Guangdong, China – A young boy from Qingyuan has gone viral after CCTV footage showed his unexpected reaction during a 4.3-magnitude earthquake on June 23. As his family rushed outside for safety, the boy briefly joined them—only to dash back inside to grab food from the dining table.
The video shows the father and two sons having a meal when tremors began. While the younger son and father quickly exited, the elder boy returned to stuff food into his mouth, even attempting to carry a bowl. His act has amused netizens, sparking memes and jokes online.
