gets
41:37There
41:38He's
41:38Throwing
41:39Another
41:39One
41:39And
41:39That's
41:40A
41:40Big
41:40Difference
41:40Than
41:41What
41:41He
41:41Was
41:41Doing
41:41Before
41:42He's
41:42Known
41:42As
41:42A
41:42Counter
41:43Puncher
41:43And
41:43We've
41:43Seen
41:44Much
41:44In
41:44The
41:44Terms
41:45Of
41:45Effective
41:45Counter
41:46Punching
41:46As
42:07While
42:07They're
42:07Flicking
42:08The
42:08Jab
42:08There's
42:10A
42:10Right
42:11Hand
42:11But
42:11Off
42:11Balance
42:12Delivered
42:12With
42:12One
42:12Minute
42:13Left
42:13In
42:13The
42:13Ninth
42:14Round
42:14Where
42:16We're
42:16At
42:16The
42:16Scoring
42:17Remains
42:17To
42:17Be
42:17Seen
42:18But
42:18Spilka
42:19Is
42:19Kind
42:19Of
42:19Making
42:19I
42:19Think
42:20A
42:20Comeback
42:20Rounder
42:21After
42:21A
42:21Couple
42:21Rounds
42:21That
42:22Haven't
42:22Gone
42:22Well
42:22For
42:23Him
42:23Yeah
42:23Forcing
42:23A
42:24Bit
42:24Of
42:24An
42:24Uncomfortable
42:24Tempo
42:25And
42:25Pace
42:25Oh
42:26Oh
42:27It's
42:27Back
42:28Down
42:29Well
42:36You
42:36Question
42:37The
42:37Octavon
42:38Is
42:38Power
42:38The
42:39Proof
42:40Is
42:40In
42:40The
42:40Banana
42:41Pudding
42:41As
42:42He
42:42Just
42:42Turned
42:43The
42:43Lights
42:43Out
42:43From
42:44Dr.
42:44Spilka
42:45With
42:46This
42:4635th
42:47Knockout
42:47Winning
42:48His
42:50Debut
42:50Here
42:51In
42:51The
42:51Big
42:51Apple
42:52Andrew
42:57Can
42:57Fire
42:57Find
42:58Out
42:58Control
42:59Spilka
43:00Is
43:00Going
43:00Yeah
43:01We need
43:02Immediate
43:04Medical
43:04Attention
43:05To
43:05Archer
43:07Spilka
43:08How are you?
43:09You alright?
43:10You okay?
43:11You okay?
43:11And I got
43:12So don't move
43:13Okay?
43:14Just don't move
43:15That shot came
43:15From this side
43:16He might have
43:18Hit him behind
43:18The ear
43:18He's okay
43:19Man
43:19Man
43:20He's okay
43:21He's okay
43:22He's okay
43:22He's okay
43:23He's okay
43:23You're right
43:24You got to
43:25You got to
43:25You got to
43:25You got to
43:26You got to
43:26You got to
43:27You got to
43:28You got to
43:29You got to
43:29Open your eyes
43:31Man
43:31He's okay
43:32You're gonna get up
43:32He has to
43:33Listen to us
43:34Okay
43:34He can't
43:35Open your eyes
43:36There's
43:43Agnes Spilska
43:43I'm
43:44Monster
43:45KO
43:46In Wilder's
43:50Big Apple
43:50Debut
43:51I guess
43:52I'm
43:53I'm
43:53Let's
43:54He can't
43:55I'm
43:55Put
43:56In
43:58Over
43:58He
43:59He
43:59Will get
43:59Nailed
44:00Here
44:00With
44:01A
44:01Right
44:01Hand
44:02And
44:03He
44:03Was
44:03Throwing
44:04his own left hand and that's what you face when you face wilder because at any moment that power
44:11can get you in the right hand is a very powerful punch and made more powerful by spilker walking
44:16into it adding to the power of the punch yeah and here it's oh well actually it was on the chin from
44:21the other side it looked like behind here but a shot right on the chin well timed by wilder
44:27when when uh when spilker would come in looking for that overhand left he came in a little bit
44:32wild the the left hand very wide for spilker and he and he was hit with the right now he had taken
44:39right hands before in this fight and not been hurt but that one was different because he was coming
44:44in and he was hit flush exactly walked right into it and then deontay kind of stuck out his left hand
44:48first to measure with it make sure he had the proper distance for that punch and he is saying i told you
44:54i was going to get it done deontay wilder uh a big man and a big personality
44:59let's go to jim grave all right i've just spoken to dr jeff kaplan and he is being administered
45:08also by dr barry jordan they are taking him out on a stretcher they have immobilized his neck
45:13he is talking he is moving all extremities he will be taken now as a precautionary and have tests run
45:20what i'm told by dr caplan to lutheran hospital but he when i asked dr caplan the condition and if
45:28he's all right he said yes i think he'll be okay that's all we have right now morrow more information
45:34coming thank you very much and good to hear from an initial report as we look at the show stats for
45:40this heavyweight title fight that came to a crushing close in the night well they demonstrate the fact that
45:46this was not some fight that was completely out of hand for arthur spielska but still at the end
45:52power made the difference let's go to jimmy lennon jr to make it official
46:01ladies and gentlemen we have the time two minutes 24 seconds in round number nine
46:08he is the winner by way of knockout he is still undefeated and still
46:15the wbc heavyweight champion of the world the bronze bomber
46:22dionty wilder
46:39all right morrow thank you very much let's start first right here with ronnie shields ronnie
46:45please tell us the condition of arthur well he's doing good you know he's awake he knows
46:51exactly where he is right now he didn't want to go to the hospital but you know it's a precaution
46:56you know the best thing for him to go get checked out are all of his extremities moving
47:00and is he conscious and talking to you yes he was conscious he was talking and he's good
47:05this is all just uh just to be checked out and make sure that there's no uh precautionary this is
47:10and it's uh just to be checked out further it's better safe than sorry ronnie we thank you for
