00:05This is yet another step on our road to being a more perfect union.

00:17Today, it's hard to feel that same sense of joy and celebration because of the backlash that marriage equality, in essence, helped engender.

00:27Really, I just want to ask all of these people attacking the queer community, why?

00:32We simply want to live our lives and enjoy the same rights, the same protections, the same everything that you enjoy.

00:39We deserve it. We're human beings.
