00:00There was a report that the Trump administration, when you centered on the mic, sir, there was a report that the Trump administration, there was a report that the Trump administration wants to breed members of Congress less. Have you spoken with your Republican colleagues about that?
00:16No, I've had conversations with other people in the administration about the strike. I mean, not in a classified way like this, but I've had conversations.
00:27What's the level of information that vendors should be getting when they're concerned about these leaks, especially after they have said that maybe something came out of Congress?
00:37Well, I mean, I think a lot of people in the media and others clearly jumped on that early leak. I mean, I think it's clear that it was effective. It doesn't necessarily that it permanently destroyed their nuclear capabilities, but this is why I absolutely have been calling for those strikes, and I continue to say that.
00:57Well, I'll say this. I love that man, and he's coming in from a very principled side, but I'm gunning, and I'm going to vote now on that simply because I would never want to restrict any future president, Republican or Democrat, to do this kind of a military kind of exercise that was very successful.
01:22No, no, no. But I remember it wasn't that long that we were upset with, too. You know, I mean, depending on if they, I don't think it's appropriate to fire the individual to disagree with it.
01:46But, again, this isn't like a new issue, too, because I know when we were in the majority, we kind of had our frustrations in certain circumstances.
01:55Is this a thing with the parliamentarian, like working with the refs, where people are pleased if they get it the way they want it?
02:02Who's the best of it? The Steelers fan versus the Bengals fan?
02:05Yeah. I forget the name. Like, the tennis guy, John Mack, yelling and screaming at the referee just because you don't like the call.
02:13I mean, you don't have to like the call, but that's where we are right now.
02:15And now, for me, I would hope, what I would hope, that we just don't try to ramrod this through before the July 4th break.
02:23I mean, if this is so important, it's going to impact millions and millions of Americans.
02:28At least take your time to do it in the right way and just wait until after the break, you know, they have the rest of the month in July to do it.
02:35I don't understand why it matters to try to do something within the next five days in that difference. It's very strange to me.
02:42The Deputy Attorney General last night said that if it was a member of Congress behind that early leak of the damage assessment that I ran, that they would prosecute a member of Congress.
02:52Do you think that's appropriate if you look at that camera as well?
02:56Yeah, I wasn't aware of that at all, so I can't really comment on that.
03:02Does that alarm you that they might try to prosecute a member of Congress?
03:05I mean, in terms, well, I mean, once in prison right now, the gold bars in the mattress, I mean, it's all my concerns.
03:17I know, but here they have an issue on the idea that they're coming after a member of Congress.
03:22Well, of course, yeah, like, obviously, no kinds of political going after a member of Congress.
