“Fingers crossed…” Vikrant Massey, Shanaya Kapoor spill the beans on 'Aankhon ki Gustaakhiyan'

Mumbai, June 26, 2025 (ANI): Actors Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor speak to ANI on their upcoming film 'Aankhon ki Gustaakhiyan'. Shanaya Kapoor said, "I have a very special role. I play the character of 'Saba'. She is very dear to me. I think we became very close during this film. She is a very unique character. I have learnt a lot from Saba. There are a lot of similarities between me and Saba but there are also a lot of differences. What I found very special about her in terms of her character was that, she had a story, she had a graph...I am very excited...I have worked hard and worked from heart. Fingers crossed, that the audience also sees the love." Vikrant Massey said, "I have learnt a lot from her...This is her debut film, and the manner in which she has come prepared...The first day I met her, she knew even my lines during group reading...I realised that she has come prepared, so I will have to up my game...I am glad that I am a part of her first film and she is a wonderful person..."

00:08Yes, my role is actually very special.

00:12I am playing Saba as a character.

00:17She is very dear to me. I think we became very close during this film.

00:21She is a very unique character.

00:25I have learned a lot from Saba.

00:27There are a lot of similarities between me and Saba but there are a lot of differences.

00:33What I found very special about her in terms of her character was that she had a story, she had a graph.

00:41Sometimes you read a script and you are just showcasing a girl or you are just showcasing a character.

00:48But Saba, she had a different start in the film and she grows into something very very different.

00:54And I felt very unique.

00:58And I felt very connected with her story.

01:01I think that I have also faced a certain graph very early on in my life.

01:09And I connected to her graph very very much so.

01:13And I found that very special.

01:14I am very excited to see how the audience will feel.

01:18And I have done a lot of effort.

01:21And I have worked with my heart and genuinely worked with my heart.

01:25So just fingers crossed that the audience also see that love.

01:27How do you feel that love?

01:30No, genuinely it's genuinely like a once in a lifetime opportunity to face the camera with someone like Vikrant Masi.

01:43And I have gotten that opportunity in my first film itself.

01:45And when I was actually doing workshops with Rachid Singh, my acting coach.

01:51And I worked with him for many years.

01:54We have done a lot of workshops together.

01:56We have done a lot of group workshops.

01:58Once a week I used to go perform for the actors room.

02:01Where you choose a scene and you perform in front of a group.

02:05And there is always feedback.

02:06There is always things you learn from.

02:07And we always discuss.

02:08And all of that stuff.

02:09Which has really helped me.

02:10And then finally we were doing a workshop for Aakho Ki Gustakya.

02:14It was a workshop for 10 days.

02:16And we did a lot of things.

02:17With blindfolds especially.

02:19Just to get comfortable in the blindfold.

02:22So we went on the beach with the blindfold.

02:25Hotel lobby.

02:26I mean they were playing with a blindfold.

02:29Listening to songs on a blindfold.

02:31It's so much prep.

02:32And then finally it was the last day of the workshop.

02:34That the next day our film started.

02:37And obviously nerves.

02:38And I was like now what?

02:39Now how do I do this tomorrow?

02:41And he really.

02:43I remember this very clearly.

02:44It was a late night workshop.

02:47And he said now Shanai whatever I have taught you.

02:49Forget everything.

02:50Let go of it.

02:51Because you are going to be facing the screen with Vikram Masi tomorrow.

02:55And you just have to listen to him.

02:58You just have to be in the moment.

02:59And listen to him.

09:03तो बहुत मज़ा आया उनको करने में

09:04पर अब दुवारा नर्वस हो रहा हूं

09:06क्योंकि रिलीस पास आ गई है

09:07तो बस देखते हैं कि जनता क्या कहती है

09:11अब फिल्म तो बन गई है सर अब तो कुछ बदल नहीं सकते है

09:14लेकिन मुझे विश्वास है क्योंकि मैं ने फिल्म देखी

09:17और मुझे ऐसा लग रहा है कि अच्छी फिल्म बनी है

09:19यह बहुत ही खुबसूरत कहानी है

09:21और जब मैं एक script पढ़ती हूँ तो मैंने यह पहले भी कहा था