47:14your time thank you ronnie shields trainer dionte congratulations i know you went over and
47:21expressed your concern what did you say i know you expressed your concern to arthur what did you
47:27say to him i told him that um that he was a great contender that the polish people have nothing to be
47:33sad about he was a true contender he came and gave his all and uh he gave a great fight for the for
47:38for brooklyn and uh ending the spree 115 years man so thank you arthur speaker for your competitiveness baby
47:44and we see tonight what can happen when you run into a clean shot like you hit him with
47:54on your end and you're showing concern on your end it's part of the game but obviously you don't
48:00want to see a guy get damaged and hurt you know i always say two prayers i say a team prayer and i
48:05say an individual prayer and my individual prayer always like i don't want to hurt the next man so he
48:09can't go back to his family you know people don't understand don't go don't give these fighters
48:14enough credit they always say this fight is this a bomb this but they got to understand this is we
48:18risk our lives in here each and every time and as you can see man we don't know we he may be all right
48:24now but you know the couple of days that's on you don't know what may happen so he's definitely in my
48:29prayer and i hope he's doing well and the good news is as we're told by the doctor and by ronnie shields
48:34is that he will be okay let's take a look at his final shot you were kind of having trouble up until
48:39this point uh he was giving you all kinds of fits wasn't he most definitely he was definitely a crafty
48:44guy um i haven't sparred us uh uh competed against the southpaw in three years so um you know he had
48:50to pull these people on his side that gave him the motivation the will to do what he had to do you
48:55know he was a tough contender but hey you're fighting for a world title everybody's gonna be tough
48:59everybody's gonna say i i'm not gonna stop until he's gonna have to kill me and so you know
49:04he did a great job man and there you see that big right hand you just saw the opening and took it
49:09was surprised it took you nine rounds to find that opening oh most definitely you know um like i said
49:14he was more crafty and slick that we thought you know but it's it's it's boxing and uh we got 12 rounds
49:20so i'm very patient you know and i'm looking forward to setting up with a punch and stuff like that so
49:25you know they all can't be pretty all right well we have tyson fury right here i know that you want to
49:30to unify this championship as tyson comes in right here you guys have exchanged some tweets listen
49:36there's only one tyson fury what you gotta say about that yonti what you gotta say about that
49:44hold on a second let's keep this civil here would you like to fight we all know uh fury you just you
49:49just a phony man this is just for act you know where i am you know what time you know what place i
49:53i ain't scared of nobody i'll come to your backyard baby for that my man i promise you that any time
49:58when you put you up in the ring with a real fighter when you're ready when you're in for a real fighter
50:02that's what it's all about man no bother no bother listen any time any place anywhere
50:09i'll fight you in your backyard like a dumb glitch go i'll beat you your bum you're a bum
50:14now that might not have been a good idea you know it's all it's all it's all we already know he's
50:28this is just an act baby you're not a real fighter this is an act i don't put i don't play this you
50:33should be an actor but when we do step in this ring this ain't wrestling this ain't the wwe baby when
50:39you do step in this ring with me if you do because this could have been done a long time ago you can
50:44you can run around like you're a preacher and all that you want but baby i promise you when you step
50:49in the ring i will baptize you i guess it didn't take long for this promotion to start
50:58tyson tyson would it be pavetkin charles martin or this man running around the ring right here next

51:43what a way to kick off the 30th anniversary of showtime championship boxing welcome
51:48to 2016 as we look at the official scores at the time of the stoppage and all three judges had it for
51:57deontay wilder who put an exclamation point on the proceedings and deontay wilder retains his
52:05title our unofficial scorer had it for wilder as well steve farhut at the time of the stoppage but man
52:12you talk about a uh a promotion getting started prematurely and the fans really giving it to tyson
52:18fury we already know that he has signed a rematch with vladimir klitschko deontay wilder seemingly
52:23winning over the crowd here in brooklyn but man cannot get over what a night it's been let's go
52:29back to brian custer and you know what as you take a look at this tyson fury still doing his act in the
52:34ring i don't think it's a coincidence we've got the voice of the wwe more over now and we got some wwe
52:41antics going on in the ring right now look at look at fury he's in the up on the corner
52:47deontay wilder told us in our fighter meeting that his next opponent would probably be alexander
52:52povetkin but he would he would certainly like to unify all of the belts by the end of the year
