00:36seems like the mavericks offseason is going is that i i think it's just so so so important to to try to

00:42find somebody who can you know not just bridge the gap and until kairi comes back you know he's an

00:47all-nba player and he is you know right now kairi is pretty much the most important player to making

00:53this whole roster work he's going to miss half the season you know d'angelo may be the best player

00:58they can get you know and on the free agency market um but free agency is not the only way

01:03that you could go try to get a point guard you know this is a situation that you know if if the

01:08mavericks have a high priority as high of a priority as me and you know maybe they don't and maybe i'm

01:13wrong um you know that's totally fair uh you know but but that's where how i see the team and and if i

01:19were running the team you know right now i would be very aggressive about you know moving players and

01:25doing what it takes to try to get somebody who is obviously not going to you know replace kairi

01:30one-to-one in terms of creation ability and all nba uh talent but but just get somebody who is uh out

01:37there you know because you know d'angelo or you know bring back dante exum chris paul doesn't seem

01:43likely to you know could be going anywhere than than uh other than la uh malcolm brogdon uh you know at

01:49this point of his career is early 30s and not as effective as as he used to be uh d'angelo russell

01:55yeah probably is the most talented uh you know available guard uh you know if you're just

02:00prioritizing that with free agency um it's just you know that is a choice they're making and i think

02:06if i were running the team i would make a slightly different choice
