00:00This Shanghai Cooperation Organization, its objective was to fight terrorism.
00:09When Radhanath ji went for a defense minister's meeting and there was a discussion on the outcome document,
00:15one country, you can guess which one, one country said that, no, no, we are, we do not want a reference to that.
00:24And Radhanath ji said that if there is no doubt about this, then we do not accept that statement.
00:31All parties going out across the world, speaking in defense of our national interest, giving the message that terrorism is not acceptable,
00:42that our need is zero tolerance of terrorism and if terrorism continues, we reserve the right to defend our people.
00:49This was the message that they carried.
00:51And I think it made the delegation, I personally took feedback from them.
00:57And one thing I can tell you, they said in every country they went to, people said,
01:02we are, for us the most impressive part is that all your parties including opposition parties are represented.
01:09I think it was a great moment for us.

02:25I am a minister of government, so I don't want to give a comment on this issue.
02:34Sir, we saw that it's a bit different question, but then we are seeing new India and new foreign policy, a very strong foreign policy that is coming up almost from times now.
02:45I am not saying defense minister went for the SCO and then he clearly stated that anyhow if it were terrorism or joint statement on terrorism is being diluted, India will not sign it.
02:54It's a clear message going out to the world. How do you see this?
02:57See, let me give you some context because I think it's important.
03:03This Shanghai Cooperation Organization, its objective was to fight terrorism.
03:12Okay, so this organization exists to fight terrorism.
03:16So what happened was when Radhanarji went for a defense minister's meeting and there was a discussion on the outcome document.
03:25One country, you can guess which one.
03:28One country said that no, no, we are, we do not want a reference to that.
03:34Now Radhanarji's view rightly was that without that reference when the main purpose of that organization is to fight terrorism
03:41and you are not allowing a reference to that, I am not prepared to accept it.
03:47So, so I think it is very understandable.
03:51And you know, again look, our point of view to terrorism, because one country, you see,
03:57the ECEO runs by unanimity.
03:59So with the discovery of the ECEO, the ECEO is running.
04:02So one country, it is, they have said that we do not believe that there is no meaning of it.
04:09And Radhanarji has said that if there is no meaning of it, then we don't believe that statement.
